After beating Black Peter in Rattay Tourney he ambushes Henry with poisoned sword seeking revenge.

Man i suddenly got attacked by this loser i won obviously but was poisoned and i didn't have any antidotes cause i never got poisoned before. So i rushed to the Apothecary but the asshole was closed but thankfully i was able to break in and steal an antidote from him, and while i was at it i stole all his Groschen for being closed in 8 in the fucking morning while everybody else is open.
Now this is true gaming. No hand holding just like real life.

Some are there before, only the tailor and apothecary take until half past nine or so.
Bet you anything Peshek tipped him off where you'd be and how to kill you. He bets hard on the tournament and probably lost a lot when you won.

What's hilarious is that I dont even remember fighting this guy. Yes I remember kicking his ass in the tournament, but I dont remember being ambushed by him kater or killing him but apparently I did since I went to some village and got paid by the blacksmith for killing him, since Black Peter apparently murdered the smiths kid.

I wanted the video with everything in it. Interesting duel, lot's of combos and some challenge with the poison so audience can see what this fight is really all about. Thanks for watching and I hope you like it.
I just had this fight. He was killed in the duel, and then Theresa reported me to the guards. I was pissed since he jumped me, but then laughed, because that's how life really is. 😅

He probably saw a heard Henry celebrating in bathouse 😂 and took a lucky guess 😅
i can only assume if he wants to assassinate you, he studied you a lot before striking. he probably notices you going back here quite frequently and figures it would be a good place to ambush you
Black peter should have known from the tournament not to fuck with henry with his 20 strenght, clinch master perk, master strikes and a warhammer, shame about tge gear though

@@Beykus_cz I know I was just commenting from my first playthrough experience, I was getting destroyed every time so I trained with bernard until lvl 20 to improve my character and get slighly better with the combat system

How did he live for so long? I don't remember this guy ever being an issue once Henry is strong enough to win the tourney, especially with all those combo moves you pulled on him.
This is played on hardcore mode I believe there is a difference from normal mode. Plus I don't use a high end sword to make it interesting.
@@Beykus_cz Ah the sword quality explains it then. If I remember right, hardcore mode doesn't increase enemy health, so that doesn't really have anything to do with it.
He killed me the first time he jumped me because he poisoned me. Usually I wear a lot of armor because I rarely fight hitless, I just parry the worst hits, and leave the rest to my armor. Of course this time I was in plain clothes with a noble's sword for rp purposes lol, going to flirt with Theresa, and the only time he hit me was when pebbles kicked me off (and even then I just barely killed him first with a thrust to the face)
The real answer though is that he is literally too angry to die
@@saudade7842 The fight is long because I want to make an interesting video full of combos and with some minor plot around the poison. Otherwise I would just take Stinger sword and stab spam him to the death. But it wouldn't be fun to watch.
i could never beat him so i had to reload and sneak up on him and knock him out instead. then head stomp him into the dirt

I was riding a slow horse when he tried this, so I saw the rope and stopped my horse. I got lucky with the fight and didn't get poisoned.

He is a victor of many tournaments so for sure he is very skilled in combat. But he is not able to accept defeat so for me he is and forever will be just ruthless cry baby acting tough. I believe the growling is part of his act to make him look tough, but I think it's more funny than scary 😅

On my latest play through I didn’t do a tourney until I was max level combat. By that point I was rocking around with end game gear and had completely forgotten he ambushes you.

I do the exact opposite. I go to the tournament as soon as I can to get the combat experience. It adds an extra layer of difficulty to the tourney when entering inexperienced.
@@Beykus_cz fair enough, I usually go fairly early too, but this time decided after he learned the master strike and got to like level 6-7 with the mace and sword with Bernard, he’d just go max everything in the wild and treasure hunt for a while lol

I just had mutt with me he bit him and i whaled on him so i never found out he had a poisenous weapon or who he was until the DLC mission mentioned his name
what black peter was not readyy for, is me, not being able to be dismounted outside combat and also having a weapon poisoned with bane. Was a bad day for peter, to say the least
Somehow I beat this guy in the tourney, and killed him after getting jumped without even realizing his blade had poison.
Yes that's the way to do it. If he hits your armor and does not penetrate it's ok. But if he penetrates the armor you get poisoned. This duel is deliberately made long to show some combos and to make it interesting to watch.

I am not using a high end sword to make the duel longer and more interesting. It was done for the purpose of making the video more interesting.
Is this some mod that removes that target lock symbol?
Cause it doesn't look like you're actually playing unlocked all the time and that wouldn't make much sense in a one on one anyways.
Also, he pokes you a few times, I'm surprised it took that long until you got poisoned, you're not wearing full plate or something, I always get poisoned on his first hit, very annoying!
@@DerEchteBold As said before, this is play on hardcore difficulty and the duel is staged and prolonged for more theatrical quality.

@@DerEchteBold no problem mate. Hardcore mode does not have any HUD. By staged duel I mean I didn't want to kill him right away. I wanted to play with him and show my moves and combos. Also my stats are quite low. You can check them at the end of the video.

It's been a little while since I played hardcore but I just checked and I remembered correctly, the lock symbol (plain circle) is still there, just not by default when combat mode starts, so that means you simply don't use it at all, I didn't consider that possibility, I always turn it on automatically without thinking about it.
I tried this fight with the lowest possible stats needed to get the masterstrike a couple of times and yeah, it's extremely difficult, especially if you also just have the most basic equipment, only managed to defeat him in an actual fight once, had to go about half an hour or so without getting hit, the other times I gave up after a few times dying and just rode him into the ground.
wtf, he poisons me first hit everytime, you've been hit like 20 times, still no poison lol. I play with mods these days, to remove slow mo and master strikes, so I ambush him with a bane coated arrow and then fight him

I lure him toward the bathhouse and then slash him from horseback. It took 4 to 5 slshes,easy kill
Easy for sure, but challenging, hard, satisfying, cool to watch? I don't think so.
