Very smart solution! Love the option to replace the screen as needed. Easily, too! I have a single door window on a Ford E-450 (bus entry on the passenger side so only the one regular door with a window. I will keep an eye on things for when he expands his library of model forms and I can put one on mine. It does okay but that is much better than factory setups. Thanks for introducing us to these.

Thanks for that! I contacted him about buying a pair. We have a dog now - yay! - and we don’t always need to run the generator and the air conditioner when we go to lunch. Sometimes a little fresh air and the Maxxair fan is enough. They look like the perfect solution for some secure, bug-proof ventilation.
They look nicely made and I really like that the screen material is self replaceable.

I have had my screens from Greg since I picked up my van last August! Love them. They work perfectly. Love the fact that if I need the change or replace the screen I can easily do it myself. I believe the screen that comes with it is effective against noseeums as well.

So we got our screens about a month ago. I paid him with Zelle, which was simple and painless. I was in the middle of a broken wrist and I didn’t get the screens up to the Travato right away. But I finally got them put in - lots of fun with a long arm cast! - and they’re great. And Greg is great; he originally said that it would probably cost around $20-25 to ship them to the Bay Area, CA, but he found a cheaper shipping source. So even better! Nice guy, great emails And honest. He could’ve told me it cost $25 and pocketed the difference and I wouldn’t have known. So I really appreciate that sort of ethic

They’re perfect and simple to use. So we’re ready for me to get back in the saddle and take a little trip. Hoping that we can avoid running the infernal noisy generator to cool the inside down on those not-too-hot days by just running the the Maxxair fan using the house batteries, and pulling fresh air thru the screens.

Not sure what you been by “pet safe”. Can tell you they are very sturdy inside and out and worked well when my cat traveled with me

Scott -- many people have stated that your style screen door is unreliable and prone to breaking. But I haven't heard you mention any problems with it. Have you had any problems with your side screen door? Have you had an opportunity to try to roll-down version that is on other Travatos? Any thoughts about the differences, pros and cons, etc?
Also does the sliding screen door really open from the front of the van? If so, do you know why it was installed that way? If it opened from the back, then I would imagine you could open it to a much smaller degree with every enter/exit.

No issues with my screen door. I have tried the other style but prefer mine actually. Sliding screen door opens to the right from the left when standing in front of open patio door

Hi Laurie. Great question. I always turn on my ceiling fan to pull air out of the van with the fresh air coming in from those awesome screens.
