My wife and I did these and it will be a weekly dessert for us. Thank Rosie and keep the recipes coming.
Hi Terry, Your comment really made me smile. The original video was made very early on when I first started the channel. I always had people asking me questions about the freezing option. Thank you sooooo much for supporting my channel!

We did your meat pies and thought we could do it with pie filling so we tried it and mmmm mmm good.
Good idea on pre-making then freezing these delicious looking pies. Thank you Rosie.
Hi AMV, I made that first video and when I look at it now, I cringe. lol My voice is so monotone. I guess I wasn't as comfortable as I am now. Hope you're having a great day....Just don't turn on the TV! lol
Very simple and yummy thanks for showing how to freeze them and cook them
Hi Sherry, Yes I have been thinking about this video forever. I kept saying I gotta redo that, I gotta redo that. A lot of people have small families and the freezing option just seems to help. Have a nice evening.
I am a heck of a cook ...I can do just about anything ...EXCEPT BAKE ...I am not a baker so I love these "baker hacks" LOL they look great...making some of these tomorrow and good tip on the freezing !! 😉
Hi Ron, heck of a cook, good for you! that's awesome. These biscuits are so simple and super tasty. Don't forget the vanilla ice cream on top! lol

Good Day Rosie 🌹. About a year ago I was scrolling through my UA-cam and I came upon a video of some Lady making a stuffed Biscuit , What,! I do that too. And I told you about how I serve a variety of different fillings for appetizers ect. and we talked a little about cooking and we haven't stopped talking yet.! 😊 Oh yeah, nice pies too. 🍎🍎🍎🌷🌷🌷

Hi Friend, Thank you for the visit!
Just watched another video and she recommended the flaky/layers. Worked fine for me.
Hi Friend, in my opinion, the dough works best starting off being one lump of dough. It is easier for me to roll it out. But ultimately it is your kitchen, your rules. Thanks for watching!
Thank you 👋 😊 Rosie
Hi Joy, Thank you for the visit!
I love this idea to
Hi Thomas,. I made this recipe early on when I started the channel. The first video has done well, but only because it's a nice, easy recipe. My presentation needed more pizazz. I sounded very monotone in that first video. Thank you so much for hanging out with me.
@@RosieCooks i cant wait to try it
Why use aluminum foil ? Is using this safe ?
Hi Karen, as I always say...your kitchen, your rules. You can do whatever you want. TFW!
@@RosieCooks Rosie, I read from a doctor and nutritionist that they had real problems with the practice of using alum foil, because of the possibility of leaching into food. They advised people not to use it in food preparation. I thought their warning made sense. For what it is worth.
@@karencarter8292 Thank you
👍👍
Thank you Diane!

Hi Saron, these little pies are great with vanilla ice cream. TFW!

Can you fry them? My mom used to make apple turnovers and but she would fry them. But she used homemade crust.
Hi Helen, this is not a homemade pie. It is a short cut recipe. It's easy and tasty. You can definitely fry them. This is a cherry pie recipe that I made the same short cut method. Thank you for watching! ua-cam.com/video/8eSm9tTta6o/v-deo.html

can you also cook these in the over if you dont have a toster oven?
Hi friend, absolutely yes. Just cook them according to the package directions on the biscuits. Keep an eye on them. When they turn golden Brown, you'll know that they are done.
