This was the comment I was looking for. 50 groschen as a rapper name :P We need more Bohemia rapper names from the 1403! But the crazy part is that I think there are three different necklaces in the game that do the same thing and look the same. (or the charisma stat might be different), but it is sort of a shock to see that :P
@@MKarl4 lol yup, I was thinking of putting it in there, but resisted. I already had a bunch of other silly sound effects going and though better to limited the use :P But I promise it will be back.
For people trying to do these huge looting runs and got super over encumbered. Instead of dropping precious loot to get lighter, you can train drinking to level 10, get 'Safe Passage' perk. Take all the loot you want, start chugging alcohol until you pass out. You will respawn in the nearest bed you own, and at the bed will be your personal chest you can dump all the loot in. You can then take your time taking the loot out to sell in batches in town.
Thank you! I have Henry's drinking at level twenty with only Safe Passage taken and the other 5 perks unassigned. I never used them because I could not see any benefit. I never even tried Safe Passage. Now you've given me a reason. Up to now I've been using a camping mod. That lets Henry pitch his own wee campsite almost anywhere in the countryside when he is outside city limits. He has a bedroll, a cookpot, campfire, and best of all, his magic inventory chest. He does not have to trudge a country mile and no guards are there to catch him with stolen loot. Its good to know there is a legitimate game activity that is a reasonable alternative when trying to stash a large haul of loot. Now I'll have to explore getting drunk. I've always avoided it because I do not like trying to play with a distorted screen.
@@tomscott4706 But what if Henry has been appointed Huntsman of Talmberg? He has residency in the Huntsman's Lodge. The Lodge provides him access to his inventory chest. Plus he has a few other chests where he can stash a pile of loot that is destined for market. He also has the vendor chest, cleaned that out the first day and the vendor goods have never respawned, no more "best wounding arrows".
@@helicalgoose oh yes i've watched a couple of your videos and i've learned a trick or two.. also discovered some myself but i won't be spoiling anything here :p
There's another Good Spot for a Random Encounter West of Uzhitz on the North Most Path heading towards Talmberg. I've had the Encounter Spawn Multiple times whilst Questing to the Point it got Annoying. Usually Spawns Cumans & Bandits & in a Large Group of no less than 8, Sometimes up to 12 or 13 Enemies with Loot & Shinies for the Taking!
There's another tactic I've discovered, and it's a lot more abusive. Basically it requires lockpickmaxxing to be able to open very hard chests, stealing everything from the Rattay swordsmith and armorsmith at night, selling it all to miller Peshek, then rinse and repeat. Peshek "sells" the stuff he bought from you regularly, and then at the end you can open his personal chest and just get all that money he got from the stuff he bought from you. It can be literally 100k+ if you've done it enough times
100% agreed! There are a few ways to go in this game to get stupid rich. The thief way is one of my favorite since it feels like Henry could be caught at any time even if you're maxed out on stealth. The random encounter way is good if I feel more like beating people up. And the potion making scam if I feel more calm, but that one is my least favorite for certain. :P
There is even faster way - just loot Peshek chest after all this and put all stuff there. It will get sold all in one go (one or two nights) and you can loot your money instantly from there afterwards.
Haha, I am glad :P I do have to admit that after this series I will have to shelf this game for awhile, I am starting to get a bit worn out. But other games that I am worn out of, I will still watch other people play for some reason since they do some insane things that I never seen before, can't miss that.
Ah, I was not certain at first if that was part of the euphemism like "hunting accidents" where famous people get killed by "accident" but it was more of a hit. lol, we could always expand the Wiki list ;)
That is very true. I sort of forgotten about traders because they usually do not stand a chance. I usually see traders versus anything as "extra free loot". But also they spawn far less frequently than anything else so they were in the back of my mind.
Tbh I pick every lock I get to and very quickly max out my skill. You can totally just TAKE the money from vendors without selling anything. In fact, you can spend their money on themselves to "steal" their whole stock legally and then just steal the money back again. Even further, you can be "generous" with every transaction in order to build goodwill for free.
My Henry is singly responsible for keeping shops in Rattay that sells fruits, vegetables, and bread items flushed with cash. But Bread rolls they sell a ton of them and they are so much fun to drop hundreds of them at a time to watch the chaos they generate :P
I'm very glad to have stumbled upon this video. Now I know a great spot for a skirmish spawn to either fight in or watch happen and get lots of loot. Thanks man. Really appreciate the info. Also love the editing in the video. 👍
Glad you love the editing! Sorry I did not get back to replying, I have been extremely busy and sort of trying to keep things up. But if you ever need more tips with the game just ask or check out some of the older videos with related stuff :P
OMG I gave up my first hardcore playthrough after the similar bug of "fall damage" when dismounting. I had just come back after 2 hours of adventuring and questing to go to sleep in my home, only for that to happen! OOOOF
100% I can see how that would cause me to flip a computer if it was my first hardcore playthrough or that I did not expect a bug like that happen. I have seen it on Reddit before, but this was actually the first time that it happened in about 700+ hours of playing this game. There is another one that would make people go crazy, but its really rare (or I have never seen it so far), but when you go into slow-mo to block a hit, it will cause Henry to fly into the air. Never been able to reproduce that, nor the one where the NPC's sword starts spinning like whirling fan, but oh well. :P
@@helicalgoose oh I've flown into air mid combat before, it was hilarious. But dying from "falling off my horse"... I was feeling safe and relaxed until I wasn't
@@mortache I like to think that the devs thought the game was too easy and decided to add random lines of code that when things have gone too good then the bugs starts happening :P
I love it! Honestly the witch lost points with me because I could not create a mess in the game. All the stuff just drops as a single thing, like this is not what I wanted! :P
As a game dev I cried when you described how much you love to break the game and mess up your frames. all my years of learning smart design and student loans wasted :(
Don't get me wrong, I really love a smooth moving game with good FPS. Though there is something cathartic about moving around a mount of junk with Henry's body is quite fun no matter the FPS loss (especially since I am hurting myself, this would never happen normally). I know the Witcher 3 gets around this by putting all the items you drop on the ground as a single item stack that looks like nothing. I really do appreciate that the Devs took the times to make models of the items, allow us to drop them in the game then mess with them. Makes the world feel quite a bit more alive. Also to be fair, I have already beaten this game so many times, that I am now just messing around with the world and not so much the main story game anymore :P
AHAHHAHAHAH 6:28 It happened to me at Hardcore mode. I was leaving the horse at Oeshek's mill without fully stopping, Henry fell and broke the neck. I never left the horse again until I was on a plain firm terrain imobile for at least 1 second.
I do like the excitement now of, is Henry going to die when he gets off the horse, I do not know :P Luckily, I am at the point of wealth where I carry 20 savior schnapps around, so chugging a potion every time I want to get off may seem excessive, but heck my Henry is worth it ;)
Im honestly surprised how youre not more popular, this kind of quality and hard work is really underrated but so is kcd but I am happy that you decided to just keep making content for my favorite game even if its not the most profitable or most popular thing. Side note: if youve ever watched “Lets game it out” he also does stuff like this, he plays random games and does the same thing over and over like you do and youre providing the same amount of entertainment as him but you are so very underrated!! Hopefully kcd2 would be very popular and youll get new fans to enjoy the videos you make!
The easiest way I found is buy bane potions. Poison your arrows. Fast travel to skalitz each time there will either be traders, bandits, Cumans or guards Let them duke it out while you try to hit each guy with an arrow. They all die you get 10-20k each run. They respawn once a day.
They re spawn more than once a day ;) You can abuse their spawn if you know what triggers their spawning. Skalitz is an absolute gold mine too. It is just way too far out to drag all the riches of the bandits to any location to store the goods then sell :(
Cabbages rolls and apples too. The best place to drop huge amounts of them is not a table at a pub, but a) Rattay main square so they roll down from there b) Pirkstejn castle from top floor through that staircase (also works on Talmberk). That fcks up NPCs :D One thing I haven´t seen yet would be with "what would happen if you dropped 400+ cabbages into fighting arena throughout the tournament".
Yup the fighting arena/tournament area is a bit tricky, even the area where you duel the armor-smith in Sassu. If you flood the area with items, when the tournament starts all the items get toss out, except, books, and I think torches. No idea why those items do not get clears but they stick around. The only problem is that I can't get enough books to cause a real problem. Plus books fall down into one another and do not generate any happy collisions :( So it could be possible but the game sort is ahead of me there. Apples are fun to roll too, but cabbages are so big that its a grand old time. My poor PC shudders at the thought of that sort of power :P
@@helicalgoose well, I didn´t mean to fight personally in the cabbages, just an option to stand somewhere (alone or on a horse?) and toss hundreds of them "over the railing" into somebody else´s fight. Because tournament grounds are in full swing fights even without Henry himself taking part and that is the key
@@zzodysseuszz Ah yes the combat can really cheat, especially if you're lagging real bad and the AI will just demolish Henry no matter what. The only saving grace is ride away and hope the AI lose interest fast.
The trader get ridiculously rich too by the way because they kinda resell the stuff. So it actually is not a problem to sell all that stuff very fast. I like the talmberg Tavern people because they actually buy everything. And after a few rounds of selling and waiting for a couple of days till they get the new money amount they get crazily rich.
It is amazing how rich they get! I have tried building one up slowly over time, but a problem happened to me where the guy reset his money all together. I think I stole it, thats what happened, then the money resets :(
I should've made a point about that. I mostly love going to this spot for a fight/training. I think I gained 3-4 levels on hardcore mode from just playing around this area :P
Normally after I train with Bernart I go to Previtzlavitz < whatever u spell that and just kill every single person there. Grab a bow run to the tiny stairs at the cuman camp and shoot them in the face, not only will you get insane amounts of loot but you will level your bow skill fairly fast. They will just stand there yelling: "YOU CALL THAT COMBAT?" While you deliver mayhem upon them. Another thing to keep in mind is, just grab everything from them and drop it to the ground then make a few trips back and forth to sell the loot, as unlooted bodies will disappear with their loot but whatever you drop will remind forever. You can easily fully sabotage the whole place when the time comes too since there will be no one stop you as you walk around lol.
I do love doing that too. That place is amazing especially since bandits have the habit of spawning with 2-3k of arrows. Sometimes they will spawn with top tier arrows in that huge stack and you're just swimming in wealth after that :P But overall that town is fun, I always delay doing that mission to take over the town because I enjoy when all the bandits respawn and lets me go start the slaughter all over again :P
That is actually a good idea to try out again. I mean that game has been updated for the last ten years, or at least having multiple versions released. :P
I spammed random encounters to level up my maintenance. Loot bandits, repair everything you can. Rinse repeat. And maintenance has good perks (savile row, stuffing etc)
100% The spammed random encounters is basically a training field for maintenance. I also go and steal all the armor and tailor kits, and bring them out in the field and repair like a madman. Also, just knocking people out and stealing their clothes and repairing them does pretty well too. I am sad however, that I am not able to repair their clothes and put it back on their body. Sort of like an aggressive tailor, trying to keep everyone's threads in perfect condition.
I think all of us are on the same page :D I would love to see it sooner than later, but I would much rather they take their time in creating another story rich master piece.
@@helicalgoose I heard that voice actors were working on it since 2022 I would say unless the game is finished,I don’t think voice will be done So maybe we will get the second part next year or maybe end of this year idk
@@Snay1998 Yup. It is tough to say without actually being there. To keep myself sane about the possibility of a new KCD game, I keep telling myself not to believe in anything until I see a trailer from Warhorse :P
This was hilarious. Also note it seems like the weight is in lbs. As a very general rule a sword will be between 2/3 and 1 lb per foot (1 to 1.4 kg/m) most of the swords look reasonable for that metric.
i love how the NPC still walking around, they must have using different threads to separate the gameplay from in-world activities, mind-blowing technique and game design mad respect for the devs
@@helicalgoose Well, the KCD horses might actually be even more hilarious. In this video at 2:37 a horse is caught riding a pig near the Rattay mill: ua-cam.com/video/FdlHwzrNb_w/v-deo.html
If you have the From the ashes dlc thats literally the best thing you can do. Just do a quest fast travel to your hood (in the forest you get ambushed like 99% of the time) do some reeve stuff + store your goods and repeat it. You get rich and litterally the best fighter in the whole medival ages in almost no time.
I do love the fact that bandits and cumans with no sense of self-preservation will be just literally around the bend of the forest trying to ambush the hungriest man in Bohemia. I mean you're right, if you're trying to rebuild Pribs you can just grab everything you need from the nearby forest. Water, food, bandits corpses, and wood. Its all there waiting for you!
Ah not during the tutorial :P I meant after the tutorial when the town becomes free to wander in again. For some reason guards like to come back and get their heads kicked in by well armored bandits.
@@helicalgoose the guards came back to life in my game. I had choked them out to the point where I killed them. After some many chokes you choke them in a glitchy looking circle. Then after a while of cow punching, sheep hunting, and lock picking bam there were guards again.
Hmmm...dammmm that is some big brain plays right there! I will have to try that. But I think that the bandit's inventory also gets factored into what body you're carrying. Carrying someone in plate armor is much heavier than clothing, but I am not certain about their inventory if that counts. But that is very smart!
I wish the mods were a bit easier to use in this game and we could mod in some serious drip for Henry. But now that I have two chains, this is not a problem :P
I'm re-watching this cuz I'm using this technique A LOT recently That mystery bandit that came out out of no where at 11:10 is from a bandit camp nearby(the last camp from the *Ruin* quest)
Oooh, that is tempting. It is possible, but I do not know if I should just use console commands at that point rather than trecking in tons of armor to sell :P It will take 2-3 days of in-game fighting time to get that much money I assume :P
I have a challenge for you: Get Karls father to spawn during the monastery questline, he is the only NPC wearing the black and yellow nobles hood. i have read comments from people about looting him but none of the mention how they got him too appear spawned. The best clue i have found is that he throws you out of the monastery.
Hmm, that is interesting. I actually never spawned him since I do not think he sticks around. But after my Hardcore Henry series is over, I think I might take a look at it, see what are the triggers to get him to spawn if he spawns at all. Hopefully he is not glued to his clothes like some NPCs are.
You know that would be a good addition to the game, someone needs to mod that in. I really wish that KCD did have a better modding community. Hopefully in KCD2 we will get a little bit of that!
I was actually shocked at how stupidly easy it is to get rich very early as soon as Skallitz is destroyed you go back and you hide on the wagon and just shoot all of the really high-level bandits with arrows
That is true! Honestly, the first time playing through the game, I made money the "honest way" by poaching all the game out of the forest :P The getting rich by killing bandits is not a big deal since I figure most people do not figure this out until they beat the game or are just quite aware of all the surroundings.
@@lenol0315 Hmm that is good though, the cuman armor is not as valuable. The way that comes to mind for me to slightly fix it, but still allow some abuse would be to drop the value of the "common" armor in general. The high level bandits shouldn't be showing up there but if they were give them the good skills but not the good armor. Also, more high level archers would eliminate or reduce the viability of standing on wagons or out of reach places, since on Hardcore Mode, if those archers hit you, they can one-shot or trigger your perks to occur. Those cumans 72-74 damage bows are not to be messed with.
Guys, I found a fix to the Skalitz farming technique. Get the safe passage perk from the alcohol skill and just drink till you're drunk. You'll wake up in a bed you own. Easy way to not have to haul your loot
Yup, that works for certain. Great skill to have! Skaltiz is a great place to farm, just got to move all the stuff you pick up to a container then pick it all up later and get drunk. Works out great :D
@@helicalgoose can't believe it took me forever to think of that. So many times I could've avoided pure rage from random bandits attacking me while I've got 3,000 pounds worth of equipment on me
If you are able to get above 1000 cabbages on the screen at once, please take a video :D But I will let you know that I am not responsible for computers crashing ;)
More salt to the wound This is before Hussite wars when everyone was poor and all wealth was primaly in Prague, in other words everyone was so poor that being 40+ was a miracle unless you had a mill or some form of production. Yet one peasant here named Henry is more wealthy than local royalty
That is true. I wonder if KCD will eventually roll into the history of that. I do not think there are many games that goes into that war, it is an interesting history that often gets overlooked.
You're absolutely correct about the storage in Skalitz, especially if you're not afraid to do the walk of shame towards town with more loot than is in Sigismund army. For I can not lie and say that this random encounter is better than the one in Skaltiz, and really, nothing has the same consistency as Skalitz or the loot piles.
Ah I am going soft. Does it least help that I wait for traders and guards to be butchered by bandits/cumans before I go in to "clean up". I mean technically I did not kill them, but just sort of watched it happen.
For certain! There are some good spots all around, but I am not 100% certain on those triggers. (Like which direction coming towards gives best spawning results). There are a few I know about that I can get reliably but either the loot is low tier or way too far out to haul all the stuff back. But either way, bandits = good loot
There are a ton of spots to check out :D I have been thinking of putting a video together on certain spots and how to trigger them reliably. The biggest issue is finding the trigger for the spots. Some places you can get every time like Skalitz and this spot, other ones vex me greatly. Not certain if its a % roll or not. But you mention some great spots.
There’s one crossroads where I know I can just lock on with a sword, back up on top of a bush, and be untouchable to about 10 NPCS in full gear (guards vs bandits). Most kill each other and then you just blast the last ones in the face with arrows from five feet away.
Hmm, sometimes it can be a bit finkie and I am not certain why. If you try riding all the way to the footbridge and come back to that wagon they should respawn. If not, take a night at the Inn sleep a day or two then try and repeat. Sometimes this game bugs out, believe it or not ;)
@@henkhenk1601 Glad to hear that! This site is fairly reliable for spawn. I know the Skalitz is basically guarantee to get a encounter spawn, but its a bit too far to do the walk of shame with tons of Bandits loot :P
Someone I know started using that word non-stop and it sort of creeped into my vocab during the day at times. Another one is "Yah buddy". Its been years since I have seen that person but it is seared into my normal conversations :P
this is my next game. almost finished with the witcher 3. i look forward to getting addicted tot his game. it might take me a week to get into it, but i will
Well best of luck :D Witcher 3 has a whole different vibe to it, but it is quite enjoyable. Feeling like a badass killing all sorts of monsters. Kingdom Come has the feeling of being a badass that can be taken down by three peasants and their dog if you're not care :/
You know, when you finish the From Ashes DLC and report its completion to Sir Divish? He reacts with amazement and asks how you were able to rebuild Priby so quickly. Henry solved your Cuman problem.
I take a trip to skalitz for a haul of all the armour I collect off the corpses and the bandits there. Must be about 50k groschen currently in a chest there. My precious treasure
Exactly what i did. I went from hunting bandits to going to random encounters and then the traders to sell it all. And then i went to Pribyslavitz to invest all the money
That is probably what bandits were meant for originally in the game. Honestly, I wouldn't know how/have the patience to rebuild that village. This way it is like, boom I want funds now! Plus its slightly fun to just make a mess out of the game. I do like being able to drop a bunch of items all over the place.
After you build Pribislavtz there's no reason to be rich in this game. Traders never had a better equipment than what you can find for free. All your expenses will be saviour schnaps, and baths.
100% true. Honestly I just used the groschen for the rest of my playthrough to counteract all the negative thoughts people were having when Henry was beating them up or throwing them outside the map. People are quite forgiving if you pay them enough.
@@helicalgoose Yeah, and then there's the role playing aspect of it. But I wish Warhorse would give us more reasons to be rich in the next game. Like buying houses, some building mechanic maybe, idk.
Yup. I think everyone sort of agrees that the Pribs village building DLC was a rushed job/it was only put in to meet their Kickstarter goals. There was soooo much more that could've been done with that, which is why I think people do not like the DLC that much because we all could've seen the potential of it to be so much better and to actually use our groschen. Oh well next game maybe will have something more fleshed out.
Gosh, I really do miss that I did not get to play KCD on the opening few months when things were really broken. All I can picture is polearms scattered all over Rattay streets overflowing the town until your game crashes from the pile of match sticks everywhere.
@@helicalgoose Unfortunately most of them would get stuck in the ground over time so it didn't look quite that ridiculous, but I think that collision made the performance issues all the worse. The funny part is that even when you did see them you couldn't even do much to alleviate the problem because picking them up counted as stealing, lol
I hope so too, but I got a strange feeling we might not hear about it for another year, and then another year after that. :( But that is alright, good games like this takes awhile to make.
You can get incredibly rich from just playing, ive not grinded one way of getting rich yet sat with over 10k and nothing to spend it on, wish we could have purchased our own castle and then spend the next 5 years kitting it out
I 100% agree with you on the castle gig or something that was meaningful. They had the DLC "From the Ashes" to build your own village, but it felt really shallow since the buildings were quite linear, the layout stayed the same and the benefits were minimum. I mean yes you can make like 2k a day from the place once full built, but once you plowed 100k into the place, money was never a problem to begin with? If they were going to do something like this again, give us an option to use money to really change the game, or allow us to screw around royally by throwing cash around like a boss ;)
It probably does. For some reason I always hit the otherside and have good luck there. Not certain how often it spawns or where you need to go to reset it. There are a few of them out there, Skalitz is the main one because it spawns every time, you can't mess that one up. There are a few other lower level ones around but they are fickled with their spawn at times. It is one thing to know a spawn location, but knowing what triggers it and how often is another valuable piece of knowledge to know and would love to be able to write up a detailed list for everyone sometime.
Same fight happes if u ride out from uhzitz toward neuhof , the bandits vs qumans. It was night time tho just before the forest line where you are sent to find the Pie(first clue spot) but i dont know if it respawns all the time.
Most definitely. I think I might someday do a tour guide of popular spots to find fights. But honestly there are so many of them it would be tough. The real trick is finding the trigger to get the fights to spawn consistently or either above 50%. There are a few places I can get to spawn reliably, but only a couple are close to a town :/
A fairly accurate description of KCD looting. First at low levels you're scared of the band of peasants because they're going to whup your butt Later at higher levels you're annoyed at the band of peasants because they have nothing of value to sell.
@@helicalgoose I still can't defeat groups of well armored bandits without cheesing horse archery. I have a shitty caveman computer that can barely run the game and I don't know how to transition between targets and always get surrounded.
Yah, I completely agree with you on the computer issue. When I first played the game I was on a old gaming laptop that barely ran the game, but I couldn't do any melee combat because they would destroy me. Transitioning over to a decent computer its a world of difference and much more enjoyable game. But, for your situation what I found works is that if you can afford the fastest horse in the game (speed is the key), use the speed to ram into bandits full speed and it does a ton of damage. I believe at full speed, (60+), bandits are two shot, maybe 3 because of bad RNG, but Henry on a horse is essentially a bullet. Add that to your horse archery, and those bandits will go down easily. The only time I ever fight melee is 1v1, because the lag in this game even on decent computers can still make your hits not register.
a A question in that big respawn, the shield of the flaming heart appeared to you since there are publications from people who say that it is exclusive to the robber baron, others who saw it in vranik and I saw it randomly on the map, I don't know if they later updated to make it unique or with zero probability of it coming out. By the way, the robber baron at the beginning carried a boar shield.
It keeps paying out. Once you get a fast enough horse you do not even need to get off to fight the bandits, you just kill them then collect, rinse, and repeat.

You dropped enough armor to fully equip every peasant in Bohemia. LOL
I really do wish I was able to dress all the peasants in anything I wanted when you knock them out. That would've been a great goal to fully equip everyone in some of the best armor as a personal army :P
That actually would be great! The downside is that Modding for this game is tough from what I hear. There really isn't a community for modding since the scale of difficulty is so high which is a real shame. I have not looked around for one since I do not use mods (currently), but hopefully in the future for KCD 2 or whatever they call it, they will allow for an easier time to mod the game. Honestly if they did, they could've turned this game into Skryim 2.0 with the dumb levels of modding that game has.
Haha 10 million just seems one of those absurd numbers that should not really even happen in this game but can over time :P I really do wish the groschen had their own unit when you dropped them individually, so you could recreate scrooge McDuck and drop all your groschen in a pile and swim in it :P
lol Horse on a roof is now a warning sign in Bohemia. Not so much about weather but about Henry carrying 500 tons of bandits underpants and he might steals anyone's else nearby.
Encumberance is no issue when you learn not to be a pack rat. If I have an advice to give to players trying to make monies in a short time, it's to just run skallitz encounters and only grab silver/golden spurs/jewelry from corpses (and a few other excellent price-to-weight value items like magdeburg sword).
100% agreed. Those spurs are good as gold and weight around 1? Also at the same time unless you have a merchant built up to purchase all your goods, it does no good lugging all those items around just have to hold onto them forever in your little box. The spurs are just easy to hold onto when merchants has groschen or either you need to buy something.
@@helicalgoose Yeah, 1.0 weight for spurs. I wish it was that easy IRL to check price-to-encumberance ratio when you need to get rid of stuff to move to a new place.
You guys can just get the single best perk for any loot goblin, safe passage. You only need to be hungry and have some strong alcohol. Boom wake up in a bed you own. Now you can store all the goods for later
Wish kingdom come deliverance adds the Scandinavian greatsword. They need to add greatswords, the techniques are the same as longswords. Maybe even better, especially with underhaul and overhaul and false edge and front edge with thrust combinations
I do too. I really wished that KCD was a bit more mod friendly, or easier to mod. This game has tons of potential to tap from the graphcis and what they put together. The community could've Skyrim this game with mods to heck and made the game that much more popular. For anything for KCD2 I would love for them to provide a real support for mods.
That is a really good value right there. Especially once you fill up your horse with it all, your Henry is basically set for the whole game. No matter the cost he can spend it! :P
Ah...that is a good thing to know. There are other times where if you mess with Rattay in vanilla game enough and the guards start to spawn so many that the guards are actually pulling off massive mario jumps nearly over a castle wall. Then that explains or sort of sets up how they can do it since the drop in recording physics steps to help keep the game running :P
@@Gimboid79 I read somewhere (a long time ago) that they were planning on abandoning the current story and starting fresh in a different time period and setting. But like you say, plans change.
That is a good way to do it too. Rattay and Sasau have the best shops. I want to say for everytime you rob the armorers it is around 10-15k when selling to Peshek or putting it in his chest. Still good money. The part I am not a 100% certain is that I stuffed his chest with tons of items, but then his total money amount the next day went back down to 1000 groschen like wtf. I was mad because I was already recording the video way in advance so I lost a ton of money that I did not need, but still...
Just keep going to skalitz and letting the bandits kill each other and take their stuff, kill all random encounters and rob peoples houses put everything in your chest that’s stolen and keep selling the armour and weapons to the guys in rattay, rinse and repeat and always sell the gear for less than they offer you, keep doing it and doing it and over time the traders budget goes up and up and up keep doing it until they have a budget amount you want get your lockpicking up to level 6 and get the perk where if you’re drunk you can pick locks 30% easier, grab some wine and go rob all the Very hard chests in the sword and armour guys houses at night, you’ll get all your stuff back and their budget, put the stuff in your chest and after some time it will lose it’s stolen status and you can start again selling everything again, there budget will reset to 2k again, on my like 10th play through I tested how far you can take this and when I decided to rob them the armour guy had a budget of 600k and the sword guy was at 500k, took a while and got quite annoyingly boring but yeah easy to do!
Middle age rapper, also known as 50 groschen got robbed by a man with 3.5 tons of stuff in his pockets. Great episode. Cannot wait for the next one 😆
This was the comment I was looking for. 50 groschen as a rapper name :P
We need more Bohemia rapper names from the 1403!

You can then take your time taking the loot out to sell in batches in town.
lol yep
Unless you end up in talmberg where you own a bed but there’s no chest 😂
@@tomscott4706
But what if Henry has been appointed Huntsman of Talmberg? He has residency in the Huntsman's Lodge. The Lodge provides him access to his inventory chest. Plus he has a few other chests where he can stash a pile of loot that is destined for market. He also has the vendor chest, cleaned that out the first day and the vendor goods have never respawned, no more "best wounding arrows".
@@valkyriesardo278 There is also an inn with a room and your personal chest in Talmberg.

Ah, well if you ever get the hankering to start messing with your game, you now know what to do ;)
@@helicalgoose oh yes i've watched a couple of your videos and i've learned a trick or two.. also discovered some myself but i won't be spoiling anything here :p
A nother encounter spot that almost always has a battle is on the road in the woods between Samopesh and the monastery. Great video 👍
Ah I know this one
Housebuilding song in the background makes the beginning complete 🫡🤘
That house building song is amazing. RDR2 really made some good music overall for their game, not to mention it was a great feeling all around :D

I do have to admit that after this series I will have to shelf this game for awhile, I am starting to get a bit worn out.
But other games that I am worn out of, I will still watch other people play for some reason since they do some insane things that I never seen before, can't miss that.
6:27 Wikipedia has a page called Category:Deaths by horse-riding accident
we can add there Henry from skalitz now xD
Ah, I was not certain at first if that was part of the euphemism like "hunting accidents" where famous people get killed by "accident" but it was more of a hit.
lol, we could always expand the Wiki list ;)
0:30 you also forget, bandits vs tradesmen, cumans vs tradesmen. Etc
15:13 "It's raining bread ! Halleluiah, it's raining bread !"
My Henry is singly responsible for keeping shops in Rattay that sells fruits, vegetables, and bread items flushed with cash.
But Bread rolls they sell a ton of them and they are so much fun to drop hundreds of them at a time to watch the chaos they generate :P
You almost killed me with that rapper joke. 🤯🤣
I wish I could think of a Bohemia Rapper name that existed in 1403.
We need a list below here asap! :P
Thanks, I didn't know about this spot.
Love your content, keep the good work up!
It is a great spot. Skaltiz is great, but this spot is closer to traders, also I tend not to get stuck here that often.
I love dropping stuff in these sorta games as well :D very cathartic.
Also to be fair, I have already beaten this game so many times, that I am now just messing around with the world and not so much the main story game anymore :P
great video as always, never fails to make me laugh
I am glad :D
I feel like I was a bit off in this video but still glad that you enjoyed it.
AHAHHAHAHAH 6:28 It happened to me at Hardcore mode. I was leaving the horse at Oeshek's mill without fully stopping, Henry fell and broke the neck. I never left the horse again until I was on a plain firm terrain imobile for at least 1 second.
I do like the excitement now of, is Henry going to die when he gets off the horse, I do not know :P
Luckily, I am at the point of wealth where I carry 20 savior schnapps around, so chugging a potion every time I want to get off may seem excessive, but heck my Henry is worth it ;)
Im honestly surprised how youre not more popular, this kind of quality and hard work is really underrated but so is kcd but I am happy that you decided to just keep making content for my favorite game even if its not the most profitable or most popular thing.
Fast travel to skalitz each time there will either be traders, bandits, Cumans or guards
Let them duke it out while you try to hit each guy with an arrow. They all die you get 10-20k each run.
They respawn once a day.
They re spawn more than once a day ;)
You can abuse their spawn if you know what triggers their spawning.
Skalitz is an absolute gold mine too. It is just way too far out to drag all the riches of the bandits to any location to store the goods then sell :(
@@helicalgoose yup doesn't work for hardcore
With a good horse saddle and normal mode though easy 200k in a few hours
Cabbages rolls and apples too. The best place to drop huge amounts of them is not a table at a pub, but
a) Rattay main square so they roll down from there
b) Pirkstejn castle from top floor through that staircase (also works on Talmberk). That fcks up NPCs :D
One thing I haven´t seen yet would be with "what would happen if you dropped 400+ cabbages into fighting arena throughout the tournament".
Plus books fall down into one another and do not generate any happy collisions :(
So it could be possible but the game sort is ahead of me there.
I’ve recently started redownloading this game bc I liked the gameplay even tho the game was so buggy it was genuinely game breaking most of the time
This game is good to come back every so often. I think the bugs make its charming now-a-days rather than unplayable like when it first came out :P
@@helicalgoosetrue. I’m specifically referring to combat mostly. Occasionally I got crashes or ai breaks but those are fine
I think I stole it, thats what happened, then the money resets :(
main thing about random event is not about money it about swordfight with them when you got outnumbered
Sometimes they will spawn with top tier arrows in that huge stack and you're just swimming in wealth after that :P
But overall that town is fun, I always delay doing that mission to take over the town because I enjoy when all the bandits respawn and lets me go start the slaughter all over again :P
I remember doin this in skyrim it deff couldn't handle that much stuff 😂
That is actually a good idea to try out again. I mean that game has been updated for the last ten years, or at least having multiple versions released. :P
I spammed random encounters to level up my maintenance. Loot bandits, repair everything you can. Rinse repeat. And maintenance has good perks (savile row, stuffing etc)
100%
The spammed random encounters is basically a training field for maintenance.

I didn't know that if you killed the guards in skalitz during the tutorial from stealth takedowns they respawn after a little while.
Ah not during the tutorial :P
I meant after the tutorial when the town becomes free to wander in again.
Good to see there are games more broken than Oblivion and Skyrim.
That is very true. Unfortunately Bethesda saw this game and just had to make Fallout 76 to regain their title.
I've been expecting this for a long time
Expecting the pile of looted armor to fill up a town square ;)
I was going to do that in Rattay, but the game really did not like it there :P
Could you have a bandit pick up all the stuff on the floor and then carry their body to Ledetchko faster?
Hmmm...dammmm that is some big brain plays right there!
I will have to try that. But I think that the bandit's inventory also gets factored into what body you're carrying.
Carrying someone in plate armor is much heavier than clothing, but I am not certain about their inventory if that counts. But that is very smart!
@@helicalgoose Hmm, perhaps if they have nothing equipped? Let's see if they thought about that :D

Henry drip
I wish the mods were a bit easier to use in this game and we could mod in some serious drip for Henry.
But now that I have two chains, this is not a problem :P
I'm re-watching this cuz I'm using this technique A LOT recently
That mystery bandit that came out out of no where at 11:10 is from a bandit camp nearby(the last camp from the *Ruin* quest)
That bandit is always a brave buddy, he just saw four big bodied guys got destroyed thought it was a good idea investigating :P
1403.exe has stopped working
My computer was not happy for a couple hours of me trying to record this. :P
6:30 the game is like bro stop that's enough loot u already got
I got that after long ride with Robart when we got to the camp. Well spend 15min.
I love to think that KCD devs can "spectate" random games and was watching this like, "this guy has way too much loot, kill him :P "
If I got killed like that, I would've quit KCD for the night. Luckily I just popped that savior potion so I was more disbelief rather than angry :P
Now you kind of have to find out the integer limit for the amount of money the game can handle! xD
Oooh, that is tempting. It is possible, but I do not know if I should just use console commands at that point rather than trecking in tons of armor to sell :P
It will take 2-3 days of in-game fighting time to get that much money I assume :P
We need Creeper or Mudcrab Merchant to appear in KCD so we can sell them this much stuff all at once
Honestly, the first time playing through the game, I made money the "honest way" by poaching all the game out of the forest :P
The getting rich by killing bandits is not a big deal since I figure most people do not figure this out until they beat the game or are just quite aware of all the surroundings.
@@helicalgoose i stumbled into this method and was like yea its awesome but they should only spawn cumans and low level bandits in there lmao

I have been thinking of putting a video together on certain spots and how to trigger them reliably.
I tried this it doesn't seem to spawn
Hmm, sometimes it can be a bit finkie and I am not certain why.

These are probably pounds which translates to 500g per pound. which means henry is carrying around 6 tons, the equivalent of 3 Ford F-150s or so.
Well, once Henry took the Leg Day perk and picked all those herbs in Skalitz, you can see it really paid off.
I take a trip to skalitz for a haul of all the armour I collect off the corpses and the bandits there. Must be about 50k groschen currently in a chest there. My precious treasure
My fav game of all time
It is a pretty good game, wish more people could get into it or come back after that crazy release with all the bugs sky high :P
Just ride slowly back after you reached the bridge, im on console and it works flawles.
@@helicalgoosevery nice of you still answering comments after a year
After you build Pribislavtz there's no reason to be rich in this game.
This is basically what the game used to do over time when guards would drop pole arms and never pick them up.
Hope KCD2 will be announced soon😍👍
I hope so too, but I got a strange feeling we might not hear about it for another year, and then another year after that. :(
But that is alright, good games like this takes awhile to make.
12:15 it caused me to fall with laughter
Bohemia's first rapper died way too soon in 1403 :(
It does definitely spawn heading east to west as well.
I like this guys videos
I do like you too
Loved this video xD
Same fight happes if u ride out from uhzitz toward neuhof , the bandits vs qumans. It was night time tho just before the forest line where you are sent to find the Pie(first clue spot) but i dont know if it respawns all the time.
Most definitely. I think I might someday do a tour guide of popular spots to find fights.
But honestly there are so many of them it would be tough. The real trick is finding the trigger to get the fights to spawn consistently or either above 50%.
There are a few places I can get to spawn reliably, but only a couple are close to a town :/
Random encounters in an RPG when you're low level: "ohgodohgodohgodohgod"
Random encounters when you're high level: "The loot walks toward you. Nice."
A fairly accurate description of KCD looting.
First at low levels you're scared of the band of peasants because they're going to whup your butt
Later at higher levels you're annoyed at the band of peasants because they have nothing of value to sell.
@@helicalgoose
I still can't defeat groups of well armored bandits without cheesing horse archery.
The only time I ever fight melee is 1v1, because the lag in this game even on decent computers can still make your hits not register.
a
A question in that big respawn, the shield of the flaming heart appeared to you since there are publications from people who say that it is exclusive to the robber baron, others who saw it in vranik and I saw it randomly on the map, I don't know if they later updated to make it unique or with zero probability of it coming out. By the way, the robber baron at the beginning carried a boar shield.

6:27 ahahahah, prognosis... You're dead!
I wish I had more opportunities to use TF2 heavy, its such a great line from him.
Man that’s a literal goldmine
It keeps paying out. Once you get a fast enough horse you do not even need to get off to fight the bandits, you just kill them then collect, rinse, and repeat.
You dropped enough armor to fully equip every peasant in Bohemia. LOL
I really do wish I was able to dress all the peasants in anything I wanted when you knock them out.
That would've been a great goal to fully equip everyone in some of the best armor as a personal army :P
@@helicalgoose perhaps with a mod?
That actually would be great!
The downside is that Modding for this game is tough from what I hear. There really isn't a community for modding since the scale of difficulty is so high which is a real shame.
I have not looked around for one since I do not use mods (currently), but hopefully in the future for KCD 2 or whatever they call it, they will allow for an easier time to mod the game.
Honestly if they did, they could've turned this game into Skryim 2.0 with the dumb levels of modding that game has.
My Henry has almost 10 million groschen from random encounters (and selling that loot) and normal reward loot.
Haha 10 million just seems one of those absurd numbers that should not really even happen in this game but can over time :P
I really do wish the groschen had their own unit when you dropped them individually, so you could recreate scrooge McDuck and drop all your groschen in a pile and swim in it :P
This is why D&D has bags of holding :D
Wait so the horse on the roof wasn't to tell everyone what direction the wind the wind is coming from. ☹️😲 That does explain the realism. ;)
lol Horse on a roof is now a warning sign in Bohemia. Not so much about weather but about Henry carrying 500 tons of bandits underpants and he might steals anyone's else nearby.
@@helicalgoose 😆I love seeing how not to play the game.
Good physics, rich town
I do love the physics of this game. But once you have lots of items on the ground, the physics start to do funny things :P
I ended up grabbing items at a 1:$100 weight to value
That is a really good value right there.
Especially once you fill up your horse with it all, your Henry is basically set for the whole game. No matter the cost he can spend it! :P
Actually its not frame rate dropping but its reduced physics time step thats why jumping takes so long
Ah...that is a good thing to know.
There are other times where if you mess with Rattay in vanilla game enough and the guards start to spawn so many that the guards are actually pulling off massive mario jumps nearly over a castle wall.
Then that explains or sort of sets up how they can do it since the drop in recording physics steps to help keep the game running :P
@@helicalgoose sounds fun, didnt seen it yet
Will kingdom come 2 ever happen
Yes... It's coming.
no
Don’t believe it will be a continuation of this story/setting but will be similar game mechanics, combat and open world rpg
@@amkyn I'm pretty convinced we'll get a direct sequel, they originally planned a trilogy... but plans change of course.
@@Gimboid79 I read somewhere (a long time ago) that they were planning on abandoning the current story and starting fresh in a different time period and setting. But like you say, plans change.
I'd rather rob sasau and throw it all in pesheks chest to generate money that way
I just rob and kill in the monestary area for good armor and because I hate the quests in that area
That’s what happens when your up on your high horse to long x__x 😂
This was God's way of giving Henry a wake up a call about his ego :P
It is possible to just grab body of that vacuum guy and that way transport all the item ? How fast you can move with him ?
I honestly do not know. But that is a great idea that you and someone else pointed out and I am ashamed I did not think of abusing that mechanic :P
