Grazie, Maestro!
Smaller organ, great acoustic, magnificent playing - more than enough!
❤️❤️❤️
This was one of the first organ works I ever heard on the radio when I was a teenager. And this magnificent performance brings me back to my youth.
Wonderful
MAGNIFICENT!!!
Must have been the camera angle, a few times I thought I saw a smile! That's what Bach does to me!---That church sure looks old.
Hoffentlich bleiben uns die Kirchen mit ihren phantastischen Orgeln erhalten. Hier das beste Beispiel.
Absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your artistry with us once again Jonathan and also to Tom for the way he captures the beauty of that lovely church.
Musikzu hören, wie diese ist. WieMedizin für die Seele
Thank you, gentlemen, for the lovely music.
I have it figured out. Short haircuts for baroque organs and longer haircuts for Engish cathedral organs and compositions. Very simple, very easy. ;)
Belle composition🙂👍👍👨👩👦👦
There are none that are better overall than the Two of You!! Thanks, as always, for sharing your immense talents! It seems as though we are more & more in need of them. PLAY ON BROTHERS!!👏😁🎹🎼🎶🎵🎹❣♥💜👏🖖✌👏
Musicality unsurpassed - beautiful performance and great sounding organ!
Incredible! What a beautiful sound that little organ has! In fact, Tom managed to capture everything very well: your wonderful performance, a beautiful church and the magnificent little organ! Thank you both for everything!
Beautiful Church and organ wonderful performance.
Thank you Jonathan and Tom for another brilliant presentation.
Beautiful playing
Beautifully played Jonathan. Thank you for sharing. 😀😀
Very beautiful sound!
The St. Joseph's Bach concert and the Bach concert from the Bridgewater Hall "book end" each other perfectly. From Chicago, U.S.A.
❤🤗🌺
Wonderful played Jonathan!😁👏👏👏👏
Magnificent, thank you very much!
So talented. Thank you, beautifully played 😊
Whoever was born to be a snake will never be a worm. Wonderful, Jonathan. Beautiful images, Tom. They are preparing to reach 100,000 subscribers to the channel. Uhuuu... 👍🙌🎶❤️🙏🙋🏻♀️😘🎵🎶
Amazing music and fantastic organist !
Beautiful vigorous playing. What a fabulous instrument.
I didnt expect to see an AGO pedal board. Well done, none the less.
Well the curved pedal board was a Willis invention
Wonderfully played🍃thank you
Such a wonderful way to begin my day. I awoke to Glucks Melodie (Orfeo Ed Euridice), playing in my head, and have been in a good mood ever since. I am trying to commit my favorite melodies to memory so I can carry them with me where ever I go. Thanks again you two. xx
Thanks for the "Thumbs-Up"! xx
I always thought I couldn't really play because of the small organ, but that's the proof that I just have to practise!😅
Wonderful recording of an amazing piece of music!😍
Прекрасно!!!
Bravissimi!
I think that the music is up lifting
Bravo les frères Scott! C'est tout à fait magnifique!
Wonderful Bach & played on such a beautiful little organ. Great to see another brilliant video from the concert at St Joseph's. I needed a little lift today, so thank you both for that.
Oops, I think that I should comment on this performance. Very well done, and the editing is marvelous as well. Thanks! xx
Me gusta, sobre todo por la ejecución de la obra tan límpia y precisa!! Excelente!! Gracias y enhorabuena!! 👏👏💖
Это прекрасно👍❤
Fabulous performance! Thanks for posting it. I think it would be interesting to hear a performance of the concerto in its original form (violin and orchestra) and then revisit the organ transcription version. I've heard the organ version hundreds of times, but I've never heard the original version.
01:28 There's a chordal descent right here. The repeated 4 note phrase is repeated at 1/2 step lower, rather than Bach's usual full step descent. Gives it a more modern sounding resolution. I wonder if that is the same in the original Ernst concerto. Tell me if I'm wrong
It's pretty sad that Johann Ernst died so young. He could've become a very talented composer, judging by Bach's organ transcriptions of his concertos.
