I don’t support companies outside skating (energy suppliers, banks etc) that behave like Razors. The list of bad decisions they have made over the years has convinced me there is always another skate than theirs I can skate! Terrible company 😂

@@coreyenglish8706 If you do try the downsize on the Cults and they end up being a little too snug at the front, they're the perfect boot for a toe cut! I've toe cut all my razors and they fit amazingly and that's going down 1 and a half sizes!
I just switched from 909s to aeons. I think it's a far superior skate. I'm not very happy my intuitions dont fit but I can deal with the 2nd skins. I took out the heal pads for a $14 insole, added some sliqks (which is very necessary) and put some super bullet wheels on. I feel like these skates are half the weight of my 909s. I had groin issues for the last 6 months and they went away right after I switched. It might be worth dusting off an old pair, adding some sliqks and giving them another chance.
As someone who doesn't grind much (and if I do it's always at a park on coping) Aeons are definitely my favorite skate. The lowness and weight makes transition and jumps in general seem so much more comfortable. So I definitely agree 😂

I missed your videos so much! Awesome to see you back! I got back into inline skating last year with a pair of Cults but started picking up on all the awesome stuff brands like Them and Mesmer were doing in the community that I ended up picking up 2 pairs of Thems and the new Mesmers. I recently sold my Cults which was an easy decision because of how great my other skates fit in comparison and how premium they feel, but after seeing how Razors treats their team, I can't see supporting a brand like that. I do agree that the Cults slide well but I have my Mesmers for that now. Looking forward to more content!
I've been waiting sooo long for a video and was hopeful when I seen you with Thirty+Rollin and Ricardo that something would be dropping soon. No worries though as I understand life and knew you were going through changes. I know it's probably not the content you want to make but I'd enjoy just 5-10 minute edits of you skating without any other context involved, I just enjoy your style and it gets me hyped to skate. To be clear, not that I don't enjoy your opinions and thoughts I'm just sure always coming up with something to discuss can probably become difficult. I’m terrible for swapping skates, it 100% hinders progress and i always have a problem being at the small end of shell sizing but too big for the lower shell sizes. Found the perfect skate for me in the Aeons with the new Intuition Premium liners ✌🏼
I definitely get it been skating the sl since the sl2 but it's really easy to feel disenfranchised with razors lately once my graphite sl boots are done ill probably make the switch to them skates or maybe the new white shadows

He did an amazing record with Toumani Diabete, another legendary Malian musicean, which is probably one of my favorite records to relax and feel good to. you could fit the small cults. 267 shell same as the small thems so your complaint about the feel is because of the fit. You're comparing a skate a shell size larger versus the shells of the same size. -1 core point
@@coreyenglish8706 definitely a joke but yeah from what I’ve seen on shell sizing the them small runs 267 internal and the razors cult does as well. Factoring in the extra length you’d get from the heel lift you should be good to go. As far as the razors controversy I think all companies that have been around long enough have their problems. The yandriel situation definitely one of the worse I’ve heard but they lost a great skater so damage done.
Boot shape is going to play a big factor as well. I’ll say that if the 6-7 cult does fit me, I will skate it. Hopefully razors can get their act together, but I have my doubts about that. Like you’ve said though, every company has had it’s issues, and things seem to be improving across the industry.
@@coreyenglish8706 yeah the Edith should be the same too so it’s just how they shaped the toe area I feel. Also as long as riders keep calling out companies the improvements will happen. I think us as the consumers should focus our complaints more on the quality of the product rather than how well the company treats its riders. For example Them treats their riders extremely well but the first runs of 908s weren’t great and the hardware that was on my 909s was terrible. I heard they’ve improved it but I lost a cuffbolt on like the second session ad the bridge soulplate hardware rattled and the soulplate mounting screw on one boot stripped itself so it can’t receive bolts.
I feel obligated to chime in that the 6-7 cult is way smaller than the small thems!! my foot is 267 and I wear small intuition v2s for reference. i only made it three sessions in the tiny cults, my feet were dying lol. I have skinny feet too.
One thing you will probably learn only after some time, is that Razors are generally very tough skates, whereas THEMs appear to break quite easily and don't last long. The ones you have look good and you had more confidence skating them than the Razors.

My Shift 2s being about the latest and least durable design, their only weakness are the buckles which appear to be made out of remolded gummy bears and paper, the rest of the skate is built like a tank and my Genesys L.E. from 2006 are still skateable today after being put through the frontlines.

I just hope to see Andy do the right thing more often. The best move he ever made was putting Geoff in charge. I’ve heard nothing but positive things about Geoff. Hopefully Andy will give him more tools to work with to right the ship. Cults are still in the quiver and ready to go.

The 'managers' and people who work with the managers are almost always cold people trying to cut corners. The USD team used to have serious problems with whoever was managing them CIRCA 2002/2003.
I completely dropped my interest in getting a pair of Razors anything for my first pair. Recently, I heard they increased their pro royalties from $3 per purchase to $30 per purchase. It's a HUGE step in the right direction and in redeeming themselves, but they still have a ways to go. That whole debacle with their treatment of Jeph Howard after his accident and subsequent recovery which he is still going through was a HUGE smear in their reputation. Then losing, what was it, a third of their pro riders due to that and stuff brought to light about the founder/owner by employees and the pros who left as well as Jeph? Yeah, they have a long way to go to recover, if they do. I don't think they should cover their pros' medical bills or anything, but the royalties they paid were abysmal and the owner only donated $100 when the owner of a competitor company owner, I can't remember who or what company, donated something like $500? But, I did like how they made a raffle where if you donate at least $10 to Jeph's gofundme, you have a chance to win a pair of Jeph's pro skates. It's kind of a salt in the wound sorta feel, but at least they did something like that. As it stands, I'm looking to get a pair of USD Sway 60's with Roces Street frames through RollerWarhouse using their custom skate builder and their free shipping promo, coming to $174 at the end of everything. But, if you already have Razors, you already gave them your money and support. I don't have anything against already skating them. I've been through this conversation with a couple friends a couple times about a game called Warhammer 40k. They dropped the game all together, a few even already sold every figure they had for the game, due to the company's own smear campaign brought on by employees and partner stores. Unfair employee treatment and pay, severe royalty payments for smaller hobby stores selling their products, etc. Then they came out with a version 2 of the rules for the version of the game my friends and I played that muddied and confused the game. Then started taking down ebay, and other site, listings reselling figures for the games and copyright striking youtube videos made by fans. They even took a couple of the bigger youtube channels to court over free-use of their IP in fan-made content. I told my friends we can keep playing because we already have the rule books and all the figures we need. The company won't be getting anymore patronage from us. They said no.

If the 909 doesn't work for you, definitely try the 908s. I love the cult for its flexy cuff - and the 908s had some fantastic flex.

As it stands, I'm looking to get a pair of USD Sway 60's with Roces Street frames through RollerWarhouse using their custom skate builder and their free shipping promo, coming to $174 at the end of everything.
But, if you already have Razors, you already gave them your money and support. I don't have anything against already skating them. I've been through this conversation with a couple friends a couple times about a game called Warhammer 40k. They dropped the game all together, a few even already sold every figure they had for the game, due to the company's own smear campaign brought on by employees and partner stores. Unfair employee treatment and pay, severe royalty payments for smaller hobby stores selling their products, etc. Then they came out with a version 2 of the rules for the version of the game my friends and I played that muddied and confused the game. Then started taking down ebay, and other site, listings reselling figures for the games and copyright striking youtube videos made by fans. They even took a couple of the bigger youtube channels to court over free-use of their IP in fan-made content. I told my friends we can keep playing because we already have the rule books and all the figures we need. The company won't be getting anymore patronage from us. They said no.
