It is very similar to the famous little minuet that had been attributed to Bach for ages, until it turned out to be by Petzold. I think both pieces are from the Anna Magdalena Notebook, in which Bach and family and friends all wrote down little bits and pieces, so that it is now difficult to determine who composed what. What is the difference between Bach's minuet in G major and minor scale? Some parts are same in both.
I have the same question.
minuet in G is in the key of G (f sharp), minuet in G minor is in the key of G minor (b flat e flat)
Thanks :) I asked my teacher too about this and he replied the same.
Majors have a happy tone while Minors have a sad, depressive tone.
All those listed above and a few differences in pattern (or something) I thinking
The minuet is supposed to repeat the A part at the end.
