I've wanted a Tahie for as long as I can remember. I worked as a claims adjuster for several years and thought it was really odd that a majority of claims involving a Tahoe had fatalities. I don't know what their safety ratings look like but too many potential issues, death among them, I'm gonna pass.
I’m mortified😱 May 2023 and I recently checked out a 2020 Tahoe LT with low mileage and very reasonably priced for Southern California. After watching this video I realize I might have to kick start a Plan B. Thanks for this upload sir!
It’s sad because I own a 2017 Tahoe and it’s such a beautiful truck but I have had electrical problems and needed my transmission rep, axed recently. Thankfully that was still under warranty but still
VERY ACCURATE ! This video is legit. I have a 2018 Suburban premier. And I can relate to some problems like de ac compressor (which I already replaced) the magnetic ride suspension (it’s starting to give up and needs replacement) but that’s my fault because I left my suburban sitting for like 2 months. And the transmision which sometimes (very rarely) shifts rough and the engine problem. (Makes a noice when I started when it’s cold) I also agree in what you said about the cilinder deactivation Other than that I absolutely love my truck.
I own a 2015 Tahoe lt great car but 2 transmissions and so far car works just gas and oil change but I drive 3k miles a month so 36k miles + a year so I say 40k then new transmission or rebuilding one or go fine them at a junk yard they use ir for most GM cars lmfao so its life I will love this car and hate it just like my bmw lmfao cars
I own a 2016 and ive already put well over 13k into in the problems are still coming, new motor, new ac system, new suspension system, new radio, tons of sensors, worst mistake ive ever made!!!
So funny, the sequoia is at the top of my list but I keep checking a round anyway and everything keeps driving be back to the sequoia or armada depending on How test drives go.
I had Toyotas for all my life, now I need a bigger car, so I was considering tahoe or suburban, but watching this video show that American cars have a poor reliability issue, I have to stick with Toyota and Honda.
Our 2015 tahoe is the worst car we have ever gotten. Our problem now is out steering wheel won't move. Chevy dealership claims computer needs to be updates and it'll cost us up to $400 out of our pocket for the uptate and programming. 😡 Very disappointing. Don't recommend anyone buying a 2015 and up Chevy tahoe
Come on US AUTO Makers get it together, plus most you got tax payer bailout , REMEMBER 😠 . Start making vehicles that we can all be proud to own again, geeez 😮
My 2020 Chevy Tahoe transmission went out at 34,000 miles 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️. Thank God I still have my 2002 Chevy Avalanche!

Same. I just replaced transmission 7k. Still having electrical issues. Love my truck but I’ve had soo many issues with it ☹️
Damn you really make it sound like a real peace of 💩
Have you figured out the electrical problems, because I’m in that predicament right now. The dealer swears they don’t know what the problem is.
@@dollface3102 I ended up swapping out the cables that connect to my battery and its housing and haven’t had anymore problems since.
@@jarrettbakersrthank you so much for responding. My truck is at the dealer, I asked them to check all of which you mentioned. Thanks again!
Sounds like it's not reliable! That's get it together American Auto Manufacturers!
Just bought 2019 35,000 miles .
My 05 was a dog as well had a rotted frame 183000 miles.
Hope the 2019 is better

@@Switzerlandboy420 it be like that when all I do is drive 8/12hrs a day lmfao plus on the mountain heavy on the transmission
Get a 2020 sequoia. Don't be a stupid. Learn from people and consumer reports. Get education. Read and study before you purchase.
I have a 2015 tahoe ls
Had 68k now 135k. No crazy issues like that yet... paranoid now.

Wowwwwwwww
Shocks and struts so expensive lots of money :(
Wth
Gm and all the other us brands are falling down in making trucks
WTF! Hello Sequoia
Definitely!!!? Sequoias are 300,000 mi plus vehicles without any major repairs if you take care of them well!!!!!
lmfao they get like 10mpg
Facts lol tanks for a reason

And they tell me not to trust a ford
I always said the same. It's hard me saying this. But I would rather buy a Ford than buy any Chevy past 2014
I see not one lie here. Let's not forget about the horrible paint job. Majority of Chevy models from that era hood/roof looks terrible.
Well looks like im not getting a tahoe
Torque converter
I drive a first gen sequoia but i really wajt a new tahoe. I screw that.
Don’t do it.
