0:44 wall moves/wobbles slightly when Mr. Lucas rushes into Rumbold's office. Looking beyond that, definitely a lighthearted take on "THIS IS YOUR LIFE" (Trevor Bannister did a great impression of a TV host to honor Young Mr. Grace).
He's doing Eamonn Andrews, the real-life host of "This is Your Life" in the UK. A spot-on imitation, too👍
@@districtline Is that who it was? I've only ever seen the Australian "This is Your Life" which first aired in 1975 so I didn't know, but definitely an amusing and accurate imitation.
Though Harmon was hilarious
expect ANYTHING from the crazies over in Do-it-Yourself
I am watching this on Monday morning...same feeling...
Mr. Humphries bears a striking resemblance to his mother, don't you think?
The fur coat scene is great of course, but what dumbass goes to the story and starts to confess he has a "girlfriend"? I can only assume he won't be paying several thousands, cash, so he probably has an account there. Or leave a card or check.
Great way to blackmail someone with money.
Love em
"all I really need to learn from life I learned in kindergarden"...and from Are You Being Served?....l.o.l.

Oh.. I can’t even remember kindergarten.. so I guess I forgot everything that I learnt..

Stephanie murria ...... Because They Stuuuuppiiiddd, No Sense Of Happieness For British Comedy.. I Love This Program Forever, “Are You Being Served” And Always Will... 👌🏻☺️❤️😍
One of them was Mr Grace's secretary 🤣
Mr. Lucas, "Almost identical to something similar."
good on you for making this show available to watch, its hard to find the full series in DVD, its one of the shows of the era where the dirty mind of the audience had to fill in the blanks, where as these days, comedy is basically, the F word and all of the others of same nature.
writers these days can't write comedy without using direct references to the obvious.
Well put. I love this show. I do not have cable because everything is so crude.
@jasper kent I know, I love the innuendo in British comedies.
Eleni 1979 I heard Tebbs had died..
