Hey Matt, I thought that I had fallen asleep and woken up in 1966 when I made bits and bobs like this in woodwork for me Mum... Sets off that little pot so well though.... Best... Bob (Weston super Mare)
Very nice! Looking at the price our local nursery charges for a version of this that doesn't even come close to looking as nice as yours, this might be one of those rare examples where making something works out cheaper than what you can pick up in a store. And this looks great.
Hi Matt, that was one grest project, I am on the process of making one myself, but I will be using povket holes, my only hope is mine turns out as good as yours did, best rebards fron a Kiwi living in Australia 👍👍👍👍
the jig has a little gauge / stop block on it with a ruler, I am guessing he measured the spacing of the two dowels and set the gauge accordingly for each cut.
Hi Matt, love your videos - but may I suggest in this instance using handtools? It would’ve taken around the same time, been more fulfilling, and have little mortise and tenon joinery! Or is it important to the channel to use power tools for everything for affiliate link revenues?

This has given me some great ideas for a big planter. Thanks Matt!
A really beautiful project
So 70's. All you need to make now is a nest of tables. 😉
Great work, bravo. I will try to make one for my flower.
Nice, need to give that one a try. Seeing what accomplish in such a small shop is very encouraging as my workshop area in the garage is very small.

Nice little project Matt. It really shows what a difference a few round overs and tapers can make to the end result. Thanks
Definitely makes a big difference
nice and simple because it's simple and nice ;)

A classic "mid-century" style pot stand, very nice Matt !
Glad to hear you have a friend, you can't count Keith you know ! 😉😁

Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Maybe it's a trick of the light but at 0:52 the sides do not look square. I really doubt these bench top planer/thicknesses
Which table Saw do you have ?
Looks really good with the tapered legs 👍🏻
Thank you

Thank you. Good luck with your project
Lovely! Could you sell this for profit? I.e batchwork them out? Just wondering.
Simpel dan sangat mengesankan👍👍👏👏
Nice! Question, which table saw do you use?
Looks really good but I think you missed an opportunity to do a mini Stonehenge that goes to 11!
Skipped over the hardest part of the build! How'd you get the second hole for the dowels on the long leg pieces?
the jig has a little gauge / stop block on it with a ruler, I am guessing he measured the spacing of the two dowels and set the gauge accordingly for each cut.
Did I notice a dowl hole in at least one of the legs further down from the cross sections?
Yes
Did I spy a drill hole on one of the lower legs?
Yes

Not everyone finds hand tool use more fulfilling than power tools, though.
