  • This is the Metallica I will always remember since I first saw them live back in 1992. It still sucks that Jason left, but it also saved Metallica (once again) in a weird way...

It's heartbroken to see them laughs together... Jason was my favorite guy in the band.

  • @Coltsniper1106

To this day Jason is still “the” bass player of Metallica

  • @MetaITurtle

Jason was in the band to help Metallica and when he wanted to be taken more seriously. Its almost like they still expected him to just stay as the guy who would only do what he was told and help out when needed. But Jason was way more than that. He was a song writter and even a lyricist. He wrote songs before in his previous band. It would have been cool to see more of Jasons ideas in Metallica songs

Cliff’s death was an accident. But all the BS they put Jason through was uncalled for. Jason was so perfect for Metallica. Trullio just doesn’t fit. I don’t care how long he’s been with the band

  • @floriangeyer1886

Metallica lost its heart and soul when Jason left.

  • @bukofezra

Jason's energy, charisma, intensity, talent, and monster vocals cannot be replaced. He was a beast and I miss him in Metallica. Rob is also talented, but Jason's demonic vocals are unrivaled.

  • @shaneb203

    Jason is Metallica

  • @trooper1972

Jason is a legend , gave it all for the band ,and got betrayed..........................

  • @MikePScott624

He is my favorite and rob still seems outta place imo. Miss jason

"and justice for all" is the best metal album ever made!!

  • @Scotty_Russell_Music

every time super young jason naively and possibly a little insensitively said "it's like a dream come true" you can hear the other 3 thinking "fuck you, who are you, why aren't you Cliff"

  • @koolsometimes

It's really a shame that they treated him that way. I am a lifelong fan of the band and IMHO if he hadn't been there with that energy they may have not turned out to be the mega band that they are today because the grief would have consumed them. At least Lars, James, and Kirk have seen the error in their ways and have reached out to Jason to try and make things right. As always Jason being who he is has been a really good example as to why it's good to forgive and forget.

Jason newsted completed that band again. They were so lucky to have found a guy like him after the tragedy they had with cliff. They totally took it for granted and it killed off the bands spirit

  • @leagueofshadows

I truly miss JN. He was one stoic, tough bastard 😅 and what talent. I just wish he has no regrets because honestly soeaking his time with tallika aka MACH 2 will live on forever long after we all shadows and dust. Future generations 2040 AD onwards will always look at Metallica as a whole AFTER they have retired. Just mark my words. JN should know his time in the band is and was forever immortal ❤😂😅

  • @73rayneman

    We all want Jason back.

  • @kirkcruz9721

    Wish he never left

  • @beyondthehorizon75

I've admired Rob since his Suicidal Tendencies days starting in 1991, so I mean absolutely no disrespect to him, but I cannot look at him as

  • @blurpledragon2779

Jason and James did Creeping Death better than any !!!!!!! Their vocals complimented each other perfectly !!

  • @GodeCynningaz5386

It must have been such a crazy trip for Jason to go from fan to member of the band.
