My Grandma used to make something like this with chicken! Sometimes she used cream of celery, sometimes cream of chicken, cream o mushroom... basically cream of whatever she had in the cupboard lol! And it was delicious every time
I just made this yall. It is delicious. I didn't have the beefy onion soup mix but I used regular onion soup mix. I'm going to cook some cornbread with this and some corn. My Sunday dinner is complete. Thanks for sharing this delicious recipe!!!
Hey Ray Mack! That Lipton Onion Pork Chop and Rice Looks really delicious. 😋 I try to watch my salt intake. I use a dab of sea salt,no salt calvender's seasoning,no salt tony zachary seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder and extra virgin olive oil in pot. Thanks for sharing. Have a blessed day. 🙏 💘
I’m making this for my husband right now! I’ll be back to update y’all on how it goes! UPDATE: this was the bomb!! Currently eating leftovers! Super easy to make!!
Drooooool!! Definitely gotta make this. I use a little black pepper, lots of lemon pepper, salt, granulated garlic and granulated onion. I like the granulated versions better than the powders; I think the flavors are fuller, and it's easier to control the amount. My favorite way to make chops is season with the above, toss in a few smashed garlic cloves as well, brown in a big skillet on both sides, then add about a 1/4 cup each of water and dry white wine. Cover and simmer, remove the lid when they start getting dry, and keep sautéing until just dry. Flip, add more water and wine, cover and repeat. Gets so much good sticky juice, and they fall apart! They taste great even on days when you don't want to bother with more than plain boiled, buttered potatoes as the starch. Lipton Onion, Beef Mushroom and Beefy Onion mixes are a godsend. I use the Beef Mushroom in my spaghetti/lasagna sauce recipe I've worked out, and my hamburger Stroganoff. Can't live without any of 'em.
Now that is a recipe I must try!!! I never thought to cook rice in a oven along with Porkchop🙌❤️ that recipe look mouth watering and I am loving the seasoning 👍🏾
Thank you so much for commenting and watching this video. If you prepare this recipe tonight please take a picture of it and share it with me on social media using the #raymackstyle.
I think I will try this recipe too! I use actually the basics...a little salt, pepper, sometimes garlic salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and seasoning salt, but I'll have to use it in controlled proportions, as I can't handle too much sodium. But I really enjoy watching your videos and I kept quite a lot of them in my watch later list..,and as you said, you do make most of your recipes very simple, because I have cooked some of them, and they have turned out delicious! Thank you very much!
I just discovered your channel, Ray Mack and I want to say from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! My family LOVES your recipes! I can't wait to try this one!
I keep it simple when I bake them, mostly because my mom’s way was my favorite and that was how she made them. Salt, pepper, granulated garlic and onion, paprika and thyme. Sometimes I add onions. Bake at 375 covered 45 min; flip and bake uncovered until the chops develop a little crisp and start to oven fry a bit. They’re so delicious.
Ray, I used granulated roasted garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and Himilayan pink salt whenever I bake or fry pork chops! When I bake, I also add apple cider vinegar to my pan..
Made this one today and Lawd it’s off the chain! Definitely no complaints from my family! Thank you very much didn’t think I’d like the cream of celery but I’m telling you LOVED IT in this recipe.
@RayMack, I made this the other day and it was sooooo good. I made it for my husbands job and they loved it. I also made the chicken and lord I wanna thank u for sharing... It was so good and it was easy!!!
Those pork chops and rice look so good. On my pork, I like fresh squeezed lemon juice, lemon zest, fresh garlic, oregano, sea salt, black pepper and extra virgin olive oil. Cheers, Ray! 👍👍✌️

Hey Ray Mack I’m Houston, Texas and I try the recipe. Everything tasted fantastic but, I want to know where did you purchase that rectangular cast iron roaster with the lid? Please get back with me.
Looks great! Looking forward to trying. The pork looks more like what my grocery store calls "pork steaks". The pork chops here are too lean, always tough. Gonna keep my eye out for similar looking pork. Damn, now I'm hungry!
Ray Mack, this is one of your fun-est presentations! Looks tasty and simple. For sure going to try it when the Boss decides to get us some 'not too expensive' chops. I'll tell her I'm trying to give her a break from her (VERY nice) Chinese style quick season batter and fry of chops. "Aw, that's too much work Luv ..."

"Oh my goodness Ray" your food looks sooo delicious; Now I need a moment just to digress because this meal looks so delicious and I didn't even get a plate!
Ray Mack, I use 2 different kinds of seasoning. I use the Montreal steak seasoning which I think is probably similar to the Weber steak seasoning that you were using. I also use Penzey's spices Galena mix, Which I use on chicken and pork.
I’m half Asian so used real rice not uncle Ben. Excellent recipe!!!! Big hit!
@1conservativegrl thank you
