  • Full Custom Ian Roussel Fabricates a Rail Using a Hydraulic Tube Bender! Part 1.
Watch as Ian finds out that the tube bender isn't always his friend and he has to trouble shoot the hydraulic bender to make the rail. He fabricates a rail for his dune buggy after a lot of messing around 🏎🤯😡. Ian soon finds out the shop gremlins decided to create havoc on a Sunny Monday in the shop, not only with the bender, but our electronics! Ian finally is able to get the thing fixed and goes into his theory of angles on the buggy. Blue and Lil make a surprise appearance and quickly run away, and Jamie talks about her cowboy boots 🤠😂. Ian eventually uses a hammer to fix the bender and Jamie learns that working in the shop is not all it's cracked up to be! Follow along on the adventure.
✅Set those notifications so you can keep up on Ian's projects. He speaks about his newest one briefly and if you watched the short you'll get a sneak peek at the next project! So stay tuned!

I prefer the longer videos also. But.... if I don't watch it all in one shot... say I fall asleep and come back to it later to finish it. Does it show you that or does it simply say I didn't watch it's entirety?
And FYI I've heard those called
      Baja side bars
      Baja nerf bars
      Baja bash bars
In the Jeep/truck rock crawler world they're called rock sliders. Keep the back edge round or obtuse so you don't catch on rocks and trees. Keep it "not too narrow" so an obstacle doesn't ram your tire and it keeps said obstruction off your bodywork or in your case.... your thigh meat.
      Kind of like.... limb risers.

You show the average person ( like me ) The amazing results that can be accomplished using basic tools and methods in fabrication .... The buggy is looking fine.
Square and round tube together IS the way we did it in the 60s and 70s here. Only because that's what we could scrounge up.
Anyone who had everything all pretty and matched had more money than we did.
I miss a buggy. I still have a tube-frame sitting around but "my" frame can't handle the ride anymore. Ahh to be young and in better shape again...
As for video length... I don't get what's so difficult about watching a long video. You can pause it! How novel.
Plus if you sign in on ewetoob it will pickup on at the point you left off with a video, if you close it.
How did people ever handle a movie on the old fashioned video tape machines or even those new-fangled DVDs?
Nice to see happy pups running around. :)

Data Nerds Unite! I love increasing my understanding of people, especially as they interact with the web. I am especially interested in how our attention spans for content continues to decrease. "TikTok Brain" is a real thing! I was delighted to see this video run length at 20 minutes, just short enough to watch before bedtime. Thanks Ian and Jamie! Love your content!

Yes roll bar protection keeps from running over yourself LoL. I used to use gas welding rod as a pattern to get my bends for brake lines. it looks like you need some electrical outlet drops for each piece of equipment and your bench. Typical shop inspectors in training I presume. They came they saw and they went somewhere else. Lol. cool video it's working take care stay warm and baton down anything that will fly.

Smaller diameter steering wheel might help. Glad you're doing the UA-cam thing now; seen all your TV stuff,
[which was great!] but these days I'm happy to just sit in the back room on the computer, cos everything on TV
is shit! [just the opinion of a 73 y.o. grumpy old man, who's still not too old to learn stuff.] Keep posting; I'm diggin' it!!!!

Was a mechanic in the last ice-age! ...a while back and your work takes me back to many Great memories. I am gratefull for you continuing your excellent work. Remembering when you first experienced the making of those Bubble-cars and you finally made the roofs ( bubbles)
And made a beautiful car in the End! A car no one else ever had or probably Has.
Looking forward to the future with you Ian, take care, Aussie chris 🇦🇺
