Without A Doubt We NEED a BAG-O-DAY Calendar with all these Amazing Stitches and or Patterns featured monthly!! Love Ya Bunches in Eastern Kentucky Crystal!!! My Son, who has Downs Syndrome, automatically recognizes your voice and always says.... Well, Hello Crystal 😊
New subscriber and fan, here!🔔 Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful “combo stitches” with us! I agree with you about the epiphany of being able to combine stitches that we learn! Such interesting and pretty creations! (And, I have to tell you, you were making me laugh as you taught- I teach, and think, like you do…the funny little descriptions that come out of our heads, right?😆 I love it!) Thanks again!💕
I’ve been binge watching your older videos. Very refreshing to see you’ve remained the same person.. I can see a lot of love in your tutorials. I’ve made several of your items from then & now & I’ve learned so much and felt supported by you that I could do anything! I can now make a cardigan without needing to look at your tutorial ( welllllllllll not as much 🤣🤦🏽♀️)
The tools, colours/background makes it easy to focus on what you are doing. I usually find it distracting when I see jewelry and nail art. Thanks for keeping the focus on teaching crochet. 🙏🏻🙏🏻As a knitter, I appreciate this very much. ❤❤❤ 😊
This is a beautiful stich. I can’t wait to get some more yarn. I know this is going to be gorgeous cardigan. Thank you Crystal for taking the time to teach us this stitch.
Another beautiful beautifully done blanket!! Gorgeous yarn! Thanks, Crystal! I love making and giving away your blankets I make watching your tutorials.
I just finished a buttoned cowl and Crystal, it is so beautiful. It’s a lovely burgundy/wine colour in soft chunky yarn. I used a 6 mm hook and 84 chains - thank you for the multiples. I am so pleased. It’s so pretty and your explanations and videography are so clear. Than you so much! I am looking forward to more of your stitch combinations.
Method to your Madness!! Love it!! ❤️❤️❤️ And I can’t wait to do your crochet A Long for your Beautiful new shawl called “ Composed of Madness”!! And celebrate you having 1 million subscribers!! You’ve taught me so much Crystal!! ❤❤❤
I absolutely love the star stitch so this stitch combo is definitely going onto my list of things to do. The twisted rope effect of the third loop looks amazing. I have only even worked in the third loop in the round, where the loop is in the back, and I love how you get that braided effect in the front where the top of the hald doubles end up. This was just as pretty!
I love that you did the stitch sampler of the sweater you are making. This will make it beautiful blanket to donate. I’m glad you have decided to do more of these stitch sampler combos. You are very dedicated to teaching crochet I can tell it comes from the heart. Thank you Crystal be well.❤🧶👍👏
I'm so grateful that experienced stitchers like you make videos like this. I don't believe I could have followed a written pattern for this stitch. It is a very pretty stitch pattern. Cheers!
This stitch, as complicated as it looks, is quite easy once you get the sequence down, and it only takes a few times until you start sailing through them. Mastering the star stitch, makes everyone feel like they are a crocheting superwoman! Crystal is a fabulous teacher! ❤❤❤
I agree - always always count the number of stitches after the star row. I’ve made a few projects using star stitches and many rows had to be ripped out because my rows kept getting shorter lol. Counting is faster in the long run. I hope you posted pics of the cardigan because I’d love to see the finished item.

The first thing I thought of when I saw this combination of stitches was palm trees. I love it. ❤️ I want to do a blanket in troplical colors with this! Thanks! 🌴 🌴 🌴
I am excited for this playlist and can't thank you enough!!!!❤️❤️ I definitely struggle with trying to figuring out what stitch works with what because of the count. I will be saving EVERY single tutorial you put out in this playlist and call it, "Crystals stitches"
Exactly what stitch goes best with what and making the stitches come out exact. Thank you Crystal for all these. Please make a new podcast with those patterns. Yes something that no one else has done
Love your cardigan star stitch design I’m working on a few items with the star stitch n newborn beanies I just love the star stitch! Oh Crystal thank you for the yarn choice you gave me the Caron Simply Soft in Orchid for my first great grand daughter. See I’m already a great grandmother to my Ronan Riley he will be 2 1/2 years old when he becomes big brother! Thanks again and I love your bog.
Hi Chrystal, I often want to incorporate different stitches in a blanket or tv throw for breaking the monotony of repetition but find it difficult with odd and even counts. This is so helpful as I love the star stitch. If you intend to do more of these patterns perhaps you can call them Multiple Stitch Pattern No1 or 2 and so on so your viewers know which one they are using by number. Not very inspiring title but easy on the memory. Many thanks for the work you do 🧶🧶🧶🌷 Maria from England
So, as a kid I read a book (can't remember much) where a boy was taught crocheting by witches. Their stitches hid messages. So all the scarfs, blankets, anything around the house was a message that the "humans" could not read. Ever since then I had wanted to crochet and learn the "language." Crystal, you are not just a teacher, you compose art! You are kind and patient and teach us to have fun. I am following these patterns and can't crochet fast enough :-) But the other day on the plane I just had some scrap yarn and a hook and I crocheted away trying to do the stitches I had see you do from memory (remembered some wrong and got frustrated a bit) but it didn't matter. I was "writing" the messages I had so very much wanted to be able to do as an 8 year old. Thank you for being so awesome and such a great teacher. You encourage me to do things that I never thought I could do. It is the best thing! So again, thank you so much!
Oh, thank you, Crystal! Now, my star stitches will look like star stitches. Ma used to call multiple stitches used together for an effect "stitch patterns". She had all kinds of them in her head. I could never get mine to look like hers. It's all the little tips you gave.....crochet in the back leg or add a single crochet row to get back to the beginning so your stitches face the right way, or lets pull up a loop here to fill in that space!!! A light just switched on in my head :) Thank you
Crystal, thank you for showing us how to make this beautiful star combination tutorial. You are an amazing teacher ❤️. I share your videos with my sisters all the time. I appreciate you!
Hi Crystal. This is a beautiful stitch combo. Your tutorials are the best. You are slow and steady and always show exactly where to put your hook. Thank-you so much. Love, Audrey from Ontario. ❤️🇨🇦🧶👍
I’m a quilter I would never have thought to try crochet wearables until you said “fabric”. Since then (about a year ago) I’ve made two cardigans and a pullover. In addition to my hats, scarves, afghans. You saying “fabric” was my epiphany. Thank you 🎉💕👍
