Sorry for the slow reply. I wanted to think about the things to say to this for awhile. I really didn't come up with anything beyond by initial thoughts of... 1. Are you shooting a pullshot? If so, are you ever stubbing the ball? if not, you should... it should be pulled across and back just a bit, to where it gets a nice squeeze out of the shot. That motion leaves a streak on the table vs. a "dot" where it left from. If you send me a video of a bunch of shots in a row I'll review it.
Hey, got your question on my comments page, but I don't know how to reply on there... Cool, so it sounds like you finished them all? Yeah, at some point I'll be adding some new foosball stuff. During the winter I focus on snowboarding a lot more than foos, so most likely in the summer and fall is when I'll have new foos stuff out.
Thanks, I guess I was just trying to focus on the different stance and grip too much. I am just practicing shooting straight with it and wasn't getting much power. I'll try the actual pullshot and see if it feels more natural. Side note, I've found this stance doesn't work at all for 1on1 play, as the time to rotate to the other set of bars is way too long. Is this just for 2v2 play?
As a beginner, the only way I seem to be able to get any power is through the open hand shot. I've practiced this positioning, but can't seem to get any power out of it. What am I doing wrong?
