I would most definitely buy one. That's my favorite looking Tahoe yet. The idea of an extreme off road capable suv excites me.

If GM were serious about their ZR2/AT4x lineup (Tahoe included hopefully), they would not only put on 35's as standard, but also give it the LT4, not the same L87 that's available in almost every other trim level. GM, if you're listening, the ZR2 is special. Build it that way!
My big issues will all the off-road variants is the lack of 3.0 Duramax. The 6.2, while proven, is a thirsty dinosaur. And for 95% of use, the diesel gets way better economy.
I’m a Tahoe guy. Grew up with suburbans. This new Tahoe is stupid dope. I actually saw one parked at my job with the extra large sunroof. 🔥
Bring it with the 3.0 online 6 diesel. Much needed Zr2 Tahoe

I’ve never been a Tahoe fan, only the suburban or Yukon xl. So if you include the suburban into the zr2 mix then yes I’d buy one. I’d also like to see the 6.6l gas as an engine option as well.

I'd like to see GM come up with something that competes with the Bronco. Maybe call it the K5 (since the blazer is taken) based on the Colorado frame. and Jimmy on the GMC side. As soon as a z71 or zr2 Tahoe is available in the 3.0 diesel I'm getting one.

Isn't the Tahoe really just an evolution of the K5? Chevy never really had anything like the current Bronco (which is more like a Jeep or old Land Cruiser). Even the original K5 had a top that no one ever took off because it was too hard. It just wasn't the same. But the Tahoe is almost the same vehicle, evolved into something more modern and useful over time.
I actually feel this way as someone who owned and loved my K5.

They have two Blazers, and they could have three a ZR2 two-door offroad.

Brian, as intriguing as a ZR2 option would be, what I REALLY want is a Tahoe that can tow serious weight, like 10k+ pounds. I'm on my third Tahoe (bought 2022 Z71 in May '22) and I'm still surprised at how much of a towing difference there is between the Tahoe and Silverado. I would buy the truck, but covet the rear storage that is covered and climate controlled. I agree with you, that a ZR2 option on the Tahoe is probably a no-brainer, as long as Chevy doesn't cannibalize the Z71, but could see the ZR2 replacing the Z71 altogether.
I’m still waiting for GM to stick that 6.6 in the Suburban.. they’ll keep the Z71 as a “lower” cost off-roader and ZR2 will be way more expensive

Always loved a ZR2, but I’d be happy with standard foglights on at least the RST, Z71, Premier, & High Country Tahoe models. The front looks so incomplete without them.
GM killed any ability to make any of their SUV's a "True" off roader with the introduction of the IRS frame. Trail rig, yes...Overland for the meek...yes. Go where few have gone? Not a chance. Next time any of you see a 21 or newer Tahoe or Yukon lifted from the rear pay close attention the the lower rear arms and where they connect to the center of the frame. There is NO amount of lift that will change how terribly low the center point of the rear frame hangs. You can forget about getting into rocks or deep rutted trails. The only way to fix this would be a mild lift coupled with 4' portals and 37's and Maybe just maybe you might have some ground clearance in the back. Reserve the solid rear axle frames for the Z71 and ZR2.....
Great color combo. Put me down for one. Waiting for the 2024 changes to buy my 8th Tahoe. Best vehicle on the road.

Chevrolet would be smart developing the great looking and functional concept. I’ve owned a Tahoe, loved it! Would buy for sure, however I’m a true Cadillac owner and since 2017 been driving an Escalade. Hope to see these on the road. GM, pay attention.
Own a Silverado ZR2 and love it. Considering upgrading to the 2500 version once it comes out, but a Tahoe ZR2? Hell yeah be great for the family. Could get rid of my wife's SUV and get that for the family hauls.
But you forgot to mention the important thing if GM decides to build one of this babies.

Yes, I would buy one. I’m currently looking at the Tahoe and specifically the past two years and the lifts people have used on them.
This is awesome and yes! If I had the money I would seriously consider one. That said, I can't see this coming onto the market due to the 'plans' that the WEF has for all of us. They want to end private transportation hence their plans for 15 minute cities.

Am I the only one that thinks that the prices on SUVs and trucks are through the roof and ridiculous these days don’t get me wrong they are beautiful trucks but 80 or 90k for a truck?? not worth it in my opinion
To finish up, I had to improvise and added a driver side grab handle to my 2020 gmc yukon Denali , I bought one from EBAY for a 2018 gmc sierra, it kind of fits 99 percent perfectly I had to drill some holes on the pillar and put put on some rivnuts so I could be able to bolt them to the pillar it looks good and believe me it helps a lot when getting on and off my yukon to conclude I can't believe GMC doesn't doesn't even give you the option to add one so you don't have to go to this hassle, I forgot to tell you guys I put on one on my 2017 gmc sierra but on this matter GMC did put on 2 predrilled holes on the pillar, they did it on their pickups but not on their suvs...
I would buy a affordable ZR2 package with a LT interior option. But no I will not buy nor can I afford a fully loaded 100,000 suv to offroad. Jeep does so well in the offroad world because you can buy a Rubicon offroad package with basically base model interior. They do not force you to buy a 15k interior trim just so you can get the best offroad package like Ford, Ram and GM

As a former Colorado ZR2 and current Trailboss owner, I would buy this.
I'm very impress with the look. I have a 96 Tahoe on which I'm fixing. But this one is beefy. Love the look.. I'm not a person that loves new cars, but a thumbs up on this one.
You're better off with your Tahoe with the 4L60/4L80 over a 6L80/90, 8L90, 10L90 Transmission in anything since 2005+. I have a 2007 Classic bowtie with 4L60 and it is better designed due to no circuit board inside the transmission (circuit boards and heat do not mix)

The Suburban is NOT an extended wheelbase Tahoe! The Tahoe is a shortened version of a Suburban! The Suburban is the oldest vehicle model with the same name in history. 2024 is the ninetieth anniversary of the Suburban.

Looks Nice like it better than the new bronco, The concept will definitely make a big difference. I’m a bronco guy. I love my truck but whenever I see those new Broncos out on the road they just do nothing for me but that new Chevy concept car should become reality. I’d buy it.

You did great with 4 doors!! 2 door just not practical. They are so expensive. Wish they had a 65k out the door price. Height adjusting suspension is smart. I personally like it lower like the old 09 trailblazer height. No one should work to get in. Again.. great job. My favorite color is that bright silver 🎩🕶

I would definitely get one!! coming from the factory with 35x12.5 tires and 17 or 18 inch wheels with all the ZR2 features like the locking front and rear diffs. Full metal underbody skid plates and rock sliders. 🤯🤩🙌🏼
I’m a GM guy, but they really need to take some notes from ford and dodge and start slapping superchargers on some of these cars and SUVs. they had the Tahoe RST that was supercharged a few years ago but for some reason they just won’t do it now. The trim specs and price are comparable to other brands but GM is down a couple hundred horsepower.

I’d take one just like that. The paint job is perfect! As for the suspension and tires. They did ion a hummer. It would not be hard to graft its parts into a ZR2. Where do you sign up for this overdue Tahoe.

I would buy one in a 2 door configuration. The 4 door platform is just too big. I have a 1995 GMC Yukon that I purchased new and still and it is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned

For me it has to be a diesel, I love the 24-26 mpg I get out of the 2022-AT4 Pickup but need the comforts of the SUV for the kids. This would definitely make it my daily driver.

Yes we would buy one. Just make as wide as the Hummer with a bull horn bumper made out of steel. I also see that it might need a step rail. On the rear, put a quad muffler to compete with Mercedes Benz AMG GLE 53 Coupe. Also make it a 5 seater and leave the back empty for cargo space. Deal?

The Tahoe never came in a two door variant. The Chevy Blazer started coming in a four door variant that wasn't the length of a Suburban. They named it the Tahoe. It was the middle sized offering between the Blazer and Suburban.
Would want the 35's and the higher road clearance, plus the air absolutely that would allow a couple more inches on top of that. Don't like your color, I'd prefer all black exterior and interior. Definitely need thicker more comfortable seats, better for longer distance driving. Would love the night vision, and massaging seats too. That night vision is better in heavy fog and snow, even more so than fog lights, and of course, better to see big foot with, more useful away from city lights where this thing would be more likely to go. But those seats, thicker seating and bolstering with quality leather is key, the thin, hard seats of the GMC Yukon AT4 and Denali are why didn't already get one of those.

yes a solid rear axle, 3.73 , I don't want a independent rear axle" for a smooth ride and leg room for 3rd row", and lot of us have no need, want or will ever use then 3rd row .we want payload , towing room to build a car /over lander
That is amazing yet classic paint job, I love it! But GM is too lame to paint it like that, I am a big GM fan, but there paint color options are a disappointment. Also I am sad that they are focusing on electric bs instead of horsepower! They also just need to tune the 6.2 motor and make it 500HP for ZR2 stuff.
yes to a 3.45 or 3.73 locking rear soild rear axle. and please no 3.21 ratio , independent rear axe ...we don't want. a smooth ride and leg room for the 3rd row, we want no 3rd row , no sunroofs , no 2nd row ent screens , a off roader not a luxury wagon ,id buy one for my tour overland build
took a close look at the expedition XL STX has no 3rd row ,as a off roader car, camper most of us have no need , want , or will ever use a 3rd row .....we want cargo space payload and towing
100% agreed. Absolutely can't stand the lower control arms on the rear independent suspension that they currently use. They can count me in on one if the pricing is right.

Bring back the S-10 ZR-2 Blazer, it's way more trail size. Just improve it's lockers and wheel wells. Full size trucks are trail limited.
