I did a capture and release about 60 yards from my van, but when released they ran fast towards my van and were back in it before I was. They traveled days with me.
Like all of your vids, that’s beautiful and excellent. I’d actually be cool with dying in a place like that, I mean as opposed to a shitty (literally) hospital bed. Let’s face it, suffering is suffering and in the end you can do it in a shitty place or a beautiful place. May we all have that choice.

Many lizards and insects that glow when using headlamp some sparkle and pulsate. Strange geology and formations. Rain that radically changes the landscape from year to year. Can’t wait to go back.
I have always liked your videos but this and L2H is next level. There is a guy named Mjolnir of Bjorn who documents the beauty of Alaska through film and photography. You are starting to remind me of him. Keep it up John. Inspiring!

I am curious about how you get such great, steady shots, both moving and still, as an ultralight(?) backpacker. Do you carry a tripod? I would guess you use a crane in a lot of this? At night time do you simply put your camera on the ground to capture low light shots?
