I found your recipe and thought it was something I could make. It turned out beautifully and I was impressed, my husband was too! The porkchops were so tender and the rice so flavorful! ❤
My mother taught me a recipe like this on our Kansas farm 25 years ago. Minor changes are, add green beans to the mix, adding paprika and cayenne pepper for flavor. Also use chicken broth in place of water. Nothing beats good old style cooking. Keep it up!
Green beans are a terrific idea that would make this a complete one-pan meal. I encourage my community to make every recipe their own and paprika and cayenne will do that. Yes, to chicken broth, too. Yummy! Thanks for watching. I hope you’ll be back!
Made this last night for dinner! It was absolutely delicious! Thank you for sharing your recipe! The only thing I did differently was to add Emeril’s seasoning to meat before sear.
My grandmother taught me this recipe in the late 70's. Love it, if you have high blood pressure just use low salt vegetable broth instead of mushroom soup.Add some rubbed sage to the pork chops before searing.
I like that recipe better than the others that are online report chops look really fantastic and the rice looks very flavorful and a little bit of a bit we’ll get on the pork chops and give it a little bit of flavor may be a bite here their thumbs up😊
Until the rice is ready and the temperature of pork chops reads at least 145 degrees F on a meat thermometer. It's hard for me to tell you exactly because it depends on how thick your pork chops are and how long you have cooked it on the stove after adding the rice. It should be in the range of 30-45 minutes.
Hmm, that does sound excessive! I have no control over the ad placement in my videos. That's up to UA-cam. I've heard UA-cam serves us as much advertising as we will tolerate so you may want to show UA-cam you don't like so many ads by refreshing the video. That's what I do.
If you enjoyed this recipe try this one. Yummy! ua-cam.com/video/TvWtANC9uKM/v-deo.html

I dredge my chops in flour before adding to the oil
Yes, you can do that, but it isn't necessary for this recipe. I try to reduce carbs wherever I can.
Yum Yum. But as someone who can't seem to leave anything alone, I am using Cream of Chicken instead. Not a Mushroom fan.
I love it when my viewers are inspired to make my recipes their own! Thanks for sharing.
I loveeee cream of mushroom in food!
Looks really tasty.Did you rinse the rice before adding?
No, I didn't rinse the rice.

Why bother searing the chops and getting a good crust then putting them in a liquid??
The browning of the chops adds flavor to the dish. It makes a difference.
Makes gravy
Over 10 minutes of ads is too much
