I can understand her rage, I have gone through some less than ideal stuff with family, father especially. Not to this sexual extent, but abuse still, and I have felt that same rage and that I, in the heat of the moment, could really kill him. (If it would really ever go that far it hard to say)! But I swore to myself years ago that I‘m not ever gonna ruin the rest of my life with one moment of questionable „revenge“. Being happy & independent and cutting off contact is a far better revenge. 🌈

and then she tried to get all of her beta orbiters to do her bidding. men willing to do just about anything to make this woman happy. but when it comes to murder, someone had to draw a line in the sand. i mean, she could have gotten away with second degree murder, considering the circumstances. but there was an awful lot of planning and text messaging about details involving murder and cover up. so she kind of deserves the 25 to life sentence imo. her personal offense was not shared by a jury of her peers.

      Right!? .. it’s just weird..
I’m not trying to be insensitive with this observation. ((Obligatory ‘But’)). I can 100% understand being all KINDS of freaked out, betrayed, horrified and angry and anything else if you found pictures on a pc like that.. but.. she knew where they were from, so, she was aware they were taken? Just not aware of who was looking at them?
So.. I’m having a little trouble understanding the very extreme “I don’t feel safe” reaction.. cant sleep on a bed? Needs a noisy tarp? Cant shower?
he doesn’t live in the same house with you currently, (he’s in the hospital), nothing was mentioned about her being drugged and posed against her will or awareness..
so.. it just seems like her crippling massive reaction was disproportionate?
      Like.
Either she’s inflating it for sympathy in court, there’s something MORE that we haven’t been told, or she’s got a personality/psych issues that isn’t disclosed or diagnosed.. ?
Or I did I miss something earlier?
I can absolutely empathize and sympathize with her, but the whole thing is just weird..
WHY did she pick him up from hospital in the 1st place??? WHY was there this weird circus about “personal security” just so she could shower 🤔? But then she’s perfectly fine to go alone to pick him up and BE alone with him for all that time, and her security hero is? Where? He clearly agreed to SOMETHING with her ? But then plays ‘lost the phone’ “I’m too busy”?

@@MizzTrinieFyre …. I am in I read that comment and it is sick and sad but not for the reasons you think. I think it’s sick and sad because it just sounds like trying to demonize men with something that has no correlation with reality. First of all, just speaking culturally, the vast vast majority of men would lay down their life to protect the women. They love their children your mother, your sister, your cousin, if a man is trying to take it vantage of her or Harper. Even women that they don’t know men will put themselves on the line to defend them. If a man was beating on a woman in public, in a store, how long do you think it would take for other men to come to her defense and be willing to fight the man beating on her, put themselves on a line risk, their health risk being injured to protect a woman they don’t know from Adam? I mean I’ve seen it happen in person and on the Internet. No man is going to publicly get away with taking advantage or harming a woman if there’s other men around. They don’t have to know the woman they don’t have to be involved, but men will intervened and protect that woman. Good man won’t stand for that. Also, when it comes to the criminal aspect of it, there are thousands and thousands and thousands of men that are in prison for long sentences, even the rest of their lives for abusing women or abusing children in whatever way.
Another big boy dad seems to be ignored in this comment section is that there are many many women in all aspects up and down the hierarchy when it comes to criminal justice and punishment. Do you have women, police chiefs, women, police, women, states, attorneys and Districk attorneys, women, prosecutors, women, judges, women on parole boards , women that are social workers. There’s plenty of women that make plenty of decisions when it comes to crime like that all across America so to pretend that it’s just man that make all these decisions is completely inaccurate. Also, like I said, to pretend that men will not punish other men for assaulting, or abusing women or children, or that they won’t stand up for them, or even lay their life down for them, whether they know the women or children, or not to pretend that’s accurate is also just completely ridiculous.

    • @joann3190

Disagree, after seeing SO MANY cases where women does just that, the police and judge would just give him a slap, or would not pursue it any further, because it was a "long overdue action," and they can't do anything without proof. For example, there's a case about this UA-camr who found missing bodies, he was viewed as a decent and caring guy... turns out, he had SA one of his family member. And, the family member have been trying to convict him, but didn't succeed, until later on, finally. I know most people don't want to condemn violence, but I disagree when it comes to pedos and SA dudes. As a woman who have been SA at a young age, with two of my family members, plus, some dudes in my past life, I AGREE with what she did! The betrayal, the hurt, especially to someone you look up to! This is why I will never date, especially having a daughter! Most dudes are pervs and pedos, just being honest, from my observation. You will NEVER understand, until you have experience yourself!

I remember a day when I was about 16/17. It was New Years or 4th of July, sometime where people were over & the adults were drinking.
My mom sent me to go get my dad & I found him passed out drunk on his bed. I shook him a few times. He grabbed my hand really tight & made a very graphic comment about my breasts, followed by his nickname for my mom.
A completely innocent moment where he mistook me for her, a man who never gave a hint of inappropriate behavior towards kids, but just hearing those words from his mouth was repulsive.
I was embarrassed & sickened. I can still feel that 30 years later. I never told either parent.
He would have been absolutely humiliated. She would have found it hysterical & added it to her many funny family anecdotes.
Just the words in his voice made my skin crawl. I can’t imagine how I would feel if I found photos of myself on the computer of someone I regard as a father.
It’s really just gross. It’s unnatural. Girls should feel safe growing into their bodies & sexuality without the men in their families sniffing around. I don’t care if they weren’t related by blood or even marriage (though it sounds like some of the images were from when he was her legal stepfather).
He broke a promise to be a caretaker & protector, becoming the threat himself. It’s unforgivable & far too common.
Yes, she’s guilty. She killed him. It wasn’t a crime of passion, she didn’t just snap & do it when she found them. It was planned & she involved other people.
I imagine Alan is one of those big talk guys who stopped responding because he’s full of bs. He’s a coward who thinks acting like a tough killer makes him interesting or important or whatever. Those guys bother me. I’m not a fan of killers but there’s usually something underlying it. This is glamorization of murder to the extent of impersonation. It’s its own kinda crazy but very pathetic.
I don’t think it’s hard to empathize with jade, but she deserves prison time. She had options. She wasn’t in danger. He did something sickening and I get that triggering a big response, it just wasn’t the smart way to go.
But, unlike most cases, because of Tom’s actions I was able to laugh at the “weekend at Bernie’s “ reference without guilt.

Men are allowed to celebrate sex and their bodies to the point where we're just there to DO stuff to (never "with"... we just lie there and get grabbed and slammed and whatever the hell else) for them to get-off. People wonder why girls typically not just not like sex, but *avoid* having it. Well, what's in it for us? When the tribe came across a large stockpile of left-behind food in some building's warehouse, the alpha males went wild on their "lessers" to prevent anyone but themselves partaking of the bounty.
Only thing was, it was left behind for a reason. The humans abandoning it knew it was a toxic waste dump of food that'd kill ya if you so much as looked at it wrong. The primate alphas didn't. Every last one of the abusive-alpha kings were unceremoniously "unseated" at once. • @Debateyourright
      @Debateyourright Рік тому

Actually the evidence was there in the legal context where the state is required to prove two things, one being the act of killing someone itself(someone died and that the accused caused the death) and secondly the presence of intent to cause the death at the time of the killing. She made the states job easy on proving these two by documenting her actions when she texted the friend that she had overdosed him to render him helpless so she can struggle him(so she caused his death and when she solicited a friend to help kill him,she proved her intentions was to cause his death so the second murder ingredient of malice aforethought, was established.

I'd be having my laptop searched for hidden stuff just in case. I don't understand her logic of him being mad about her deleting the photos...so what if he's mad??? Instead i get not deleting them for proof.. unfortunately i don't know what the police would do to get the photos removed. She should have just "accidentally" destroyed the computer and hard drive and go to small claims court if needed and then walked away from him forever and get a restraining order. Yeah the betrayal is real but throwing your own life away is a lot. Of course it's easy to say when you aren't there in the moment, but damn i feel like there had to be a simpler resolution that didn't end up with jail time.
She needed a better lawyer, but i think the fact she has all those messages goes against her since they were all several days after initially finding the nudes. A crime of passion (or in this case probably pure rage) can't be premeditated and idk if her asking for help to kill him would count. Interesting how they tried doing a not guilty plea. I do think she did it, but i thought maybe she'd get a lesser sentence for extenuating circumstance or that she'd take a plea deal. She'll probably be paroled early.

Just really sad all around. I can't imagine the intense rage she felt towards Tom after finding those photos, it's the ultimate betrayal of trust. She should have just abandoned him and never picked him up or spoke to him again and let him figure out the rest of his life alone without her. Gabapentin is given to patients for nerve pain....either from shingles neuropathy or diabetic neuropathy. I think it was also given for seizures. It is not a narcotic but is now a controlled substance in most states, if not all. It was changed to a controlled substance once it got widely popular and can be addictive. Popular because of how it reacts with opioids and can make them stronger...I think it helps with symptoms of withdrawal.

If she ruined the computer then how do we know there was even pictures of her to begin with? If no pictures were discovered then I would believe the whole thing was set up by her..I mean come on she even had a plan B lol

Ive just got one question. The guy was a pervert. Once she found the photos, why didn’t she just call the police? Let them handle it.

Right. And she could have just cut him off and been done there, instead of wasting her entire life.

@@RachelShannonExactly, that’s my whole point. Really sad. And she could have just turned him in. Im sure he would have been convicted, she’d be rid of him and she’d be free. So sad and unnecessary.

@@natashameyers249 I dont know precisely What's missing _ but the situation told how it is here's. seem she has hidin motive. deeper than the pictured. The step daughter said it was the screen saver - she lived by him_ helping him many times before . for years & just now she see the computer???? And he has close up personal pictures. how it was described doesn't seem there shawer overview - not just bedroom over view- violating here like that only seeing her changing & naked - how did he get such close forwarded facing pictures. You have to be at certain angles to get certain views when taking pictures. And the way its spoken of and described. close personal areas. Leaves room to question - ? Was she ok at some point - & something else set her off? I DONT know enough about this case other than my opinion on this information.

I have to disagree with you. He had her pictures from when she was underaged.
While I would have preferred that he get sent to prison to be used by the other inmates, I have no problem with him dying.
Had I been on that jury I would have acquitted her.

I definitely see your point of view and part of me agrees. But unfortunately for her, she could have gone about it differently and she’d still have her life to live right now.
