Cheers Duncan! those pesky midges! yeah the hostel is lovely and well worth a visit! Haven't seen anything new from you in a while! hope your well! Cheers. Paul.
Classic Munro bagging trip Paul. The hostel looks to have changed a little since I was last there back in the mid eighties. Think the the midges were the same though! 😳. Thanks for sharing.
Those midge hanging about the door were horrendous! They were attacking my camera too! Wild! What a cracking wee hostel and a great experience! I am going to go back there Graham next year! Loved it! Thanks again mate and glad you enjoyed it! Paul

Nice one Paulio.👍 your right about doing those munros from the hostel, looks so much easier. We’re you no tempted to leave your bag at some point on ridge when heading for 2nd munro.? Lovely remote area there and yeh those midges were horrendous that morning. Looked just as bad on the tops. At least I’ll have my Ebike for my return journey to the hostel next year. Great edit as always mate and good info for when I get back there.👍 ATB Franko👍🏔🏴
In hindsight Frank I probably should have left the bag at the start of the ridge. 🙄. The midges were with us all day! We never really escaped them at all. They were worst at the hostel though. Yeah I think the hostel is definitely the way to go with these munros and I may go back to do the others too! Cheers mate and sorry again you couldn't have joined us!, Paulo 👍
Another great adventure and vid Paul thoroughly it! Pity you were brutalized by more of the ferocious wee beasties. Kudos to you and the team for persevering through, another few hills is the bag, outstanding! Loving yer work mate! 😃⛰
Thanks so much Ron! Probably the worst midge I have experienced! Hopefully they will all be gone soon for another winter! A hard shift this one and definitely some big mountains! Hopefully you will get to visit them on your Munro journey too! Cheers again....Paul
