This is insane, I was at a wedding last weekend in Sydney Australia, and one of the guests was changing her heels into flats and about 5 of us huddled around her and were in absolute awe. We struggled the whole night and she was in complete comfort. I WILL be buying a pair after seeing this in person!! This brand is legitimate!
Why not just keep a different shoe? You're going to carry a bag to put the heels in. Just put a different pair in the bag instead.

Deal or no deal, her appearance on this show had definitely bring more publicity to her company and products. It's's fantastic to watch her stood her ground because she knew what's the best for herself :)
So glad she didn't take the one lousy deal offered. A lesson to all of us, no matter how desperate the situation may be, never compromise and take a deal which was simply the only one available but was bad to begin with. Keep looking out for the right solution to your situation.
Honestly it's scary that she got to such a dangerous point, but at the same time this product seems revolutionary and she seems like an absolute baller so I'm sure the company will be fine!

She is a BOSS lady and will thrive in business in the future! This is an awesome concept for high heels! Not only for special events, but for celebrity singers on stage! Haley your negotiation skills were on point. “Mr Wonderful” would LOVE that if he saw that drive, determination and level headedness under pressure IF you were a guy.
He just decided to not show any flexibility because he figured you would fold. You were the giant in that room.
And it turns out you were better off without him or them. You’ll do GREAT things. Congrats on your success and keep on fighting for the business you believe in.
One thing…don’t let others frame your revenue based on what YOU provided which is the COST of your inventory. Not at a negotiation stage. It put you on the back foot. It’s not dishonest to project your revenue based on your current pricing, even if in the back of your mind you’re thinking you probably can’t sustain the selling price to make commitments to the revenue and profit targets they would expect. That can come later and with more money your economies of scale would improve, driving your cost price down anyway.

I remember seeing a lot of people on social media try out her shoes and give them raving reviews. Her appearance on the show, word of mouth and not to mention a genuinely great product really did help save her business cause last time I checked it's networth is about 15 million. I wanted to order some too but the added price of shipping to my country and customs would've been really out of my budget. I still wish I could buy a bunch of those shoes.
This is a learning experience she’s always going to remember. Never sell yourself cheap. Do it once than twice. She got herself this far

I've actually heard a ton of reviews from people who have tried this brand that they actually aren't that comfortable. Bc of the part that clips in, the flats are more curved instead of fully flat on the ground apparently. 😬 It's an amazing idea, but I'd check reviews first just to be sure
The other issue to think about is that after many uses the bottom of your shoe gets nasty and who wants to twist off the bottom of a shoe at that point? Also, where do you place the attachments?
I had the same thoughts for going to the office but then she walked out like a baby deer at the end which made me feel that they’re not comfortable

Barbara is spot on here. A company burning $90K who has a CEO who is so diluted and unfocused that she's going out just fundraising for millions instead of focusing on sales and reducing that burn rate is bound to fail. She's basically reduced herself to a role where she's doing all the work AFTER she got investments through convertible notes and yet she's diluted to 45% with the same problem of having to fundraise more. She should focus on selling her product and reducing that burn rate.
Exactly! Her products are not selling because to be honest the designs are not that great. It’s pretty basic shoes at a super high price point. If you’re paying about $200 a shoe, you’d want it to be shoes you’re excited to wear. I’ve also heard it’s really uncomfortable based on online reviews.

This is one of the few people who didn't get a deal in the tank where I'm like good for her, she's better off. And she didn't come in pretending to want a deal for advertisement, she was legit and deserves all the free press this gave her company.

I’ve seen her brand on social media before and I actually considered purchasing it until I watch reviews on UA-cam about it. A lot of people say it’s awkward and unflattering to walk in when it’s flat and the stiletto style is wobbly. So I didn’t end up purchasing. Maybe if they tweak it a bit, I’d be more into trying it

Shoe and apparels business in general is too difficult to get into. Fashion designers get paid big bucks at fashion houses for a reason. Not having enough designs and styles limits your audience and sales, having too many stresses your manufacturing and ups your cost. Not to mention I feel anybody spending more than $100 for a pair of heels will probably want some brand recognition or at the very least some assurance that the pair will last, and nobody knows how long these will last. It’s a nice concept, but probably not very marketable like many cool kickstarter concepts.
