I like the Shaker feel you created.
Hi Matt that blanket box turned out perfectly, the colour used was perct as well, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia.
Thanks Matt!
Love it, about to make a similar one for storing Christmas decorations under the stairs
Matt, fantastic. I’m getting ready to build a toy box for my great grandson. I think your box might be a pattern.
Have used the cut list optimizer for years, its a great free app for getting the best use of a full sheet of material. 👍
Have to start calling you the Duracell Badger or 18v Badger. 😅
Yet another nice little ditty project. Thanks
great tip about the cut list optimiser
Great looking box and nice dimensions. Could adapt the design for all sorts of uses. I imagine they look great side by side.
Fantastic work, Matt! 😃
Really beautiful chests!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Nice one Matt, they turned out great 🤙🏻
Great job and video thanks Matt 🍺🍺👍
Great video Matt !!!
I didn't think I'd like this colour but it looks great.
They look excellent Matt. I really like the antique pine top. I like your stuff because it’s straightforward and achievable. Even I could have a crack!
Very useful, I'm sure and very well made.
Thank you very much
Nice project. I can think of couple useful ideas for one.
Thank you
Nice job Matt, I've used cut list optimizer before and as I don't use a lot of sheet goods it's a really good way to get the most bang for your buck
Yes it’s a good idea to save on waste
Q) So, in your design work...what would you say influences the most? A) A tight corner on a narrow staircase! These are superb, Matt. the contrast of lid and chest is just enough to make them ultra smart. Well done.
p.s. how does the cut list thingy allow for kerf thickness?
You input your kerf thickness as a variable to the calculation
Really nice Matt! 👌🏻
Thank you
Hi Matt, Very nice job mate, nice and clean as usual. Onya !
Hi Matt, another great video. I wanted to ask though, with the track saw you use, have you ever used a festool one before and would you recommend the Bosch over it?
Nice one mate
Thank you
Nice job as ever, I like how the finish came out. Did you consider putting the chest on end for going up stairs? I was surprised by a professional mover doing that with a sofa to get it round the corner in the stairs
Spot on video as normal ☺️
Just used my first boxes of Spax Wirox, bit disappointed as there was a white crust and even what looked like rust spots on the heads. Knocking on for 10% loss now. How do you find them?
They look really nice. I'd like to this as a project, but I don't need one, or have any where to put one!
I do that then end up giving stuff away. Could be a Christmas present.
I haven't been following you as much I a should, where is your shop?
I like those a lot, perhaps some antique pine bun feet would really set them off👍👍
It's interesting to see the track saw in action, but there don't seem to be any clamps. I'm intrigued, how is the track fixed to the sheet of wood?
Mine has non slip pads on bottom of tracks so on plywood and mdf don't need clamps..
No sanding or primer ?
You never use primer or undercoat when painting Matt, I guess you don’t think it necessary?
Box’s look really good with a simple construction
It all depends on the paint you are using
Haven't watched yet, sorry but had a thought that you could use pocket screws on the outside and then cover with the fake shaker. Would be strong and go together really quick.
Tidy bit of work there.
Thank you
no feet on the boxes ?
