It is a sensible suggestion to start using the 300 billion dollars of off shore funds to support Ukraine. The principle that you can't invade another country is the most important international rule of all. And that you will pay the price if you do, is fair. In fact essential.
Can we please stop saying invading and use the word conquer? I know it may seem silly, but using invade only highlights the hypocrisy given that Bush didnt bother getting his Iraq adventure approved by the UN. By using conquer, we can at least make a clear distinction still...

Well allegedly they are making a billion per day front oil alone.
That's 365. Billion alone, pretty almost half of that goes straight to the state. The US Federal budget was recently a bit over 1 trillion.
So the Russian state which has a much smaller population seems to be intaking maybe 50-100billion annually from oil alone. (10% the recent US budget, with half the population so maybe 20% of Russian budget).
The other 80% of the budget, which would make it on par with the US spending, would need to be accumulated from other taxable thing or state owned exports.
Thing is. Russia doesn't spend as much as the US. So that 50-100billion they get might be 40-50% their budget.
I see now online Russian annular budget 2022 370billion usd. The US spent over a trillion usd in 2024.
So Russia is spending a 3rd or less of what US does and 15-30% of it comes from just oil.
So Russia only needs to "tax" 250-300 billion to remain DEBT neutral from the central bank, operating a budget that doesn't inflate more rapidly than exports.
They call that a deficit.
Sooo do we think Russia can keep exporting 350billion in all exports every year?
If the US can run a deficit for 50+ years would it stand to reason that Russia can run a deficit for a while as well?

Today Estonia passed the necessary laws to allow the frozen Russian bank assets to be seized and used to compensate Ukraine for war damage by Russia.

Big time. I go to Calabria every year and this past 5 years, many chinese stores (nearly large supermarket size) have popped up often 3 within a 2 mile stretch. Corruption at its best by Italian power holders and all heavely subsidized by Chna. Many small local owned stores out of business.
Word ! The US trade deficit with china is even worse, 3:1 in 2023.
We should all boycott Chinese products. I do. And I don't mean only all the cheap junk that we don't need anyway, or doesn't last long. I also mean our mobile phones, computers, cars. All those products can be found produced in other countries, and they don't have to be expensive. And they probably last longer, thus saving any price difference.
Yes , 💯 % I've been telling that to people for years, China will use the money against us , but some people only care about their selfs and their cheep phones
