- One of my best friends got this 1998 GMC 1500SL short box regular cab for virtually no money. We walk around and check it out and compare differences between this and a modern truck. I also evacuated and recharged the air conditioning system for him to see how it works. This is a fantastic truck he got a great shake on it!

I bought my 98 truck brand new in 98 and it had those same wheels so yes those are the correct wheels
Thanks for the info I thought maybe the SL version came with the steel painted Wheels with the Chrome trim rings and the black plastic center caps.

Those wheels are correct. The C1500 had those wheels he has and the 4wd has what your suburban has. Plus your wheels are 6 lug and his are 5 lug. 4wd 6 lug and 2wd 5 lug.
You know what I totally forgot about that I just remember seeing that particular style on like 88-91. But now that I think about it I guess most of the two-wheel drives had this style of wheel.
I agree they are making the trucks way too high, the engine bay included. You have to be shaq to be able to work on them
Yeah I had to buy one of those aluminum work planks to work on my newer stuff. It's totally ridiculous really
Antifreeze is not all the same. Try mixing that dexcool with the green and see what happens
Well that's what the guy at the oil supplier said. I've never mixed them together but I've heard a lot of mechanics talk bad about dexcool.
