Hi mate, nice review.. btw! on your cinematic b-roll of the female model @0:51 while she was on the van, did you use any plug-ins for the effects , etc?
Excellent video review as usual! Looks like you accepting those harsh comment from previous videos that judging your wardrobe choice. As a man of cultute, I prefer your previous wardrobe choice 😁
Thanks! Don't worry, I absolutely haven't been listening to those cock wobbles. However, the outfit choice was decided upon as it fit better with the style of the shoot, which is more important to me than actively trying to give the subs a boner 😂
@@TomCalton I recently checked your comparison videos. But I didn't find the information I need. As you compared both samyang & viltrox 35mm f1.8 with sony fe 35mm f1.8 , you are experienced with both samyang & viltrox's pros & flaws. So let you suggest me with which one I should go for ? Is it samyang or is it viltrox ? (If I had budget, I'd go for sony, but I don't have😅). I'm hoping for your answer 😊
There's a fairly big difference in what is required of the lens and camera when shooting in video mode vs photo. In video mode, the AF just needs to track the subject as it moves around the frame. In photo mode, it needs to react quickly in between each photo to ensure that the focus is in the right place ready for the next shot. It has much less time to react and the focus HAS to be bang on otherwise it's super noticeable. Video is far more forgiving, which is why a lot of lenses struggle in photo mode but are better in video mode.
I think you are mistaken. The body gets cold to touch, which is the typical tell tale sign that it's metal. Also, it's listed as having a dust and moisture resistant design on the Sony website: www.sony.co.uk/electronics/camera-lenses/sel35f18f#product_details_default

Waiting also for this review.
hey great video 😊 ! what will you recommend , Samyang 35 mm or viltrox? which is the better one
Would u trade a Sony 35mm f2.8 Zeiss for a Viltrox 35mm f1.8?
Would like to see you pair Zeiss 35mm 1.4 vs Samyang 35 1.4 V2
Thanks for the request. Maybe in an upcoming video 👍🏻
as always, your test is very informative
Amazing work! Would you mind telling me how you did this effect? 0:32
I’d appreciate it!

How it compares to Samyang 35/1.8 AF? Could be another interesting review ;)
The Samyang 35mm f/1.8 is on the test list 👍🏻
@@TomCalton keen to see this comparison as I'm looking at a 35mm and most reviews are positive for the Samyang

suka sama modelnya. semoga vidio2 berikutnya pake model ini lebih sering muncul.
Do you know what your settings were for AF in photo and video modes? Which camera were you shooting with?
Sony A7III. AF-C
Хороший обзор , благодарен за ваши старания :)
Great video but best bit for me was the balls commentary
Thanks brother 🏐🏐
I don't understand why the video AF on the Viltrox seems to do just fine but in photo mode a ton of the shots are out of focus.

You could shoot Amber with a Sears and Robuck 20 dollar lens and she would still look amazing. I envy you. Lol
Can't argue with that - she's awesome!
Also unless I'm mistaken I don't actually think the Sony has a metal build or full weather sealing

Sony wins and says:(budget is king bro, minimal focus distance is my selling point☺️☺️☺️)

Thumbnail got resting B face.
Thats a very Sexy van Tom..Oh yes, good stuff on the lenses too.
