Thank you for this video. I've been binging the show pretty hard and I really love it. But it was nice to be reminded of many of the things that happened in the earlier seasons. Getting ready to jump in to season 6 right now.
Hi @violetremembers1980, just a small correction, Claire isn't the one who gives Faith her name, but is Mother Hildegarde who gives it to her instead :) .
Haven't seen this show, but might have to give it a try. Though it seems like a lot jammed into a short time (wonder if that's just the norm for shows now) Also, yes... That dude is a virgin!? 😂
I randomly tuned in one day, no knowledge of the books or story. And I was snatched into this tale!! You hear me!? GRABBED!! Both leads are hot and their chemistry really sizzles. If I may suggest, give the first couple of episode a watch
You have kind of cut out the whole fact that during the whole period of time that he is raising that child that is not his own he is hoping that anytime she will at least show him some affection show him at least some love that they used to have between them but she doesn't she treats him like crap the whole time she never treats him with the kind of respect that he deserves in fact I'm more than one occasion she has the nerve to say that he is in fact not her daughter Brees father, which when they come back to when she goes back to Jamie he is grateful for this husband of hers who raised his daughter in fact he says that bri has been lucky to have two fathers the one who raised her and the one who sired her and the interesting thing about this is he is always considerate and honorable as I can't stand Claire, because Claire every chance she gets treats him the husband she left behind in the 1940s like dirt in fact when he dies it's just a convenience if you ask me the author wrote it as a convenience because it wouldn't look good if he got custody of their daughter, not to mentionI may have gotten the timer on I mean let's face it she came back in 1945 48 something like that and he didn't kick her out in the street he kept her and the child and he raised that child as if it was her own as his own but he always got treated by his wife Claire like dirt and you see it on more than one occasion, and when he goes back it is Jamie who treats the memory of her late husband with the respect that is due him in fact he tells Bree that while he may have sired her her real father was the one who raised her, her mother makes no such contentions in fact she makes comments that are derogatory constantly derogatory about him and for this reason I can't stand her.
This might sound rude and i hope not, but if you wan't to improve and gain more traction I recommend you to watch some videos, by man of recaps. His recaps are quite good, just a tip. Good luck

Give it a go, you won’t regret it, it is compulsive. Although a lot happens it is spread out over many episodes.

I will have to go back and watch these scenes with your perspective in mind. Thank you.
