Claire going back through the stones for the sake of their baby is the most moving moment in the series' history. The acting is agonizingly brilliant. As impossible as the fantasy is, it feels exactly the way two people madly in love in would feel if it were possible. There are dozens of highlights but this one really got me.
I totally agree! It is my favorite moment in the series as well. I remember watching it for the very first time, and feeling the depth of their connection, called real love.
I genuinely don't understand how these two never one a SINGLE award, especially for Catriona. They'll get nominated plenty but they didn't win one, that is a crime.
Black Jack / Frank Randall it’s amazing to me that he could play a character who one second I want to beat his face in, and the other I feel compassion towards. He’s so dynamic having to play such opposites.
I love the scene where Murtagh finally gets his revenge on the Duke of Sandringham and relieves him of his head and then presents it at Claire and Mary’s feet.
Way more than 20 moments of this show! One of the absolute best shows of all time. It has everything. Romance, violence for the men. Strong personalities and actual historically accurate content. We stan Outlander! Both the show and the book series 🫶🏽
Omg the scene I could watch over me over was in episode one when Jamie said toClaire something like “do you want me to take you over my shoulder” and I imagine I could hear thousands of women all over the world shouting “Yes!”
Ahhhh Outlander. A series that's just..... too good to fit into a few words. Cait and Sam are such amazing actors!! They are super charged with emotions. Best casting ever!! Roger is such a sweet character. He literally went through the fire for Brianna. I often wonder if she even deserved his love to be honest. There is so much to say about Outlander. I love it ❤.

I'm not sure why nobody mentioned Rupert and Angus, but for me, Rupert talking to Jamie in the shed after Culloden kills me every time. How he do bravely walked to his execution. I bawl so darn hard, every time. For years, my youngest would fling herself on me to comfort me. Rupert stands as one of my favorite characters from the show. I can't speak to the books because I only ever read the first one well over 20 years ago.
I am obsessed with Outlander! I have not had the chance to read the series yet as I am working through cozy mysteries at the moment but I NEED more Outlander 😍
I LOVE the music and the intro song on this show!! I haven't read the books, but I couldn't imagine reading what Jamie went through at the end of season 1 after visually seeing it. Also Brianna and Jamie meeting each other for the first time is so 🥰
It's freaking horrific. It is so awful that I have yet to watch it in the series, I can't bring myself to do it. And it goes on and on and on, for days (weeks? Read it too long ago to remember, but I think it was weeks, & the psychological/emotional breakdown is absolutely devastating.
I really thought the scene where William and Jamie were caught on Indian land and Jamie admits that William is his son to save his life would have been on the list.
6) That’s one of my absolute top favorite scenes in the whole series….it’s so darn cliché, but still so powerful and emotional. ❤️❤️ 1) That fainting scene….OMG. 😂❤️ I laughed for a week after it - it’s super emotional and I loved it….but the episode cuts and ends right on it, and I couldn’t suppress the hilarity. 🤣🥰
@@kayo5291 All the sadistic scenes, with Randall, were the most traumatic scenes I have ever witnessed, on film. I eventually had to stop watching Outlander due to the non stop tragedies. 😢😨

I also want to point out that Fergus is just as much Claire’s son as Jamie’s, even though they had been separated for longer, and as such Jamie gave Fergus THEIR name, not just his.
@@kayo5291 Master Raymond might have added the poison, but it was Claire who gave it to the Comte. She knew it was in the cup because of her necklace so she can’t claim ignorance. The king might have forced her, but the kill still goes to her with an assist from Master Raymond.
@@Curlyteacher537 Without master Raymond, there would have been no poison in what Claire gave him. And clearly, once she knew it was poisoned, she was distressed and wouldn’t have given it to him, if she’d had the choice. Anyway, it was a very bizarre scene!

Claire might not have killed him if she had any other choice, but that doesn’t mean she didn’t kill him. Is it bad that I love Claire and Fergus’ reunion in that season 3 episode more than hers and Jamie’s? Maybe because jamie knew the truth about her disappearance where as Fergus is seeing his mother figure return from the dead.
The way he gripped her cloak so tight like he did as a young boy and his smile with her hand on his cheek turned him into a little boy in his mother’s arms again. In the book he actually breaks down on his knees and cries into her dress upon seeing her again. He loves his mother just as much as he did 20 years ago and their relationship is so beautiful. You can see him beaming with pride and love when he tells Young Ian about her. It’s important to point out that she left to save him too when she went back through the stones, as her returning with him to Lallybroch would have been very dangerous for him, especially if Fergus had officially been the Fraser name as it would directly associate him with Red Jamie and the Rising like it would her, so leaving him in the loving care of family without a dangerous name was the best thing she could do for her son under the circumstances to assure his safety, welfare, and happiness. It’s also why Jamie never spoke of Fergus or being a father his entire time imprisoned and indentured, to keep him safe from association.

I love the fact that you acknowledge that Jamie and Claire's reunion after 20 years is the best OL moment of all time !!!!! Thank you

The problem with a show like Outlander is how can we ever narrow the best moments into a list of 20? There's so many more to pick from
Now we have to add the farewell at the rocks with Roger , Bre and the babies when they traveling to the future to save little Mandy
I will reread the scene in Voyager where Fergus gets his last name and cry every time. It is such a funny scene and also very emotional.
When Jamie gave Fergus his name I balled reading the book and anxiously awaited that scene on screen.
Yes, Ian staying behind was a tear jerker for sure. I got tears again just watching this video.

Murtagh's death should have been in the TOP 5, imo
haha, but I still can't get over Jamie's pee hands when he embraces Brianna! :D
…😂… same..🤭
@MsMojo : Just to clarify, the sword fight between Jamie and Black Jack, showed in this video, happens in France, not at Culloden :) !! .
That’s what I came to say!
There are a few inaccuracies during this video..
I really thought the scene where William and Jamie were caught on Indian land and Jamie admits that William is his son to save his life would have been on the list.
The Bree and Roger scenes were waaaay too high on this list, but other than that, it's a pretty decent list.

Randall’s seduction of Jamie was epic. Not a pretty picture but amazing acting nevertheless.
