Love how real your Q&As are! Also, as someone who eloped, I don’t think you’d regret it! Truly the best experience and so much less stress. (We did still have a few friends + immediate family there)
I also eloped and know several couples why also did so, and none of us regret it. You can elope and have a small dinner party celebration with your friends and/or families too, something more low-key. Based on my friends, planning a wedding is a headache wether you invite 25 people or 100 people.
ok I love to hear this because weddings seriously look like such a pain, plus the way it completely takes over your life for the duration of planning 🙈 not my vibe right now haha
It’s great you have progressed so much with cooking. It’s so undervalued as something to learn and improve on. I also had to learn as an adult but it’s been well worth it!
My fav winter activity is making snow angels as well as watching snowfall! I always grew up watching snow on tv and longing to play in it haha so as an adult when I moved to Canada I unlocked my inner childhood dream! ❄️
my fav winter activity is going to Christmas markets! The lights are always so pretty. Also, taking it slow and focusing on myself, making vision board and preparing for the next year!
My favorite thing in the winter especially since I moved somewhere with big windows is reading by the TV with tea, and seeing the white outside! Its such a small thing but it makes me feel so grateful for life! LOVED what you said about jealousy and comparison, sometimes I think about how Im 25 with the same insecurities I had as 15 and its always a shock like damn girl!! let go! haha
Sitting in a nice cosy cabin, with a fireplace going, sipping hot chocolate and reading a great classic book, while it’s snowing outside. That’s my favourite winter activity 😊
Thank you for answering my question!! I've always wanted to hear more about your experience because those feelings of jealousy have been lingering into my later 20s. I'm proud of my progress and financial responsibility regardless of that. Your take really helped! ❤
Zoe, I loved the Q&A and I love the vlogmas! For me, my favorite thing to do in winter is ice skating! ⛸️ I would actually love to follow an adult class of ice skating!
My favourite winter activity is being cozy inside, esp after playing outside like making a snow man or something. I don't think the google forms link is in the description!
Favourite winter activity is watching a Christmas movie indoors with my family and along with snacks and hot chocolate 🤍 And girl same! I was torn, do I have a small intimate one or an actual wedding with party 😩
Why are people upset you’re paying rent?? He’s sharing his space, utilities, etc with you, so why should you get a free ride? Are these women who are so upset that they are expected to be equal to men, also buying houses and letting their boyfriends live there rent free? Because that’s what they’re advocating: the homeowner needs to provide free room and board to whoever they’re dating. What kind of codependent sugar daddy relationships are these ladies in???
My favourite winter activity is getting a coffee and walking around the old port with my boyfriend!! Do you have a favourite Montreal coffee shop or one you’d recommend?☺️
oh lovely!! yes I have so many 🙈 Cafe Melbourne on St Laurent, September on Notre Dame, Tommy in the Old Port, Nous Sommes Cafe in the Old Port, Crew Cafe in the Old Port... haha I love the old port too!
How did you do your eye makeup? Is it white liner on bottom and thin black liner on top? Looks gorgeous and really makes your eyes pop (well you have big beautiful eyes naturally)!
Hi Zoe my favorite winter activity is doing for long walks with my to daughters, just being able to walk outside and take in the fresh crisp winter air is a blessing. ❄️❄️❄️❄️
Joyeux Noel! Cutting some long layers, coupled with big rollers (lightly sprayed) that you keep in for a while will help with the volume---- source: I was the queen of 90s voluminous hair!
OMG LOL @ Zoe - I thought the noise was happening outside my place, thought it was the snow trucks. When I saw your reaction to noise and paused, it’s a gentle reminder that my volume is too loud since the noise you hear sounds like it’s happening here. hahahahaha
My favorite winter activities are going for a walk in the fresh snow and also staying inside and enjoying watching vlog with a good coffee ❤ I can't find the google form ???!!!
My favorite activity is walking with my dog in the forest. I watched all of your vlogmas can't wait for the others ! Is it normal that I dont see the google form ?
I think you're missing the google form for the giveaway? Either way, my favorite winter activity is kind of all of them. I love going outside and walking in the cold and skiing, and I love being cozy inside and looking outside at the snow.
Skating and spending cozy time with family-baking together ❤❤ Merry Christmas, Zoe! ❤️🎄 Don’t stress too much; everyone goes through the ups and downs of buying a house, having a baby, and planning a wedding (coming from a fellow 28-year-old living in Montreal). P.S. I always wonder what I’d do if I ran into you somewhere-it’d probably feel so awkward because I’ve watched so many of your videos that I feel like I know you, but you’d be thinking, “Who is this stranger?”
I'm cutting out a lot of vloggers who overly display wealth and money and shopping hauls. No shade to the AT ALL, but I've been in a career transition the last couple of years due to my industry dying, so it's had to watch 20-somethings living in luxury apartments in NY. It's just not good for my mental health so I totally get it. I watch more de-influencing and frugal content now which aligns with how I need to live and honestly how I WANT to live.
I get how you feel. Alot of my friends who own homes were helped by their parents. Mine died when I was 21 and then my dad passed 3 years ago. There is no money and I will have to do it all on my own. It makes me so jealous and angry 😢 I just landed a higher paying job in the public service but still feel so far behind ughhhh 😢
Come to Brazil! Ever video that you complain how bad the CAD/USD conversion is, I want to say: “CAD/BRL is really bad for Brazilians, but for canadians is amazing”. Just comeeee and bring the planner with you! If you need some advices, let me know! ❤🇧🇷
I also "pay rent" to my partner who purchased/owns his condo--just want to echo that you're not alone, especially if you're "getting hate" for doing so! If my partner and I are in it for the long-haul, I see it as an investment in our next home purchase. Even if things don't work out, the money I'm saving on "rent" is being invested and saved... so I don't consider it a loss, but rather a savings. Thanks for bringing it up in this Q&A!
Down the line - I feel like a slim ring with little stones all the way are a better solution. I would imagine going grocery shopping with a big stone would be out of place. I don’t think you see people walking around with these kind of rings outside of North America. And also think of you as a 50 year old having a large ring like this chilling about in the drawer. But that’s just my two cents and one of many opinions probably. Love you ❤🎉😂
As a mom I can't wait for you two to have babies 😍 I just hope you're not stopping vlogging if/when you do! I feel like nowadays people put off having children so long that it ends up being harder - harder to conceive and harder to cope with the temporary sleep debt that comes with parenthood. Also the risks of pregnancy and developmental disabilities of the baby increase the older the mother gets. I got my son when I was 27 and the pregnancy was treated as a "high-risk pregnancy" because of my age, even though I've always been healthy. These days it's not incommon for women to wait until being like 35 for even thinking of children, but I think it's not talked enough about, that waiting makes everything so much harder and riskier.
definitely agree w/ you on cooking/baking more at home! i’m not on the same level yet but i’m proud that i started making my own drinks like matcha at home that i’d otherwise spend thousands (from my currency) on each month 😓 here’s to learning more recipes in 2025 ❤️🥫🫕

🎀🎀🎀 🍷 Merry Christmas Zoe!! Wishing you many unexpected blessings as you end this year with family and friends. Cheers always!!
Im telling you SKIP a day brushing your hair and just scrunch it. It will have more volume with basically no work.
