Thank you so much for this recap. Actually unable to catch up with this show due to geography reasons, despite it being far better than the books(imho). Anyway, thanks again 👍
Thanks for another great recap. I really hope they announce when season 7 part 2 will be available soon. This recap really helps fill the gap time, and keep the events or part one fresh in my mind.
I absolutely love this series, find out it was also my beautiful Mom’s favourite book series she passed 9 years before it came to film. One day Mom were going to watch it together on some beautiful planet.🌞🎆♥️☯️😘
I just found out that I now have to wait until November for outlander It is the best show on tv the best of all time I am going stir crazy waiting so long and then to wait another year for the last season I will be so upset when it is over there I s not much to watch on tv anymore so sad
Violet! This was by far THE best recap ever! Thank you so much for filling in all the blanks my brain had forgotten. Now I can begin watching Part 2!!!! 😀
Wow thank you. I watch on Netflix and they’re only up to season 6 is available. It’s very nice to get the recap of season 7 part1. When you watch please make a season 7 part 2 as well. Thanks again.
This inspires me to reread the books, rather to pick up where this season left off. The series kept pretty closely to the books in season 7. I was surprised. The series did minimize Jamie's injuries during that battle though, in the book he came within a hairsbreath of dying. Again Claire wouldn't let him go but it took some time to heal.
Thanks to the administrator for such a complete recap! Very helpful for catching up before Part Two! I was a little confused by your pronunciation of Lallybroch, but other than that-great!
I can’t wait to see when they come back I have been watching it from the first day & I love this show so much . I just hope that Bri and Roger son can be found & hope they can find each other. There will not be any one like Claire & Jamie stay together till the end of this series . I Love them all so much thanks to all who had a part of this series . 🐞🐞🕊️🙏🙏🙏😘😘😘❤️❤️❤️❤️😇😇🌹❤❤❤
I haven't seen part 1 of season 7 but have read all the books so this was easy to follow. I think I'm going to enjoy this season very much. I'm anxious for it to be released so i can get it from the library.
I hope that we can see all the things with clearing Jamie and make sure they’re little boy comes home. I love it. I watch it since the daily started. I just hope it has a beautiful ending. Thank you. God bless you.❤🌹🙏
The fire did not happen when it was originally supposed to... that caused Bree to go through the stones to save her mother. That's why Roger exclaimed that Bree had changed history.
I agree it is frustrating, but as mentioned season 7 got screwed up from the pandemic, no surprise there. And I think even moving forward, people are still recovering from all kinds of issues that the COVID brought. Financial, medical, it's a crazy year in general because it's an election year, AI is freaking everybody out. I get that all of us fans just want more, but I also understand that it's a lot of pressure on the creators of the show. I think our patience will pay of., the last thing we want is a overrushed season, right?
Both Sam and Catriona have never spoken up against the genocide being committed in Gaza. They have shown themselves to be without any humanity . When history reveals those who stepped up to vilify such horror, these two will undoubtedly be on the wrong side of history.
This was great! You included a lot of important details that another recap I watched glossed over (which is what sent me to yours; I couldn't remember the details, and that other recap left me confused). I just wish you didn't have the cartoon Violet--cute as she is--overlayed on top of the screen. I find it distracting.
i stopped watching the show after season 4 all the grapes turned me off and i couldn't continue with it but i thought to watch a recap to see what happens after that and i enjoyed your videos
I don't believe they have released it yet, my guess would be it will release after part 2 with the whole season. If anyone knows differently let us know.
@johnribert809: my english is bad, so let it translate from german language : die ersten 8 Folgen von season 7 kann man im Amazon kaufen. Habe ich mir vor ungefähr 9 Monaten angesehen. Es lohnt sich nicht irgendwas zu kaufen, die sind einfach mehr als schlecht!
I have missed Outlander SO much and appreciate the recap. I noticed several words were not pronounced the same way they were on the show. For instance, Gallic is Scottish and Gaelic is Irish. Despite this, I want to thank you for doing the recap-I found it by accident!!
The boy was never Ian’s. Ian was kicked out of the village just after Emily had like her 5th miscarriage. The boy actually didn’t have a name as they need to be a certain age. The boy told him that his grandmother told him he was Ian’s spirt child (not his physical child) . Ian has no children until he married Rachel. Anyway, Emily offers him to name her new baby girl, but Ian says no, I’ll name the boy and names him Swiftest of Lizards, not Ian James.
Just started Season 6 and already disappointed. All they do is play defense because of bad decision making. Jamie makes Peter Griffen look like a genius
SPOILER, SPOILER, SPOILER: Do NOT read this if you've not seen Season 7 in its entirety. I think the whole of "Outlander" (all seasons) is a very good series!! (I'm on the last episode of Season 7.) Season 7 did however annoy me tremendously - at least some aspects of it. One of the aspects is linguistic. A pair of Quakers are encountered by the main protagonists. Because they are Quakers (I suppose) they use the true second person singular when they speak (thou, thy, thine, thee). The problem is they get it wrong. Instead of seeing 'thou hast', 'dost thou?' &c., which is correct, they go: 'is thee...?', 'did thee...?' &c., which is wrong and grates both ear and soul to a linguist such as myself. I buy the realism, because they could have not been Quakers in England, converted in North America and been trying to get used to a usage which was not their regular mode of speaking. That is the in-world explanation, which is all well and good. The reason why they speak this way - no fault of the actors who do a tremendous job - is surely some poorly informed American scriptwriter, who has written the lines without doing the proper research. The nominative or subjetive of the second person singular is 'thou' so they should say 'Didst thou know about...?' rather than 'Did thee know about...?' 'Thou' is the equivalent of 'I' in the first person singular, so just like you would say 'Did I know about...?' and NOT 'Did me know about...?' (for instance retorically, as in 'Did I know you were going to come over in the evening?', which would be 'Did I know thou wert coming over in the evening?' if using the true second person singular). They do not conjugate the verbs properly: Verbs conjugated in the true second person singular usually (or perhaps always - I can't think of an exception) end with 'st' or just 't', in the same way verbs conjugated in the third person singular (he/she/it) ends in 's' or 'es' (archaically 'th' or 'eth' as in he 'cometh' or 'she speaketh'). The verb 'to be' is properly conjugated 'art'. When they in "Outlander" say 'thee is', they should be saying 'thou art'. 'Thee' is the accusative and dative or objective of the true second person singular. 'I gave thee a quill,' would be correct. So is 'Thou gavest me a quill.' 'I gave thee, my daughter, to Mr. Fraser in matrimony,' would also be correct. So is 'I gave my daughter to thee, Mr. Fraser.' (The former is an example of the accusative and the second of the dative.) They do get their genitives or possessive pronouns right however. When they say things like 'thy dog' or 'thy words' (equivalent to 'my', 'his', 'their' &c.) they do get it 100% right. Another thing is that they don't use as many contractions as what you'd normally expect. To my recollection, the Quaker girl (Kate, I think her name is) only uses a contraction once, ''tis', which is just an older form of 'it's' and is perfectly correct and would have been used. Contractions have been with the English language for a very long time. Again, I'm OK with the explanation that their mode of speaking is down to that they have only relatively recently forced themselves to speak like this, e.g., through a religious conversion. Most native speakers, in the 18th Century, as well as long before and up until the present day, use contractions a lot more than they do, also when using 'thou', 'thy', 'thine' and 'thee'. were in
Explain to me why was jamie upset about the gold? And why did he take it from the loyal old couple? Seems like bad judgement on jamie’s part. After all the bad things him and clair have done!
You have a very informative channel but for future reference please learn how to pronounce Fraser correctly before making any more videos. It is pronounced FrayZer (like Razor), not FrayZhure, (like the tv character). It’s really annoying when you cannot pronounce the name correctly. Thanks!
Thank you ! This is soooo annoying. It seems that all Americans, including Matt and Maril, pronounce it incorrectly. I scream at the screen every time they do it.
JHRC!!! They have announced Part 2 won't be until November 2024!!! It's nice to know, but that's so far away!!!
Thank you so much for this recap. Actually unable to catch up with this show due to geography reasons, despite it being far better than the books(imho).
Anyway, thanks again 👍
Why do we get all these notifications. Is this show Part 2 of the last 7 seasons.
I believe their isn't a Part 2 , why can't you
Outlander vibes
Outlander forever

Thanks for another great recap. I really hope they announce when season 7 part 2 will be available soon. This recap really helps fill the gap time, and keep the events or part one fresh in my mind.
Best recap of all I've seen! 🤩
That is a great recap! I’d forgotten a lot. Thanks for bringing me up to date and now bring on part two. I’m not getting any younger.
Your recaps are very good, you seem to cover everything in Outlander season 7. Well done.
What a great recap! Thorough, relatable, and entertaining 🔥
Everyone don’t forget, you can always go rent it from your local library if you don’t have Starz!!! that’s what I did!
It's also streaming on Netflix
Vhs from library? Or what format please?
@ DVD!!!
its also on Netflix and depending on which region you're in, also has all the seasons.
That's what I do.
I absolutely love this series, find out it was also my beautiful Mom’s favourite book series she passed 9 years before it came to film. One day Mom were going to watch it together on some beautiful planet.🌞🎆♥️☯️😘

You’re lovely - this recap was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
Violet! This was by far THE best recap ever! Thank you so much for filling in all the blanks my brain had forgotten. Now I can begin watching Part 2!!!! 😀
Great recap!! It’s been torture waiting on Part 2!!
Thank you so much. As I have missed a lot because of a brain aneurysm that caused a stroke on February 26, 2015.
Navigating life as an adult is hard and stressful. I love the outlander because it serves as a healthy form of escapism.
I share the same feeling

When you watch please make a season 7 part 2 as well. Thanks again.
Your timing of "most uncomfortable woman" was spot on! Well done :D
None of them could stand her in their time. She is too woke for even now. Sounds like she lectured Benedict Arnold on there.
Great recap! Thank you 😊

Thanks to the administrator for such a complete recap! Very helpful for catching up before Part Two! I was a little confused by your pronunciation of Lallybroch, but other than that-great!

Thank you for this reminder.
Awesome, thank you for this play by play!
I haven't seen part 1 of season 7 but have read all the books so this was easy to follow. I think I'm going to enjoy this season very much. I'm anxious for it to be released so i can get it from the library.
Great recap, thanks so much.
Almost as good as a Scotch on the rocks, but not quite.
Thanks for the updates
Thanks for a recap!
I hope that we can see all the things with clearing Jamie and make sure they’re little boy comes home. I love it. I watch it since the daily started. I just hope it has a beautiful ending. Thank you. God bless you.❤🌹🙏
I've read the books so it's easy to follow along. I haven't seen S7 yet. I'm waiting for it to come out on video.
The fire did not happen when it was originally supposed to... that caused Bree to go through the stones to save her mother. That's why Roger exclaimed that Bree had changed history.
Es muy larga la espera de la segunda parte de la 7 temporada
The title made me think of the song "Hello and Goodby,"
an old Jill Ireland song.
6:25 what secret is Mrs. Bug talking about? I don’t understand/ can’t remember why there was a conflict over the gold?
Thank you for sharing this now I will be ok until I can actually see season seven
When oh when are we going to see Part 2????? We have been faithful fans but this is ridiculous.
I agree it is frustrating, but as mentioned season 7 got screwed up from the pandemic, no surprise there. I think our patience will pay of., the last thing we want is a overrushed season, right?
Now I feel all up on part one….but why such a long delay? Fans must be fed a little bit. In the US that will be the election. It's just hard for us.

I grew up in Ticonderoga
WHERE CAN I WATCH?
contractors be contracting lmao so true
So people from the past can go to the future through the stones. Always wondered about that. So Jaime might be able to go to the future.
No. Jamie cannot time travel physically says the author
I wanna be unbothered like Mrs. Bugs or Bogs lol
Very helpful, good job. Let's hope we get through Part 2 without any more rapes!!!
i stopped watching the show after season 4 all the grapes turned me off and i couldn't continue with it but i thought to watch a recap to see what happens after that and i enjoyed your videos
OK so are they ever going to finish it? And confused as to why it takes so long. The fans have a chance to die before this shows up.
Hi I'm looking in the Walmart store to find season 7 part one for my collection haveing no luck can any one help please
I don't believe they have released it yet, my guess would be it will release after part 2 with the whole season. If anyone knows differently let us know.

"Liaison" is a noun, not a verb. "Liaise" is the verb.
people are not "hung" -- they are hanged. Minor grammatical point.

ah hell that bastard killed rollo.. :( i hate cliffhangers...but that one was to obvious.. :(
No, he didn't kill Rollo. However, he now knows that Ian loves Rachel because he left his beloved dog with her.
