@@AyushRaj the cut of a high waisted pant made to have overalls is entirely different from mid waisted pants. its not just the buttons. please do your research. tailoring is a craft that is still best made by hand just like footwear

@@intellectualindian2486 Being an intellectual Indian I’d think you’d know better. Not only is it not easier but it makes your dress shirt bunch and move. Where as suspenders hold the pants firmly up but also holds the shirts comfortably down and doesn’t allow it to pull out or come loose.

This video did not provide the one information I was hoping for: What is too tight or too lose? What is the best tension? I keep setting my braces too tight or too lose so my trousers sit uncofortable.
It depends on the rise of your trousers. But for a rule of thumb, make sure the tension is not too tight that the trousers are giving you a wedgy. The best thing to do is to have you trousers tailored and adjust the height of the braces to your desired height and tension. You want the fit to feel as though the braces aren't there. If they're constantly slipping off your shoulders, the tension is too loose. Also, there are many lengths to braces, as with ties. There's a misconception that braces are one size fits all. I for example, bought a pair of braces that were too long for me, and had to lift the adjusters PAST my shoulders because they were too long.

It's tailored and bespoke for a reason, I guess. If you have only seen and wore pants with belt loops for so many years you would not know of this. I had gone into tailoring rabbithole for just a few years and I only learned of this just a few months ago.

You can get away with it but understand that a suit jacket, especially if it's in a more dark and conservative style is going to be substantially more formal than most jackets.
Maybe a simple cardigan can work? But, I think even that is too much..
