- Northwest Territories Bound
Episode Eight
Join me as I ride from Vermilion Bay, Ontario to Yellowknife, Northwest Territories on my little 2012 883!
Riding Southward through Alberta, on my way back to Northwest Ontario! It’s warming up and the long days of riding are taking a bit of a toll on me. Hopefully I can find a nice lake to cool off in!
Check out fellow Canadian @WhiteLineRambler !
Just amazing , every day drive this long distances -> you dispose over a strong will , good condition and a very reliable sportster 883 🙂
Hey fresca Gal!! enjoyed your video very much. Looks like some of them wooden bridges you crossed around the 3 minute mark would be very tricky if it was raining and that mud was caked on . Laura your videos are so good its almost as im there with you almost can smell the roses and hear all the bugs buzzing!! Thanks for sharing again as always be safe!!
The weather and the leaves are turning, soon be time for a winter's rest from riding. I can watch this to keep me inspired. Happy Thanksgiving. 👍🏼
You got some great shots in this video!
Looks like it was an amazing area and great day riding! There is nothing better than being able to throw down miles and enjoy the world around us!
Keep it up!
You have the soul of a true motorcyclist, I always feel rushed when Riding...you seem to just go with the flow, I was listening to Colter Wall today in the truck when your video popped up. Thanks for the shout out in your video, hope you liked 88...to bad I wasn't around when you came though...
✌😎✌
Thanks again for suggesting it!! I really appreciate it. 😊
Nice to see You on the Road Laura 👍 greetings from Germany
George
Good day Laura! I liked the video, I always watch it and enjoy the beautiful nature and the road. Thank you Laura for your good mood!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🌲🌲🌲🌲🍵🌹🌹🌹🌹
Thank you! You too!
Nice balance between pretty country, cool bike and pretty Laura. Music background sets a good mood as well. If I need to calm my heart rate, I could watch your videos.
Glad you enjoyed it! And thanks for the comment. 😊

SPORTSTER ADDICT ❤❤❤❤
Rider …. Rider… my Angel. Great ton take a swimming jiji
Just crossed the 3000 mile mark on day 7 of my 16 day motorbike trip and can't think of a better way to finish out the evening than watching this!
Right on!! I love hearing that! I hope your ride has been nothing short of incredible. 😀
@lauradanielle1991 Indeed it has. Started from home in Kentucky and hit The 3 Twisted Sisters, Big Bend NP, Swift Junction Parkway, Coronado Trail, bunch of stuff near Grand Canyon. Next couple days will be Utah Route 12, Million Dollar Highway, and more. Already done a lot and still have more than a week left off work, so it's very nice.
Hi Laura another enjoyable video Thank you I always like watching your videos very calming & relaxing great scenery along your trip Looking forward to your next video Be safe out there Ridin in the Wind Take care 😎😎
Thanks so much 😊
Always looking forward for your next adventure 👍
That makes me happy to hear. Thanks for saying!
Love your vidros and spirit
Thanks!! ☺️
The swims really looked refreshing after all the miles done 😊😊
You’ve got that right!
Another great video, Laura. Stay safe out there! :)
Thank you! Will do!
I was going to mention about another UA-camr that I subscribed too that lives up in that country and had did a video on a trip into NWT a little while ago and all of a sudden you give a shout out to White Line Rambler. Thought that was pretty cool.
Those swims looked refreshing, still hot here. Waiting for my wife to return from a hiking trip so I can get out and get my 600 miles in on the new Africa Twin so I can get the service out of the way and be ready to go. Waiting for a bunch of stuff for the AT too, seems there is still supply chain issues with bike parts. Anyway looking forward to your next one!
Excellent!
Thank you! Cheers! ☕️
Really enjoying sharing your adventures accross Canada. I don't know if you've watched the Red Rider channel, but if you'd like to see another young Canadian lady biker from BC, Angel is a lot of fun. She's a little more gabby than you, but I suspect she and you would get along like a house on fire. Anyhoo, the season's just about done, and the days are getting short, so have a good winter, and take care of yourself.
Looks like beautiful country. Maybe I’m in the minority, but I miss the old school typewriter as part of the intro. Thanks again for sharing.
Hmmm…. I’ll remember that for my next trip! 😀
Still loving your adventure, I hade a scare coming home frome a ride om 2024-09-25 from Earles Cove. My battery backed up and I have to get a towtruck. The driver got my bike started but sayd I needed a new battery, not bat for being six years old. I head home with the toe truck following incase my bike packed out again. I broke out on Redroof alone. The rain was pouring at this time and really black out. I was in an area way you had to wath out for dears so I was only driving about 20 Mile an our, but slowed down to abuot 10 Miles to check if my high beam were on. At this time I was struck by something, but I didn't see anything. I was struck in my left ankle quite severely that my bie forced me from the center to the right side of the road. Again I coulded see any thing andturned around to see what I hit. Couldn't see anything so I just went home. I checked my bike and didn't find any damage at this time. I charged my battery up and it barely started but I got to my bike business. I as standing to my left site when I saw a large dent on my gas tank. The only thing I imagine is I was struck by a bear. They are around right now. Funny thing is there is a warning for bears crossing at this area were I was struck. I thing I was hit by a bear? A couple of days later while I was walking my dog, standerd Poodle. we were in the say area and looking across the way ther was two bear cubs palying to gather.in a large lot.Bretty funny! My ankle is still sore. Have another great day.😊
as always PEACE from a motorcyclist in Connecticut, USA.
PEACE!! Thanks for watching.
Thanks!
Wow, thank you!!! I’ll put that towards a delicious cup of hot coffee on my next ride. Cheers! ☕️
@@lauradanielle1991 I would have preferred to do the full amount for a set of Rok Straps. The bungee cords with the gasoline cans will not end well. (and just fyi, I have no financial interest in Rok Straps. They are just a great product.
👍
✌️
Thank you, Laura
Thanks for tuning in!
yes!!!
👍
Love the videos! How comfortable is the Sportster on these long trips? Have you done any upgrades - seat, pegs etc?
A real shame you had to ride through all that smoke. Sorry to see you heading east again, but all good things must end. And your miles to the great Northwest have been enchanting. Those wooden bridge decks make me nervous, especially when wet. I was in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan this week. The wind was howling. They were surfing in Lake Michigan! Water temp 43 degrees air temp 52. (6 and 11 Degrees in Canadian!) You looked comfortable in your swim, Michiganders looked crazy!!
Wow! That’s wild!! Sounds a just a little chilly. 🥴
😎👍

Texan here and you've ridden Texas so would know. Are the legal speed limits just a lot lower up north?
