That much lift like that photo would kill your mpg though. I get 22 23 average mpg in my gladiator stock max tow. Switching to aluminum wheels for the summer to reduce weight and gain beefier tires.
I have seen a few rav4 builds from overseas, hoping some of those mods make it to the states. Saw something that was a bug/wind shield for the hood with integrated lights that looked interesting.
Definitely one of the perks of living in Southern California--you can drive 2 hours in any direction and end up at the beach, in the desert, up in the mountains and forest, or the center of a metropolis! Thanks for checking out the entire video
Thank you for checking it out. The RAV gets compared to the Crosstrek all the time--my goal is to get everyone to start confusing the Crosstrek for a Rav4 😉
Oh and do you have any problem with the ground clearence or angle of approach with the rav4 adventure? im trying to decide that or forester haha sorry for all the questions
Love your content man. Getting my First car in the next coming weeks and it’s Forsure going to be the adventure rav4. What kind of tire is that & size ?? I been thinking of getting 255/R5518 nitro ridge grapplers but I’m not sure if they’re going to fit . Any suggestions? & also the tire size of yours ?? Need help 🙏 thank you
Does anyone have any recommendations on a lift kit for a 2010 Toyota rav4? I have so far found that readylift makes one that could work but I wanna hopefully do a spring upgrade lift but anything anyone can help with would be great
Sena Knowles no the Eibach is much more superior to the ready lift. The ready lift is a spacer which means it’s more for aesthetics than it is for performance
dylan lam yeah that seems to be the case with element. I have been looking at diode dynamics and Baja Designs to revamp my lighting-especially with my new prinsu sponsorship-but they are insanely expensive
@UCavkK-MaLAv0IYLSn6ADyrA sorry to hear that man. You have a pretty sick rig imo. I used to be part of the Socal Yota group when I had my taco back then and theres a lot of bs drama involve in those groups sometimes and just seems toxic to me so I feel ya man. My wife is planning on getting the new Rav hopefully before the end of the year and I'm helping her with this build and make it our next adventure/ overland vehicle. You have my support and probably gonna bug you with some questions here and there as the build goes Cheers my dude
Hey Danny! Its Marc! Siick video Danny!! Love it! Staying posted and hopefully we could get a collab or better yet, trail together sometime in the near future. Subscribed
Thanks for subbing! We'll definitely need to hit a trail soon--we'll keep posted in the various mtn_roo and subie group chats you guys always have going on haha
@@DannyRocksteady that or I'll make time to hit u up in the DMs so we can make something happen! 😁 One of my homies loves the new rav4s so I'm sure he'd love to join us 👌
Danny - thank you for your videos on your Eibach springs. Can I ask, as of April 2021, how everything is holding up? Any issues since this Jan 2020 update? Thank you in advance.
Highly unlikely if I had to guess--the actual consumer market for a kit like that on a rav4 would be very niche and would likely not justify the R&D costs associated for them to make it happen.
If there are any rav4 buddies here in az let me know, I look forward to going on some trails together!! #Rav4Nessie !
I'll take the yota

dustinmcd91 the pull out table from the hatch is one of the coolest mods I’ve seen from overseas that I’m hoping find it’s way to the states
Looks like a fun day with friends. It’s nice you have dirt around you can drive on. The shot with all the vehicles lined up was great.

Just rolling with the subies. I like that you are using a Rav4 it’s different and not normally used in this way so that is super cool
Does the your new tire fit in factory spare spot? I have the 2019 and getting max use out of factory wheels/tires before I lift. Thanks for video.
No it doesn’t
Nice video 👍🏼. Love the Subaru rides.. I thought you’re Toyota was a crosstrek for a minute lol.

Thanks for making videos my wife n I plan on buying the trdoffroad trim level.
Thanks for watching! I have a lot of new content and how-to's coming soon hope you guys like it!

Do these springs act as a lift, but with better suspension? Can you use these with a lift kit?
The springs are a lift kit
@@DannyRocksteady from the video it sounds like you wished it was lifted even higher? How many inches do the springs lift?
@@vollkenheimer about 2”. There’s a whole video about the springs on my channel as well. Here’s the link:

I just. ordered this Eibach lift, should I do the ready lift instead? I have a TRD RAV4

looks like micropods went out of business. i was gonna copy your ditch light set up. your rav4 is my inspiration! Im going to put on sparcos soon!

Any of you guys running 16 or 15 inch wheels?
16” is the smallest that will clear on the new Rav4
Do you ever go offroading with some local yota heads out there?
