Yeah thanks man never been the type to have a want nice things… but I am always up to take some thing that’s terrible and make it a little better more useful
Watching from Texas 🤠Appreciate your sharing the DIY. I've used those small bubble levels They work great. Remember to keep the string taut and unobstructed. Also, to test the accuracy and integrity of that small level, just take level off of string and swap ends. It will read the same either way if it hasn't been whacked. A much larger building level is better but, a roughin addition is an acceptable use. You can check a bigger level's integrity the same way. Just swap ends with the level. You probably already knew that. I do enjoy your willingness to make it all work. Stay safe, healthy, strong, discerning and successful. Blessings and prayers to you and your family. ☝ 🙏🙌
😂You brought back memories in several ways...i.e. with several things you said and did a. "shuffle your junk"😂 . Had a friend that had his junk shuffled often till he got caught then he got his noggin bumped and it wasn't while maneuvering amongst some timbers😮. Your videos do seem to be riddled with abstract poetry giving way to accidental innuendos. You are a diversely talented brainiac 🤔. Just please be safe, healthy, strong, discerning and successful. Blessings and prayers to you and all you consider to be important.
Words of a wise man, sir. It took me years to stop beating on myself when I pulled a bonehead move. Your way is better by far! Much more fun. I still screw up.
Great use of dump bed rake truck it sure made that job go well !! Those end pieces need to go under your long runners to shead water . You go Brother !!
I understand, respect, sympathize regarding your remarks about working alone. More often than not, I'm a one man show myself. I still find the hardest part in any of those projects is just getting started. Enjoy your content!
Thanks man. My procedure to start something is to think about is constantly, plan, engineer, budget and estimate a schedule…. Conclude I so not have enough time in a row to complete a project, decide I do not want to make something worse then have to walk away for work or something. And then eventually…. Inspiration or idiocy strikes and I decide to ignore all of that and then I just go to town and I am on a mission until I get it back in order. And that’s usually a gradual slide from fun to exhaustion and feeling overwhelmed. But all that thinking about it I did I had a time does actually pay off.
I saw you have ready a couple windows behind, i building my garage too and i’m just start prep the walls attaching the foundation to start finally start framing.. but i gotta tired and every weekend i do less and some time less i’m just want keep sleeping and trying don’t think about go outside and continued carrion my ladder and up and down hundred of time to do few holes on top of my concrete walls and lifting until holding heavy woods to make sure everything is ok, and a hundred stuffs such ; ohh God i forgot this, or that or that thing i have to go to trying found where i place that thing because i just don’t remember..😂 Edit : my english is in process may be you gotta
Man I get it. This stuff is hard. I try to laugh as much as possible and try not to put too much pressure on. But yea, you only get more tired as the build drags along. And I often call the door to my garage the door of forgetfulness, like the river styx…. I walk in and suddenly have no idea what I was going in there to get
Love the use of the truck, I've been using my trucks like that (first was a 70 GMC) next was a 73 Chevy) since before your truck was new !! and yes I still use my trucks as work platforms. Keep on keepen on, I love watching you solve challenges and really appreciate that you take the time to bring us along. Awesome example for others !!
I love how you make jokes about your skills. I do the same. I laughed out loud several time because it hit home. Thanks for the time killing but interesting content.
I would rather be able to laugh than be great at something. I suppose it would be great to be able to laugh AND be great at something …but I wouldn’t know.
Here in the land of Newk's "West End Garage," if I even built a small shed; City & County Officials would be crawling all over my property! Screaming: "Where's your WORK PERMIT ?" ! Of course, most of my neighbors hate me cause of my rusty truck shells & and chassis in my backyard ! BUT: Congratulations on your new addition ! ...Newk from Kentucky
I cut the same roof metal quite often with a Lenox metal blade from Lowe’s on old skilsaw and flip metal over to cut it mostly flat then, zips right through it, still the place looks great
lol Ryan, I seen the thumbnail and thought to myself that you really didn’t lean a lesson after the whole versatube incident of a few years ago. 😂😂 But it came out a treat and made easier with the help of your machines. Great job mate 👍🏼👍🏼
Your supposed to brake objects around you not yourself 😅. All i can say if I lived near you you would not have done that by yourself, but i do take my hat off to you young man for your achievement. Looking forward to your next post, so long as you survive and you have not put yourself in hospital 😂. Please.be careful, good channels are hard to find. Laters cupcake. Gary 🇬🇧🇬🇧
I’m usually good about telling the difference. When you get tired enough, sometimes what gets to be the hammer and what gets to be the nails changes places.
The good part of DIY'n by yur self is you only have the angel on the right shoulder and the devil on the left to drive you crazy. You add Bubba or worse yet a spouse to the argument... You may as well add two weeks to your five days after work day project. Seriously Ryan I've been to that blade store... you make me Laugh alot.
You should take some of that siding and put it up on the open end of the lean too to close it in and be on the look out for some used garage doors to go on each end and yes I’m aware that mean 4 but how cool. You could make friends with some garage door installers or at least pretend to and I’m sure you could wind up getting them and the hardware to hang and operate them free or almost. Now if your real luck you might score an electric garage door opener or two and if your real real lucky you may get some that are totally glass .. Yes I know it’s a stretch but doing the math being in the Atlanta area there must be a hundred garage door installers. I’d start at Lowe’s because they hire contract workers and I’m sure you can find a friend or pretend friend their possibly Home Depot even .. Your welcome . Ya probably already thought of that one though .. My late mother was a thrifty nickel kinda person too .. Hell , she found an entire house and two decks that was 4 yrs. old for 35 grand move in ready and all we had to do was move it so we did lol . That was about 28 yrs. Ago and it’s now rental property ..
Good job on the cover. But be careful working alone! at least have your cell phone attached to your body in case of emergency, you can at least call 911.
LOL Circus monkey. (flinging Poo) Pretty sure you used all the cutting tools. your Cutting impliments need to lay off the Meth. Your personality is coming out more and more. Safety Stop when you are tired is a great call. I forgot that the truck was also a Dump bed. That was helpful. With having your little piece at the bottom will make it Easier to hide any errors in the square. One of My Grandfahers sayings comes to mind. "Measure it with a Micrometer, Mark it with a piece of chalk, Cut it with an ax. Close enough for Government work." went through the video commenting as I thought of them.
It is so nice when step back and know you did all that by yourself
Yeah thanks man never been the type to have a want nice things… but I am always up to take some thing that’s terrible and make it a little better more useful

that is one of the benefits of where this property is,... but at least you don't have a home owners association... .or for your sake i hope not lol
@betweenthesharksgarage Nope, no homeowners ass! Just a dead-end street in a College Town...
good job👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Looks great...definitely an upgrade from what was there. Thanks for bringing us along
thanks man, i think it will be a big help in the overall process here...thanks for checking it out
Good job Ryan. I love doing projects like that.
thanks man
looks good. You will have to put lights under it now.
I cut the same roof metal quite often with a Lenox metal blade from Lowe’s on old skilsaw and flip metal over to cut it mostly flat then, zips right through it, still the place looks great
I will try a real metal blade.... and it never occurred to me a single time to flip it over.... i am an idiot..
Love the Car Content and the Building content too!
Thanks for the feedback And for watching in general
Great work, looking good.
Thanks man.
Truck was the genius buy! Like a Swiss army knife... multi purpose use! I imagine your re- roofing the garage with the same metal roof.
yea man.. and the same method with the truck
lol Ryan, I seen the thumbnail and thought to myself that you really didn’t lean a lesson after the whole versatube incident of a few years ago. 😂😂

Did you get any damage from the hurricane?
no we got lucky, we had a ton of rain but somehow avoided the flooding

That’s brilliant… I am considering dumping a bucket on the dirt right now lol

Excellent point about the value of your time. $1,000 and someone else does the work?
right? .....thats my advice... and that is what i would have done if i were not replacing what was there
Nurse Ratchets not gonna be happy with u! She told us not to take our helmets off outside! 😵💫😂

Good job on the cover. But be careful working alone! at least have your cell phone attached to your body in case of emergency, you can at least call 911.
that is no joke... there were a few times i put it down and walked away and became very aware of how dumb it was..

Another reason for multiple tape measures. U are bound to loose one.
i am bound to loose multiple... i need to start hiding them like easter eggs... that way when i go looking i might get lucky
Love video
