I’ve camped a few times on that coast and so far only once have I had another tent. Did get a little worried when folk came along about 5pm but they wanted pictures then left. That Aurora was just something else. Cheers Dave. Hope we can get a camp out this summer. Gonna try for a few more in the lakes
Posted my first comment as your film started, coz i was happy for the location of your camp. At the moment your film is nearly finished. But , those star shots and aurora footage!!! What a place 🫡😁👏👍🏼
That camp had it all. What a sunset and to top it off a white sandy beach. Fab star trail with the Aurora pics also. The definition of the “perfect” wild camp. All the best Rob! What a beautiful place…
It’s a long ass drive from mine but when we get hit with the weather I can’t resist. As much as I love a summit camp you just can’t beat some of the beaches we have in the highlands and Hebrides. Was as close to perfect as I recon I could get. Cheers for the comment Gav. ATVB
@@Moffatmountainadventures That camp is what it’s all about. Awesome. You drive off without your camera at the end though 😉 Amazing road in the very last scene.
@HikingForHealth1 I left loads out of the drive in and out as I wanted it under 25 mins but honestly that drive from Glencoe to fort William in my view is the best road in the UK.
Another stunner can't beat a beach camp 👌. I planned a 24 hour loop in the Galloway's/Dungeon Hills for tomorrow with a camp at Loch Enoch. But after watching this and looks like some really major aurora activity could kick of tomorrow night. I'm not so sure now if I should go further north. Where iam planning on camping is in major dark sky territory though. Decisions decisions 😖🤔😄
Loved that Robert, looked a lovely camp spot and you certainly got the weather & views. Good looking tent. Beautiful area up there with the white sands of Morar and all that. Great edit ATB Frank
Was good I’ve just had another camp last night in that area before I get back onto some summit camps. Just love the west coast. Especially this time of year. Cheers for the comment frank 😊
Absolutely amazing Robert 😍👍..What a cracking place to camp..I love it up there..I swear by those pegs you use.😍👌🏻..You looked so happy up there 😁..Great vlog mate😁..Plenty of good info about the area as well 😁 Cheers Murchie (Roberts ma formal name 😂)
Cheers murchie, honestly mate, possibly one of my favourite camps so far. Everytime I come to that coast line I get treated to a stunner. Gonna head back that way next weekend and get a summit and maybe then a beach 🏝️
Such a stunning area, coastline is amazing 🏴🏕🌅👌
Definitely worth the 4 hour drive. Thought I’d try a spot I hadn’t been too as well.
Thanks for the film. Its my most favourite place on the west coast. Those silver sands😊👍🏼
I’ve camped a few times at different spots on that coastline and it never lets me down. Just stunning
Great stuff Rob , had it all to yourself 😎 aurora topped it off 📷👍 atb Dave

Cheers bud. I couldn’t have asked for much better. Probably the last chance of an Aurora till at least September
From a local, this is a brilliant video and captures the place perfectly. Was sat on the beach doing a bacon sandwich on the JetBoil in January. 😅
Cheers bud. Make sure I left it as I found it too. It’s a really special place
