Can I use the lines from floor plan? I have dwg file and I can select lines but if use push pull tool it's not allowed me to fill colors between lines and not to use pull push tool. And Can I reduce the opacity of my floor pan so I can easily draw an outline above it

Hi Justin. Thanks so much for this great video. Very helpful. I'd like to ask your help with something. I am working on a somewhat large model and creating the documentation using Layout. My issue is when I hit 'Update Model Reference'. When it's time to update my model reference, I can go for walk around the house, make a tea, watch a quick video from 'The Sketchup Essentials' and when I go back to the computer, hopefully it's done updating. It is taking around 15 minutes each time. I am sure I just need to optimize 'something', 'somewhere' but I have no idea where to begin. I can say that I do purge the Sketchup model very often so that step has already been taken care of. I also do not have any 'hybrid' viewports. any help you can offer would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Thanks a lot. But does the image in LayOut look low-quality (pixelated)? Especially slanting and curved lines and objects' edges. Despite the fact that in SketchUp everything looks clear. How can the picture quality be adjusted in LayOut?
master, greetings from Uruguay, south America

same here, even working from a high performance set up and the model / project simple and clean. I simply can´t find why Layout is so heavy and slow

In the Model, click Hybrid or Vector instead of Raster. It will take time to load, but it gives you accurate lines.
@@luciusnorman thanks
I tried doing the whole plan in Layout but I find it so slow. Very frustrating and in some cases even lock viewports are moving.
