Me too Zayne i'm 16 I got a job and 14 and did not spend a dollar so I could get a truck and I wanna upgrade it but I dont have enough for upgrades yet I just bought the truck last week. My total on Rough Country for everything I want is 4 grand rn lol. Its gonna take a while to save up but it will be worth it.
Man I got a 3 inch body lift on mine right now (previous owner) and I just can’t WAIT to get that shit off and put a 6 inch lift on it, looks like a beast.
Anyone that gets a 3" always regrets not going straight to the 6 inch lol. That's why I'm going from stock to straight to the RC 6" it's on its way to me as we speak..
No rusted cab corners or nothing lol they all look real nice still to this day without the rusty spots lol Still my favorite trucks i mean who can not love an obs chevy, lifted or dropped...Classics!!!
With a 6 in lift you shouldn’t have to crank the keys bet much at all. My truck is sitting on 35s with just a leveling kit and keys cranked 1/2 of the way.

My 98 K1500 is in practically mint condition. I've been tossing around the idea of a 6" RC lift. I'm just not too sure about wheel offsets...etc. What is the offset of those M/T Classics? The only ones I find online are the 15x10 Classic III 6x5.5" -45mm. Is that what yours are?

My 1995 Z-71 is on 315/ 70/ 17's (35 x 11 actual size) on American Outlaw 17" x 10"s with nothing more than a 2" leveling kit, but your 6" lift looks pretty good. It just isn't required for the 35's.
I was wondering on passenger side did u use stock differential mount and if u cut passenger side off like driver side?and did u add stabilizer shock can u make another video and go underneath and point out plez
Hey, great looking truck, im trying to do the same with my truck, i was wondering if you had to get spacers since the 6 inch rough country lift requires 20 inch wheels?
That looks amazing! does the rough country kit level the truck also? and if you don't mind me asking about how much did the shop charge to install? i want the kit but don't know how much installation should be without overpaying
STREETRACEN4U yeah it levels it. Or you can tighten the torsion bars more to raise it even higher. My shop charged 600 to put it on not including mount and balance the tires or alignment. I called around and got quotes anywhere from 600-1000$.
Ay man shes a beaut. I'm getting a 92 single cab long bed and I wanna know the specs that u got on your lift and your wheel/tire set up because this is exactly how I want mine to look
Have you rebuilt the front end before lifting it? I’m planning to life my bone stock 1997 single cab Z71 but she has a lot of play in the steering wheels. Also looking to upgrade my UCA if there’s any company out there that has it. But your truck is shinning! 👍🏽
I have a 92 Chevy with that same lift but my truck looks like it still has a little rake to it... upsetting. and mine doesn’t ride as good as you are saying so you might have upgraded shocks
Hi brother, you didn't have any problem when using the 35 "wheels. I want to be installing a 6" lift kit and I want to use the 35 "wheels. Can you tell me the name of those wheel models?
Nice. Much better then the body lift... but I wouldn’t mind doing a 1 inch body lift but I can only find 3 inches online so I’m not even gonna bother. Anyone know of a company that sells less than 3”?
I will be putting a 4 inch suspension lift on my truck but I’m leaving the 3 inch body lift on it so I get 7 inch of lift. And mainly because I don’t want to go through the trouble of taking the body lift off
Legoboss789 yeah it’s a pain but it comes off way easier then putting it on. I wanted to get rid of the body gap. That’s the only reason I took my bodylift off.
In the video the driveshaft is covered in mud and rust . so more than likely its stock. And as far as steering stabilizer goes. Not many ppl run them on these trucks. These particular trucks have a vertical steering system as opposed to horizontal and they have independent front suspension. They steer okay at highway speeds without a stabilizer. But if u plan on towing or going any faster than average highway speed. Then it would not hurt to get one.
Cameron Coone no they’re great. I’ve ran these tires on all my trucks. They’re not to noisy at all. I buy these tires bc they’re a great value and have never given me any issues.
@@davisharmon278 Ok those are the same ones im getting for my 98 thats why I asked also. My StepDad has a 98 6 inch lift 35 ad fuel rims he got a stabalizer and aid it makes a hell of a difference

A 6" lift on 35's definitely forces you to crank up the torsion bars. Gives it a stiffer ride.
