I had the gastric bypass. I’m 8 months post op. I’ve lost 157lbs. I hate everything about it. I vomit daily. I have constant pain. I wish I never had it done.
Had GB about 1.5 years ago. I had some complications about 6 months ago. I was more careful with what I ate and it passed (took about three months to really go away. Pains in my stomach, could not eat certain foods that I could before it started, tests did not show anything. Scary time). Glad it finally went away. Had zero problems before or after. My mom had gastric bypass in 2006 and basically ended up starving to death over the course of 15 years. She died this month. The last 3 years she could barely eat and lost half of her body weight after already being underweight. She was so weak and couldn't walk. The doctors just kept sending her home. Finally her blood pressure was so low she fell and broke her artificial shoulder. She died a week later from surgical complications. Bottom line, this is a nasty procedure and in my opinion should be banned. Yeah it feels good the first two years when weight comes off but beware, for the rest of your life you are slowly starving to death.
If you're morbidly obese, you are not starving, and clearly you can reduce some portions of food. Eating less isn't the same thing as not eating at all. Portion control is key, anything you eat can be healthy moderation. The surgery literally makes you eat less, but it's not necessary to go through all the pain and cost.. just sayin
This surgery is for people who have a dysfunctional metabolism, meaning you either won't lose weight from diet and exercise or you cannot keep the weight off because the body has a high set point that it strives to. 95% of all diets end in failure. This kind of attitude is why we have societal problems with eating disorders and it's just so incredibly ignorant

And starve🤔
Some ppl have an addiction problem with food unfortunately
@@billie-ocean8286 no eat just enough to keep you alive for a couple weeks
Why no news on migrant invasion??
because there isn't one you psycho idiot
you look up a gastric bypass video and you bitch about migrant invasion? LOOK UP MIGRANT INVASION VIDEOS YOU FUCKING DUMBASS!!!
