Jeffrey Williams thanks bro for your comment and subscribing to my channel. Im glad you were able to hear how clear it sounds. What did you like from my set up?
6.5" can make bass but that box is way too small. It's the same size as that of 2 of my 5.25" tuned to 95 Hz! (They were designed to be used with a subwoofer but wanted some more kick which is why they are tuned this high). I have ported enclosures for bass face 6 x 9 and they are 1.1-1.2 cubic feet PER speaker and tuned to 50 Hz. They do produce some nice bass though apart from on low rap music.
6.5" subs can get a lot of bass. The drawback for smaller subs is low power handling. But just group together 4, 6, 8, 12, or more. Like that you can get some loud DB's.
The reason why the Tablet keeps sliding is because your box is not solid. The front and back baffles are vibrating colouring the sound they need internal bracing and or padding.
gilmore Skeen thats true and guess what i did that two weeks after this video and now it sounds way better and the bass is even better. Check my channel i made a subwoofer box and it is loud and clean. Thanks for your coment bro.
eduardo domingues reproduce desde los 24hz hasta los 62hz. Escucha este video usando unos audifonos y escucharas q bien se escucha, si es q aun no lo as echo.
You know the passive radiators do not always move the opposite direction of the powered driver. It depends on whether the subwoofer is playing at the frequency the passive radiators are tuned to. I can't remember if they move the same direction when they're in tune or the opposite. But if you have a high speed camera you can see that they will actually move in and out of sync depending on the frequencies.
daan hamer yeah they are barely even moving. When you have a sealed box with passive radiator speaker with any minimal motion from your powered speakers the passive moves more creating better sound and bass response
This build is impressive.
Also, that beat that was playing 11-12 min mark was absolutely craaazy!!!!
Always use bigger passive radiators than ur speaker (sub) size
You are correct. I no longer have this but the next speaker i made has two 8” passive radiators and it sounds amazing!
Badass bro the clarity is dope.

This is probably the most impressive bass speaker video I've ever seen.. well done buddy, very good work.
S Atkinson thank you bro. I just finished on my bluetooth speaker check it out when you get a chance here on my youtube channel
Look at mine
That is a nice speaker set up
NOICE! Love that design. :)

excuse me Mr professional, can you put a passive radiator directly behind the live subs ? or would that kill the whole deep bass ?

sounds good! where did you get those 6.5"?
Alex Escobedo thank you. I got these Alpines type R 6.5 from a Hi Tech car audio here in the bay, San francisco CA.
Shit slaps
bass radiator não anula algumas frequencias mais baixas ?

No anula las frecuencias del bass por la razon q el bass radiator lo puedes tonificar a tu gusto agregando unas rondanas o tuerkas
First....👌👍
Were you playing over the horizon
cool yeah. When the tablet connects to bluetooth on the pioneer deck it plays automatically that track Over the Horizon

Yung Padawan you are right. I did a slow mo and that is exactly what it was doing
Songs?
That’s what I need to know too
It is barrely even moving

Raul Ochoa a sealed box should move like crazy
I'm sure it would if it was SEALED lol
It's not a sealed enclosure
That box is way way to narrow to get any real bass from,it's like 3" deep ffs lmfao
Most sealed inclosures are around those numbers 🤦♂️
