    Also make sure to remove the brush head every night , clean it , and place the base upside down to dry ( spray it with alcohol ) it can harbor bacteria .

    I have one tip
    don't keep switching your face wash stick too one when you keep using different ones your skin doesn't get used to it and can make it take a lot longer to get cleared up! This is just my personal experience with acne and acne scars. :)

      Thanks ! I actually had another person tell me the same a few months ago! I appreciate the tip! :)

    You got some good results!! Thanks for sharing. If you're interested using tea tree oil at bedtime on your acne spots will help. Put it right on any pimples or blemishes.

    Have you ever tried giving up dairy products? Dairy is a very common cause of acne. It took me 10 years to figure out that I had a dairy (hormone) sensitivity and my skin completely cleared up after I quit dairy. I've gone on and off the diet several times and the breakouts/clear ups always follow suit. Free and definitely worth a shot.

    • @Nicki2Wild
      @Nicki2Wild  7 років тому +3

      Yes I've given up dairy products for 3-4 months before. Didn't really make a difference for me... but I honestly don't consume much dairy anyway.

    Thank you for sharing your challenges with us here on UA-cam. I am considering the purchase of the Clarisonic Mia 2. I already have a WONDERFUL facial cleanser and I also use a battery operated brush (spin style). I think once you have figured out what cleanser + moisturizer + serum + sun protection, best works for you, the Clarisonic will enhance your beauty routine. Well wishes in your journeys.

    Love the clarasonic , I am getting a purge ( little white heads ) where I would've already got breakouts . Just pushed them to surface quicker . I use a very gentle wash with it , only at night . As my 2nd cleanse . Key is keeping the skins ph balance where it should be . Not using products that will strip the skin , while retaining natural oil . I quit using makeup for the first 2 weeks too & highly suggest removing makeup with makeup remover b4 using the clarasonic, as the device will just push the makeup into the pores in my educated opinion. I do think that's where a lot of people go wrong , shouldn't be used to solely remove makeup and use very gentle clessors ( no foaming : no acne cleansors or exfoliating cleansors ) ur skin looks great !

    may i ask do u have big pores? i can't see it on camera, but does your pores look smaller after 30 days , thank you. thinking of buying it

    • @Nicki2Wild
      @Nicki2Wild  8 років тому

      +Mey Shen Yes... my pores are larger on the top of my cheeks/close to my nose. Clarisonic did help reduce size, however, the witch hazel I use is actually meant to help reduce the size of pores! I highly recommend adding witch hazel to your skin regimen! It has helped A LOT with my skin!. Hope this helps! :)

    I use this too and love it, but I have noticed that it can be quite abrasive during a breakout and can spread the bacteria. I recommend the Clinique 3-step it really cleared my skin up.

    So are you using it everyday? Is it wrong to use it every single day?

    • @Nicki2Wild
      @Nicki2Wild  8 років тому +4

      Yes, I use I use it once or twice everyday. It is very safe to use daily. Clarisonic even recommends to use it at least once everyday. The clarisonic is not a rough tool. Very gentle and it only stays on for one minute so it helps avoid you from over washing your face. I have seen DRAMATIC changes since adding the clarisonic to my daily skin routine!

      @Nicki2Wild  8 років тому +1

      +jmsmom02 Yea i actually have heard about that. Something I definitely might need to look into. I'm not gonna lie tho, the more I use the clarisonic the more my acne scars have faded. Guess its one of things you just have to be patient about lol

    • @jmsmom02
      @jmsmom02 8 років тому +1

      My patience is horrible lol I've been using mia2 for about 3 weeks & I don't see much of a difference. My skin does feel smoother but the appearance is about the same. I'm sticking with it though lol!

      @Nicki2Wild  8 років тому +1

      +jmsmom02 yea.. that was the same with me! since ive started the mia2 tho, I havent had any acne like i did before. literally my face has been remaining clear. just the acne scars are the only things taking its sweet little time lol each day it gets better and better tho

    • @Nicki2Wild
      @Nicki2Wild  8 років тому +1

      Thank you!! & yes the whole thing is waterproof. I use it most of the time while I'm in the shower. Also, you really only have to remove the brush to clean if you wash off makeup everyday with it. I only wear makeup MAYBE once a week. So my brush rarely got dirty. Also, I always use make wipes and prewash my face when I take off makeup. Then I make sure everything is off by using my Mia 2.
