So your chairs were completely white. Is that some kind of primer? The edging, the grommets, the wooden legs all white. Did you reupholster them first and put on that white textured material? They look like albino chairs to start with. Like a great blank canvas. The interesting style of the chair backs made me think of Dr. Seuss!
It was B.O.S.S. white from Dixie Belle! I didn't reupholster first I just painted to give it a solid base so EXACTLY, it's a blank canvas! I love the back of the chairs too, such great curves!
But you are the freestyle painting Queen lol. My hands are so shaky I tried it but my black got on my white like the peanut butter gets on the chocolate OMG it was a mess had to redo it over and over but I think I got it down now thanks to you you are my inspiration and my mentor
Omg you have got the patience of Job and a lot better eyes I tried to do a chair like that it was so hard my first attempt on a chair had the little Diamond material but at least it was laid flat I couldn't imagine doing something with all those humps you are awesome

Did you lightly sand or use the pad polishing pad on the mineral chalk paint before you started on the other paint?
