That unity to alley-oop TP at 4:07 was a thing of beauty. Nice job being intentional about what you want to accomplish -- I need to do that more often.

Mans puttin in the work. Good stuff. The struggle to get a trick is what makes it so satisfying, in my opinion. Pushing yourself to do something you didn't think you could do is exhilarating!

Back to blading syndrome, yes I have this disease! I don't get near enough time to skate, and it's frustrating I can't do what I want to do, so I end up playing with my setups, buying new wheels and frames, eyeing off new skates. I think because I can't get out to skate, playing with my setup feels adjacent to skating and scratches the itch a little. But also trying to find that goldilocks setup!

Factions have been an amazing overall skate and have allowed me to get close to where I was when I was blading. With a 10-year break and getting back into it, these skates have given me confidence in my tricks again!

How dare you imply that skating well requires practise! It's new boot time forever and that's the end of it... Jokes aside, had a real nice flow to this edit. Great work!!

its really cool to see people getting back into skating (boards and blades) way later in life. i messed around a little bit with skating as a kid and had a really good time and felt like i was getting pretty good but my mom wouldn't get me a pair of my own so i eventually quit because my buddy got annoyed i was always asking to borrow his skates haha... i feel the same about skateboarding too, in my head i can still 360 flip but in reality i'm nowhere close to landing one haha

It’s a real struggle even after only few weeks off. The confidence lvl drop but your brain sees you doing it. I away struggle to find that back torque balance but when I do it opens up a lot more tricks.

Whilst you did most of the tricks and did them well, they looked like a struggle and dare I say it I think it was the equipment! They look super stiff which I know can be good but almost too stiff? You looked much more at home on 909’s or Cults and you have them sitting right there, maybe try them for one session with a similar list of tricks and see how you get on?
