She was quite the clothes horse in her teens and 20s, followed all the fashion trends, was a size 0 when she got married. Crazily enough, she was a farm girl who worked HARD and could lift more weight than a lot of men! She got paid her farm wage, was clever at sewing and made extra sewing and doing alterations for others, and loved going to town on Saturday nights. Her favorite saying, "Just because I'm a farm girl doesn't mean I can't look fantastic!" always makes me laugh! She's still farming and sewing!

My grandmother had a home made poodle skirt she gave to me and my sister. My sister didn't want it so I took it and I wore it to school on a decade day. That skirt was so warm. I mainly kind of used it as a blanket. It was huge and warm
