Nice review. Everyone was telling me to not get the half inch bauer but I did. I have the cordless one with 650ft lb of tightening and 1000 of break away. It's a beast it removes any old bolt on my snow plow and mount! I hope it stays this way.

Congrats on 1K subscribers! I've always been leery of Harbor Freight's electric tools. Had bad luck in the past with their Chicago Electric corded die grinder and their Warrior right angle grinder. It looks like your Bauer impact gun has seen some use. Other people say they have had good luck with the Bauer tools. I may have to give them a try.

I wish I knew more about impact wrenches when I first got my car back when I was 18. Life would've been so much easier LOL that impact seems like a beast

It won’t even remove any of the lugnuts on my Chevy 1 ton. Very disappointed in this tool.

For one don't use an extension cord especially a cheap one. And for two lug nuts have this way of seizing. Make sure you have good quality lug nuts because certain kinds will expand and that is not the tools fault.

Sorry, can't agree with this review. Mine broke after less than two years of very light home use. I took it apart and several ball bearings were sheared in half. Also, there is no way it ever got close to 1050 ft lbs. It had trouble with the lug nuts on my 3/4 ton pickup - lug nuts that were removed less than a year previously, and not used in a salt/rust environment. I broke them free with ease with a breaker bar. This thing is a total piece of junk in my experience.

The motherfuker costs 50 bucks if you get a year out of it you got your money's worth. Also if you use an extension cord then yeah it's going to be a little lacking in power especially if it's some regular ass cheap extension cord. Also cheap lug nuts have this way of expanding and getting seized, it's not about the rust. And finally you may very well have gotten a dud. You did after all by the cheap tool so you got what you paid for. You still got almost 2 years of use out of it so you really don't have a single thing to complain about. Overall is the tool piece of junk or is it just you? I think you can guess where I'm leaning

@seanbutler2291 It's a piece of junk. You're entitled to your opinion though. Appreciate your input, but it isn't well-informed on my use case. I didn't get two years of use out of it bc it was wholly inadequate for every job on which I tried to use it. Every single time I pulled it out, it was too anemic to do anything, so I would just resort to muscling things with a breaker bar, or hassling with getting my air tools out. I have since moved on to a more reputable but $$$$ brand for an electric impact and have been very happy.
