- Replacing my 2013 Accord's deteriorated window weatherstrip using only the plastic trim removal tool. Part II - The backdoor
Since I am replacing the entire assembly and don't have the pick/hook tool, I decided to break the main clip that holds the set in place. This allows me to replace the set easily by sliding out the assembly after the main clip is released.
FYI, the main clip could be removed easily if you have a pick/hook tool.
Just be careful with the new sets' main clip if you are using aftermarket one.
OEM Part numbers: Cost around $300 for a set of 4 if buying from Honda

Thanks this helps a lot i have a 2013 Honda accord sport and the back left window rubber is a mess
Thank you for this
Very helpful. Thanks
You need a wide tool for getting loose the main clip.
Great videos TY
I got new ones and they will not lock in on the end (left side) any suggestions? It’s like there’s nothing there for it to click in to
Is the new ones okay?
@@notreallyabook1969 I rewatched your video and moved my clips towards the left and it snapped right in! Thanks!
