Today is week 1, had a successful surgery recovering ❤️🩹 at home and doing a lot of walking and exercises with upper body and some calf exercises (arms & legs) no sit-us nor push ups that puts a lot of strain on my incisions and sore stomach, very excited on how I’m going to feel and look 8-12 weeks from now i know wife and kids are looking forward to too it as well 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
So it’s been almost 6 weeks since my surgery and I’ve lost 50 lbs, I’m feeling great I’m weighing 221 lbs still on a awesome path to loose 30-35 lbs more and I’ll be at my high school weight back in the 80s can’t wait to go to my reunion they won’t recognize me at all

My MIL REALLY needs to go in and get her revision done, as she has broken an ottoman, a loveseat, her bed leans to one side severely, and she has broken 2 of our office chairs. She is so addicted to sugar she just cannot help herself. I fear I may see her bedridden in a broken bed because she isn't even trying anymore, at all. It frustrates and breaks my heart. We were supposed to do the prerequisites together, but she gave up literally second day :/

Do they just lay you down and instantly put the anesthesia mask on? If so then i won’t be afraid. I saw that there are several types of surgery, this type of surgery. This operation and removal. I'm just wondering which is the better surgery out of the two? What after that? Do you drink vitamins all your life? Are you eating normally with this operation? My cousin had an operation, but not this kind. And she doesn't eat anything because she's not allowed. She has to either feed or water, and in addition, she drinks a lot of vitamins and some pills for the rest of her life.??Does anyone know the answer?

@Fadi To be honest the first 2 weeks were tough mentally and physically I would break down crying for no reason and I had no energy food was everything for me I just didn't realize on how much I depended on it. I am now 1 month and 3 weeks out and I was at 317 pds. I am now at 265 pds and losing everyday I wish I would of done it alot sooner its rough in the beginning for pre diet but it goes by and now I'm back to regular food I just can't alot but satisfied.

@Fadi thank you that means alot you've got this you can do it and will feel so much better just take every appointment you get and get it done as fast as you can before surgery and make sure your insurance will approve the surgery I had Cigna and I called them before the doctors office ever called me to tell me I was approved and my surgery date had already been set.
I want to get this surgery because i never want to get fat im currently at a healthy weight but no doctor takes me serious when i tell them about getting this surgery to avoid being fat in the future
