@@harmless-kun The problem with that is the tournament was a later addition to the game, I think it was some free content added in. Hence why it is kind a bareboned with interactions.

Not all noble families where rich, they might have armor and sword that has been passed around from father to son but nothing more than that. That's why robber knights where such issue at the time frame KCD is depicting. Henry even meets quite a few of them during the main story and in side stories.

yeah, I'm still trying to master and get the feel of Scarmaker combo that's why.... Masterstrikes are simple enough and quite adequate but flashy combos...
had the best sword and maxed stats one tapped and killed him felt really bad lol
Yeah I always keep a really crappy sword and don't use skills against him
I convinced him to go on other adventures until he was good at fighting.
Wish i could tell him to go to Bernard to receive combat practice and let him join the tournament...

KCD is a good game my only regret is that there are still no patches or mods to fix the aventail to be put over cuirass.

that's Aachen dark brigandine armor... it has two variants, the black one and dark brown one.

Is that Herod sword? Its much better for cutting than thrusting.
