The infinity bowl! Lol we sold them at illumination at the mall in 2000....they were" hand blown in Poland"....it was a double walled bowl so you could stick different silk flowers or branches put little stones or ornaments in bowl fill with water and add floating candles...a modestly decorated bowl with 3 small standard floaters ( there had all kinds of fancy floaters that were up to 10 a piece) ...would cost 75 dollars...that was 22 yes ago.
The idea was you had to keep buying candles flora and all the seasonal add ons...and buy 100 dollar 3 wick candles...lol
Why didn't she sell it on Holiday instead after the failure???

@@mickk8519 it's QVC, it's expensive crap but there is a market for it.... even so not why you can't "bring it back". inventory carrying costs might be an argument, but it's not super convincing that a failed product is the result of timing when you have a second bite at the apple

I bought that center piece and my grandma caught the house on fire when she placed lit candles in with 3 week old flowers that had dried up
Dried flowers added with flame makes big fire.

The fact that she couldn't explain it properly is probably the reason she lost money on it.
It's one thing to HAVE a good product; You must also know how to Market and Sell the thing too.
So you wait until the end of the year and sell them again during the holidays

Millions of mother’s in America and they sold like 30 units. Either it was a crappy product, you’re a crappy mom, you’re a mom who raised crappy kids, or you have a crappy husband. Imma tell it how it is.
She meant 30k I'm pretty sure.
So she isn’t owning that the product was bad. She is blaming QVC for the timing. I believe in helping people lean into intuition and advocate for themselves but I’m not sure this is a relevant story for that message.
At the same time she kinda admitted defeat in her first sentence tho
