    I recently bought this router. It is great so far. Range is good, it is stable and most of all, it is much faster than any AC router I have seen. I also like the looks of it. $280 is lower than most places have it. It is routinely running for $329.

    I’m using the ASUS ET12 mesh system now.
    What’s your thoughts of adding this as extra node/AP for added Wi-Fi coverage?

      You could do that. It has a setting to make it easy to do. However I would think you could get an actual access point cheaper than a whole router.

    I don't understand the point in these. I tried the TP Link AXE6000 and the this 1 but neither increased my WiFi speed. Why would you buy a gaming WiFi hub or this hub to increase WiFi if it didn't do it? Or maybe my WiFi is limited? Do people wire this to their internet so they can use it in other locations - with no increase in speed? Head is lost.

    I'm currently using the Asus ROG Rapture GT-AX6000. Is the AXE7800 an upgrade option for me? Or should I wait for WIFI 7?

    do you know why the transfer rate on Mobile is 44MB/s when compared to 100MB/s on PC? where is the bottleneck or limitation?

      Wireless

    • @tskarthikkumar
      @tskarthikkumar 10 місяців тому

      what is the wireless limitation here? just trying to understand and justify, test you did in PC is also via wireless which gave you 100+MB/s and same wireless from Mobile gives you 40+MB/s.

    • @BudgetNerd

      I see what you mean. It could go faster. My only device that supports 6E might be the bottleneck.

C3000Z offers dual-band WiFi rated at AC2200 and delivers speed of up to 1.7 Gbps* over 5Ghz and 450 Mbps* over 2.4Ghz. That seens like from the year 2000.

      @@nathansampson662 Its cheaper in the long run most cases(some ISPs charge extra for 4 ports or wifi), you get more control(DNS setting, Parental control, Ad blocking), increased privacy(Less snooping from ISPs on traffic), and YOU get to control when to upgrade and render older tech obsolete(Had an ISPs downgrade me to a "new" modem with a single port to try and force me to pay for a newer "better" modem with an included router...).

      @@nathansampson662 typically your ISP will offer a modem+router device and charge anywhere from $10 to $20 a month. As such, this much better router will pay for itself in 2 years or much less. Plus, you control it and can take it with you when you move/change providers. IMO, buying a modem & router for yourself is better than renting.

      @@danielkissgremsperger3242 Any purchase I make is going to have to last for years, looking to the future I don't buy older or dated or soon to be redundant products. Example if a car can only travel 40km hr and next week cars will be available to travel 100km, 60% faster, why would I purchase the 40km hr?. Sure I may have to wait a while to benefit from the speed, but I haven't wasted money on soon outdated products, instead I am prepared for the advances. I just purchased a tri-band WiFi 7 router which is back ward compatible and that means WiFi 5 - 6 - 6E -7 band. It didn't cost me as much as some current 6 - 6E routers so feel I saved by not having to update again for 7. Long term I saved money comparison shopping because I won't have to purchase 2 products at twice the cost long term.
