Hi, friend. This is a really quick and easy little dessert. They always come out super tasty. When cooking them in a toaster oven, keep an eye on them. Toaster ovens are smaller, and they might cook faster from the outside. You might have to lower the temp a little bit and cook them a little longer. Just pay attention to your little pies, and you'll do fine. Thanks for watching.
Two things. This is great and getting the children involved in making them and you could also make them like meat, pies or meat and veggie pies for your children’s lunches and your children could pack your favorite stuff inside the pouches.

If you use parchment or freezer paper, you won’t have to worry about them sticking and you can use a smaller piece of paper. BTW, for a different use I cooked a bag of mixed fruit with a little lemon juice added, then a cornstarch slurry to firm it up. I think that would work on these “pies”.

Hi Friend. I have attached some information in the description box regarding Egg Wash. It is raw egg and a little bit of water, mixed together and brushed onto baked goods. It adds a beautiful brown color and shine. It can also act as a glue for sealing the edges of bakery items. I want to thank you for reminding me that I should not assume that everything knows what I am talking about. I appreciate your visit. Big Hugs to you!
Can be all egg or just yolks or white . Mixed with water or dairy. Depends what kind of finish . Yolks and water make a yellow semi solid glaze . Whites alone is shiny .
Cook the pies just like you would cook the biscuits. Go by the time on the can of biscuits. You will see them brown into a beautiful golden color. If you cook them from frozen adjust the time.
