Asus released a firmware update for the RT-AX86U pro, the new features are new ssid networks that can have VPN access, iot networks and vlans. Would like to see a updated video of those features

You will only benefit from Wi-Fi 7 if you have devices that can connect to the 320MHz channels and these devices are still rare now. If you have a Wi-Fi 6 router and it is good, keep it, but if you are looking to get a new router, Wi-Fi 6E is now a better choice then Wi-Fi 7 because of its wider compatibility. ❤️

This router is garbage. Have never had issue like this with a router before. Random drops then will not provide speeds past 80Mbs (wired or wifi) after drop. Only rebooting will correct issue for about half a day. Called Asus tech support and their solution was to hard reset router and setup wifi network again. Worked for a day and a half. Router is updated with latest firmware and no updates have been pushed out in a very long time. There are better solutions from TP Link. Unfortunately wasted quite a bit on this absolutely trash tier Asus product.

Maybe you had a faulty unit. My AXE7800 is working perfectly. Try to exchange it if it is still under warranty

@@KnowledgeSharingTech Their warranty is a joke. RMA? on a router? Send it in to have their techs check it out? 7-10 turnaround time? Excluding weekends and ship time? Asus experience has been absolutely dismal. Unfortunately, I will no longer be buying Asus brand now that I know how their customer service is on their garbage products.
