I went home with the Triumph.... It is not a fast bike... tops out at around 100MPH... But that is true to the Scrambler heritage. It is one of the most fun bikes I have ever ridden. Sounds amazing, carves the canyons better than a sports bike, total comfort, hits the dirt really surprisingly good.... LOVE IT!
Guys, I’m a little late to comment on this tread but I’d like to point out where you seriously missed the heritage on one of these bikes. The BMW is a throwback to 1941! with the R75. By far the oldest heritage bike. One more thing. You should have done a test to stop these in public and ask passers by their favourite. Have you seen peoples reactions to the BMW?? It would be nice to know with all of them present
The triumph has the posibility to change the cam shaft from TEC bike and with some other small changes aid filter, decat you can up the performance 30% so basically nearly as powerful as the 1200 motor from the thruxton. The 900 has so much potencial left in the engine otherwise it's too close to their 1200.
Triumph to me is the best looking. Sounding and Cool. I really like the scrambler, But no longer practical for me now. Getting old and always have the misses pillying with me. Its great sharing the experiance of the rides. But these are no pillion bikes and she,s happy not being a rider. otherwise i would have matt green and black. What a cool looking bike.
Great video. Hope you do a lot more of those comparissons.. I dont know why, but I always end loving those old school looking bikes. Like the Kawasaki Z900RS
BMW prices in USA are hysterical. The winner is the Triumph for sure. Only because I can't see riding that little Ducati for more than an hour. And in many states in USA, even decent fire roads are a couple hours away. If you dont want a KLR 650 :-)
lee macdonald I’m 6’3 and I ride a triumph street scrambler everyday, it is phenomenally comfortable and has a lot more pep than they let on but it also has 3 modes for riding that allow you to tailor the pep to your comfort level. I often find myself putting it in the off-road mode because it turns off the ABS and traction control.
I am so close to pulling the trigger on a 2019 Triumph Street Scrambler. Anyone thoughts?? Have. A bike today, but looking for something a bit nicer and bigger.
Bro, pull that trigger. Got deal on mine, $10,200 out the door. I've had mine for over a month and I love it. Best all around bike. My old bike was a Bonneville T100.
In my experience its to much power for first time rider. I made that mistake and bought 90 hp hornet as a first bike. U have so much power but 0 experience, my luck is that i didnt kill myself or anyone else, but looking back now i would take some cheap second hand bike with max 50hp(guzzi v7 or kawa w650) for at least 3-6 months. There is a lot to learn when u are beginner and its easier to correct mistakes if u are going slower on lighter bike. Best of luck
rockafella1690 Hehe, practically speaking, South Africa unfortunately has many crime issues to deal with so I dont think anyone cares about the beers in a YT review. Here in Europe a reputable reviewer would not be showing alcohol in their bike review...cause it would cause a scheit-storm :) Personally, I have zero tollerance for boozing and then riding/driving.
I kind of think your missing the point. These bikes are all about street cool and basically just messing around on. Certainly not for off road. Ps the bmw is king of cool and will hold its money way more than the others. Just my opinion 👍🏼 no heritage for the bmw, it’s based on the oldest engine out of any of them .
Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But what on earth has not needing to buy "ugly girls drinks" got to do with anything about an ugly bike? the theory you gave is completely illogical.

I'd still prefer the Ducati. It's the lightest.

I think it was close in price to the Ducati here in the US... I just really liked it better ;-)
At that price the Trumpet wins all day long.
Steve McQueen raced a Triumph Scrambler in the ISDT. That alone makes it the coolest.
Definitely. 👍 Triumph gets my vote.
I love mine !
McQueen is overrated.
For retro styling Triumph, For practicality Ducati, For power and speed BMW.
BMW hands down. Best looking, most power and modern technique combined with this beautiful retro look.
I road a Triumph like that on the trails at Lake Tahoe in the 70s absolutely loved it.
They all chosed the bike with less hp. It is the delivery what counts!

good work lads! Appreciate the job you've done
Yep...and the bottom line is the Triumph is the prettiest.
Oh yes ! Triumph defo 😁😁
Rim & Rubber. Is it a fetish club?
The Triumph Street Scrambler looks & sounds so good... 👊😎👍
mark dark could be the other way round.

Ducati all day long
Thanks for the review , 🥤

bmw r75.5 was a brilliant off road bike. It was a road bike, but off road, brilliant through the Aussie interior in the 60/70
I like both the Triumph and Ducatti

Where can I get the triumph Scrambler for R109 000 ?...please tell me🙏

I am thinking about buying a scrambler, would it be suitable for a 6"3 rider?

I'd feel like a poseur on one of these bikes. The idea of a scrambler is that it is home brewed.
For style...the Triumph...for value...the Ducati...for laughs...the beemer
Would you recommend buying the BMW as a first time rider? Or is it to bulky for a beginners bike

Thank you very much made a choice to buy a kwasaki versys 650 with abs. big enough buy yet forgiving.
yamaha xsr 900...simply the best!
I'll take the KTM 690 SMC 👍🏻
Some grandpas....its a fact that nobody can beat germans in automobile engineering....
I would go with the triumph all day. The only thing is I’m torn with the 900 or 1200.
For best comparison try the Ducati 1100 special at least. And the 1200 for the Triumph. Cheers Amigos...
How has the BBC not put these guys on tv yet?
when the come to the price point i was completely confused where they are from😅
I think south Africa
You guys should do a video on the best 125cc
900cc and the T only put out 55hp... Meh.
whats the war you mentioned at the triumph ?
im not from sa sorry
I'd say, it's a reference to a Fawlty Towers sketch
Fritz Kühne o
How about the boxer engine design for some real heritage
Only in good old SA...bike review with beers on the table :)...and one big draught :)
Urban Touring Is that legal? 🤔

I love the way he calls out 'more beers bring more beer'. They don't seem to be drinking much so if its all done in fun.. great. Sod the PC!
The KTM rider bombing the shot, lol
All of these guys pick the most gutless bike of the bunch. LOL.
Drinking and driving, tut tut.
Well done chaps! :-)
His *HAIR*
So the BMW F800 wins, then?

Pick the one that's actually made in Europe.
Yeah, nahhhhh ... I'll take an ADV (Africa Twin) or a Dual Sport (FE 301/501), thanks ...
For me...
1. Triumph
2. BMW
3. Ducati
Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But what on earth has not needing to buy "ugly girls drinks" got to do with anything about an ugly bike? the theory you gave is completely illogical.
I'll take S1000XR!
Only if Chris McNeil rides it. ua-cam.com/video/yemiO6buqE4/v-deo.html
杜卡迪 才是这三台车里最有趣的。其余两台骑着非常无聊。
Looks like beggers ...just borrows bikes to make videos ... jahahahahahahhahaha
